Uncle Yu definitely did us right! We ordered takeout for our Chinese food night, and it was so good. It had all the classic Chinese takeout flavors you hope for when you're craving Chinese food, and everything was delicious. Just a heads-up that they're takeout only, but the experience was still great. Our order was packaged really well, everything made it home without a single spill, and the portions were generous for the price. We'll definitely be back!

I was trying to be a fake vegetarian and I needed something good to eat . I order the broccoli with garlic sauce and I did not miss having meat at all . Who would have known just having broccoli would be sooo delicious. I relapsed and went back for the fried prawns , sweet and sour pork ,Mongolian lamb , egg rolls and crab ragoon . Every item I tried was delicious .

This is my current favorite mom & pop Chinese takeout spot. Our current orders consist of combination fried rice, broccoli in garlic sauce (soo good!), salt & pepper chicken wings or pork (what they're popular for), & orange chicken (because, duh!). All of the fried food always come out crispy even if it's to go. The only thing is that sometimes the fried rice seems bland. Some days it's amazing though. It's the only thing that's not consistent. We did order the mixed veggie dish before but it has chunks of onion bulbs. I'm not really a fan of chomping on chunks of onions so we never ordered it again. If that's your thing, then make sure to order that! We've also tried the sesame balls. They're good. Nothing special but we've had better. The service is friendly. I usually call in at least 30 min before I want to pick the food up. They do take longer to prepare the food so it's best to call ahead. Make sure you call!! Don't order for pick up via Ubereats or DoorDash because they up charge everything by $3+. If you order for pick up, you pay at the front door & then you exit and pick up the food through the back door This spot used to have an area to dine in but ever since they transformed it into To-go only during COVID, they never looked back. It works out because they have generous portions so it's best to enjoy at home and just put all the leftover away after! This spot is currently in my "meal prep" (lol) cycle of every week or other week depending on what my stomach tells me. I'd definitely recommend this spot!

Pork fried rice, hot and sour soup, pork with green chili, beef with onion

We ordered food delivery through DoorDash. We tried the Pork fried rice, hot and sour soup, pork with green chili, and beef with onion. Oily, typical Chinese food. The hot and sour was on the sweeter side, which we don't like. Food wasn't salty so that was good. And the meats were tender.

I think there's a reason the Lord did not let my husband and I try this place, even though we are by it all the time. This place is a hidden gem! We had been Instacarting all day on Saturday and had not had dinner yet. On our last order, we went to FoodMaxx right next door, and as soon as we got out of the car, the entire parking lot was intoxicating with delicious food smells. We still had to do the order, but luckily it was close enough that we were able to come back 30 minutes before closing. Even after getting there late, the food was FRESH when we received it. I am talking, too hot to hold on the drive home. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Fish with chow mein. The fish was still crunchy and hot when we got home (about a 5-minute drive), and the chow mein was greasy (we like it that way). I would definitely come back for other fried foods. My husband got the Mongolian beef and BBQ pork fried rice. He absolutely loved the BBQ pork fried rice. He said it was the best he has ever had--trust me, he knows what he is talking about. The Mongolian beef was ok, but that's my fault. I make a killer Mongolian beef, and it's hard to beat that. Overall, we paid $34, and the portions were amazing for that price! We will definitely be back time and time again. I cannot say much for the service since we ordered through one window and picked up at another--we did not interact with the employees much.

I called in my order for pickup and arrived within 30 minutes to find it ready to go. Parking was a bit of a hassle since it's a busy area with traffic. I couldn't go inside the store, so I picked up my order from the side entrance, where there was a table and a lady taking orders. I'm not sure if they only offer take out because I didn't see anyone dining inside the restaurant. Also, they placed all my food orders in a box, which was so convenient for me to carry. Let me tell you...I loved the walnut prawns! They were so crispy and perfectly coated in the white sauce. Yum! The orange chicken was good..crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and covered in a sticky, sweet, tangy sauce. The beef and broccoli were okay. I mean, it's beef and broccoli, haha. My husband kind of liked the Kung Pao chicken. It's usually his favorite, but he wasn't too much of a fan of this version. I'm not a fan of chow fun noodles in general, but my family really enjoyed them, which is what matters most. Everyone has their own preferences.

Salt & Pepper Chicken over chow mein

Generous portions for sure..ordered salt n pepper chicken, Mongolian beef, and kung pao chicken all with chow mein...yummy! The chow mien was chewy and not overcooked like some other fast food places...they cook to order so make sure to order ahead so u don't have to wait and waste ur lunch time like i did...restaurant cancelled my online order so i had to wait...to go only, cash preferred, credit card with service fee...solid option for lunch...took a star off bc they cancelled my online order and i had wait..

