We've done carry out and delivery and both have been fabulous. Good food, good service, good prices. We always order extra hot mustard and they almost always remember. My local go-to Chinese restaurant. Nothing flashy or fancy, just damn good food. I've been here many many times, even watched television with the staff (didn't understand much of what was said - but who knew there was a 'China's Got Talent' type show that you don't have to speak the language to know what's happening). Staff is awesome and very accommodating. Hot tea is not on the menu, but simply ask for it and they happily make it for you. So service with a smile and a damn CLEAN restaurant make me bump my review to 5 stars! They have their own parking lot, and plenty of it. It's in a strip mall with big glass windows so with plenty of natural light, you could see any grease and dirt - but there isn't any! This place is clean and tidy. Servers will come to a table to take your order and bring it to you. Or simply stand at the register and wait. Your choice. We ordered crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, and order of egg rolls, and shared a Mongolian Beef. It gave us plenty of food and we even took home some leftovers!! The food was delicious (as always). The amount of filling in the egg rolls and crab Rangoon was amazing. No noodles or rice in the egg drop soup, but every Chinese place I have ever gone to makes it their own so that was no big deal. There was plenty of meat in the Mongolian Beef and neither one of us felt like we were stiffed on the amount (no one ever like having 'Mongolian Vegetables' because there are only 3 pieces of meat....there was plenty in the dish - enough for us both to share. Food on the bland side. I ordered the Mongolian Beef lunch combo and dined in. The "beef " was mostly onions and very little pork to n the pork fried rice. Even the egg role, which was perfectly crispy, lacked flavor. Lunch was served in a styrofoam container with plastic forks. They have 3 tables of eight for communal eating. Rice was good, but what ever you do, don't order the pot stickers!!! One inch piece of pork or sausage and everything else is about 5in of dough. More like pizza dough. The 3 of us got sick and threw them away. I would only order rice from here again. read more

Lady who took my carry out order charged me 30 cents for a styroform container so my food didn't slosh out in the bag before I got home. When I complained about it while picking up my $30 order, they did nothing other than tell me to make sure the "bag sits level then that would not happen." The food is a bit inconsistent depending on the cook. Egg rolls are okay, my General Tso's chicken has been pretty good at times, but also has been overcooked & tough. Some of the dishes are lacking in the meat department, some of the food can be greasy at times and pretty good at other times. Overall pretty decent food, but there are definitely better options around town. read more

The best Chinese food we have found in Glen Ellyn or Wheaton. Tons of meat and veggies in the szechuan chicken but not spicy enough for my taste so I will let them know next time, the beef lo mein was a bit oily, but still really good with a lot of beef in it. Large portions worth the price. They have lunch specials as well. Pot stickers filling is delicious and the free eggs rolls were good too. Plenty of sauce packets and fortune cookies included. Open kitchen and super nice lady at the front register. Food was made quickly and I am happy it was all good. Location is off Roosevelt and next to the dry cleaners, have been in that area a few times and never noticed it there. Now that I found them, Will definitely order from Dragon One again! read more

Excellent food - we got two lunch combos (pepper steak & Szechuan pork). Delicious. We're new to the area, live in Wheaton, down the block from Fu Yuan, which was just awful -- made us afraid to try another Chinese restaurant, but this one did not disappoint. The food is good, however...believe it or not, they charge for each packet (condiment) of sauce !!! I find this to be extremely offensive! When you go to a restaurant, you do not pay for condiments !! The restaurant is supposed to build that into the food cost ! read more

I have been going to this Chinese place since i was in College, from 2006! and i have always ate here for the food and got to know the owner... every time i came here the owner recognized me and greeted me every time i visited. now i work in downers grove and order food over the phone with this owner.... she is extremely rude and doesn't know how to treat old time customers. ON her LUNCH SPECIALS she charges dollar for every little thing! I have talked to her about this concern i had and she doesn't care. her answer is "i will not discuss this anymore with you." Another one of my colleagues have ordered and she is rude as well. Charging extra $3.00 plus tip and tax. the food is was really good and i enjoyed it every time i came to visit, but now the food is real bland and i don't care much for it any more but I have introduced this place to other people and they are just disappointed with her Demeanor. Its not about the food or the money.... its about your business running so long that you should thank everyday that people enjoy food and are please with our customer service... just be careful when you order... on her menu is something else but if you order its something else. read more
