Great food, but they are rude. Doors locked if you knock they say call the number. Covid is over. Open up. Quit being afraid of your own shadow.

Really enjoyed this restaurant!! Be sure to plan ahead for Saturday nights. They get busy but it's so worth the wait!

This is my go-to place for Chinese in the Glen Ellyn/Wheaton area. The food is delicious. Try the Rumaki-bacon wrapped water chestnuts.

This is the best Chinese food you can get. I've tried many places and none of them compare to the quality that Dragon One offers.

Solid takeout Chinese food. Moved to the area not long ago and tried a few local options - Dragon One is the winner.

I ordered the vegetable chop suey. Mostly bean sprouts and too expensive. I won't be back because I think it was a rip off .

This place has the best egg rolls. The food here is definitely quality. The best in Glen Ellyn since chins closed.

I'm glad I waited because my options expanded to the entire menu, not just a one-off veggie dish!! Everything me and my partner tried was delicious. The service was so welcoming, kind, and hospitable. The place was nearly empty when we arrived and got a couple more tables during our stay. There was music on and off. It didn't feel air conditioned. To meat eaters: I understand the letdown of the menu you once loved changing drastically, and I know, who are you to trust me... but please don't write Luong Loi off completely. Maybe for one of the times when you go out to eat or order food, you can try doing veggie and support this lovely place. :-) For the appetizer, we were recommended the Mushroom Pani Puri. It was savory, great textures, with a very tiny bit of spice. For my partner's entree, he got the Fresh Rice Noodle with Crispy Rolls & Vegan Ribs. He loved it. I tried the vegan rib and it was delicious! For my entree, I got the Half-Moon Tofu Fried Rice with Vegetables & Vegan Sausage. This was so yum, great combo of flavors, savory and smokey, and the eggy crispy tofu was really great! Drink: Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk, brewed at our table with a Vietnamese phin filter that's placed over the cup. Stirred and poured over ice for a cold drink. This was nearly identical to how I make/prefer coffee at home, so it was PERFECTION.

I liked that the lunch special had some cucumber pieces to cleanse the palate. My Pad Thai reminds me of the college Thai food that is well made enough but might seem a bit premade. If you like the profile, slightly sticky and chewy noodles with pretty strong sweet flavor profile, this is not bad. Egg roll was light and crunchy, some might like that. Overall I think the Thai flavor is a bit muted, and it's leaning sweet to fit non-Asian palate. It's not bad, but also I think there are better Thai places around Chicago.

The chicken is pounded incredibly thin, yet remains juicy and is perfectly spiced and cooked. The bite size rolls are always crunchy and flavorful, especially when dipped in either the lightly sweetened dressing provided or their perfectly balanced chili oil. Strangely enough, however, I usually devour the little cup of cucumber and onion salad that comes with it before anything else - so yummy! The service is always quick, accurate and very friendly; and I'm really happy to be able to whole-heartedly support a hometown business.

Maybe not in chi city but certainly around these DuPage boonies.. Tonight for the first time I dared myself to get the green chicken curry - the hotter one. (It's the opposite of Mexican! Perfect balance of chicken to vegetables to this authentic curry sauce which brought me right up to my heat limit but no more and the taste was full, varied and incredible!