Mongolian beef, really good and pairs well with pork fried rice

*********************3.5 stars*******************…read more Today we stopped by for my friend's birthday lunch. Of all places, I don't know why she picked Fong Kee Clay Pot. Several months ago, I visited Fong Kee Clay Pot with a different friend who gave it rave reviews. The food isn't gross, but it's something I can make myself. Cook some meat and rice, and throw it in a clay pot. Although I didn't want to come here, the rest of my friends were excited to try this place. I kept my mouth shut and didn't express my opinion. Maybe I should have spoken up because everyone was underwhelmed by what we ordered. My food was bland and needed more flavor, but I wasn't sure what to add to make it more flavorful. What I shared with my husband: Preserved egg and chicken porridge with a Chinese donut Chinese sausage w/ salted fish I was disappointed by the amount of salted fish in my bowl. I found a few sheer pieces of basically nonexistent fish in my fish. It takes less than two dollars to make this dish, so I have no idea why a bowl of rice costs $17. I love preserved egg and chicken porridge, but this one lacked sodium and preserved duck egg flavor. My guess is that they made plain porridge and dumped chicken and preserved egg into it instead of cooking it on a slow simmer. My friend had to send her dish back because she found a hair in her food. Cons: Bland dishes Expensive dishes for what you actually get Pros: Prompt and good service for a party of 7. The next time a friend suggests Clay Pot, I will suggest a better alternative and spare us disappointment.

You get served a huge bowl for $16.45. Lots of noodles, meats, shrimps and dumplings. The broth is seasoned just right. The first time I came here, I ordered the Salt 'n Pepper Prawns in-shell. It was made with rough salt and chili peppers. Prawns aren't breaded, they're fried in the shell. That's the way I like it prepared. The first time I came, service was great. The waitress was nice and we talked about old school chinese food. The second time I had lunch, it was around 12-noon and the place was busy. The same waitress was there, and she remembered my order from last time. Overall, I had a nice experience. It's good to see these restaurants still exist, and are still popular. The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. The best thing we ordered was the Sizzling Yellow Croaker with Fried Garlics (9/10). The fish was super crispy, and the sweet, garlicky skin was incredibly addictive. I would 100% order this every time I come back. We also had the Shredded Cabbage with Sliced Pork (8/10), which was nice and tangy. The cabbage soaked up all the sauce, making every bite packed with flavor, while the pork provided a great contrast to the vegetables. The House Special Fried Rice with Pickle & Beef (7/10) wasn't anything extraordinary, but it served as a great base alongside the other dishes. The pickles were an interesting addition, as I've never had fried rice prepared that way before, but I definitely enjoyed it. Finally, we decided to try the House Special Spicy Frog in Stone Pot (6.5/10) since most of us had never had frog before. The flavor was outstanding, with a great umami depth and just the right amount of spice. The frog itself was a little difficult to eat because of the large number of bones, but the meat was tender and juicy. Replacing the frog with another protein probably would have made it more favorable, but I still enjoyed trying something new and didn't regret ordering it. Overall, Ping's Bistro is a great spot for outstanding Chinese food. Every dish we tried was enjoyable, and there are still so many items on the menu I'd love to come back and explore. The prices are on the higher side, but the quality and flavor make up for it. I'll definitely be back.

Though I prefer my food a little bit more flavorful, Ping's Bistro really shot every single flavor up. The Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables was served first, and without a doubt, is one of the spiciest. It's a good size for sharing, but the preserved vegetables on the bottom was mushy and came in a very small portion. Though supposed to be a part of the dish, seemed to be thrown in just for some extra flavor. Though I selected mild spiciness for the Spicy Boiled Fish, it was still REALLY spicy. Maybe it's my spice intolerance, but this dish lights a fire in your mouth. Also, this dish is mala, so it numbs your mouth. Some people may enjoy this sensation, but it's a pass for me. The fish was really soft and tender though. The fish was my favorite part of the Spicy Boiled Fish. Not only there is fish underneath, it was surprising to see other ingredients like lotus, vermicelli noodles, and much more. The salted egg covered pork was extremely salty and oily. I was surprised to know it was boneless, and I felt like the salted egg crust is too thin, which let the taste of the pork overthrow any type of salted egg taste. The Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus was again one of my preferred dishes, though it was extremely oily. I really liked the egg, black fungus, and bell peppers in this dish. The eggs and black fungus were soaked with flavor and the bell peppers balanced out the heaviness. The pork was also alright, but more on the tougher side. If you were to come to Ping's Bistro, I would advise you to order the Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus. The floors were really sticky, but other than that, everything was alright. The water was poured messily, but I guess it's no big thing. The staff were really quiet and avoided interaction. When they serve your dish, they never wait an extra second before they leave for any questions or requests. They just drop the dish and zoom away. From my review, just remember: saltiness. I'm not convinced that I'll come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.
