I checked out this place cause it was open on a Monday (typically Chinese restaurants are closed on Monday as that's their day off) in my area. I try to support local businesses when I can. I had a taste for shrimp fried rice so I checked on Yelp and here we go... It's located off north Ave. in a strip mall so there are of parking spaces. It's a to go establishment no tables to sit down and eat but there are a couple of chairs to wait for your food to go only. The portions are plenty for a lunch meal. I ordered the following: Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice - it was ok had a warm amount of heat/spiciness with sliced of white meat chicken and chunks of bell peppers and carrots baby corn celery garlic, roasted peanuts. The fried rice is a bit over cooked a bit sticky type of texture and flavor alone is ok not Chinatown fried rice which is more flavorful that you can eat it alone. It's ok General Tao's Chicken with fried rice- fried breaded chicken pieces with a sweet chili thick sauce. There was bs y corn, slices of carrot and broccoli and garlic. It ok Small order of wonton soup- 2 wonton pieces with green onion in a yellow broth , the meat in the wonton had a very vinegar flavor and texture was a bit mushy I'm not a fan of the wonton flavor. It's ok Large order of shrimp friend rice...good amount of baby shrimp, green onions and bean sprouts. Texture was a bit over cooked, sticky. It's ok Egg roll its cabbage it's ok. Overall it's an ok chinese to go place when you are nearby and have cravings... One suggestion If they compare with other chinese restaurants nearby of their flavors for improvement of theirs, I'd come back and try again down the road. read more

Been a long-time customer, but ownership has changed. I recently ordered and it was a mixed bag. I typically get the chicken on a stick appetizer, and it has always been fully marinated. And beaten flat. This was like strips or breast meat with some sauce drizzled on it, and it didn't appear fully cooked. Completely unhappy with that appetizer. Ordered a large chicken fried rice, and it was fine. Decent portion, tasted good. And two orders of Sweet and Sour chicken. The fried chicken bits themselves were very tasty and done well. The sauce was terrible and was just liquid. No peppers, no onions, no pineapple. Every other place I have ordered sweet and sour chicken from has had vegetables in the sauce, and pineapples. Customer service was neither good nor bad. I will likely need to find a new Chinese place, as I will not be going back. read more

Never left a Yelp review before but after this experience it is needed. Ordered from them a few years years ago, first time great, two times since then not so much. After not ordering from them in three years, my mother and I were deciding between Thai or Chinese. I prefer Chinese over the blandness of Thai. My mother called spoke to the guy where she repeated her order and he repeated it back to her four times!!!!! She wanted beef cashew chop suey and I wanted low mein noodles with sesame chicken, the guy couldn't understand why anyone would want it that way, but it was on their menu that you could substitute rice for noodles. He said 15 minutes, so I was there in twenty. When I got there a customer was talking to the guy at the register giving his order in Spanish, which should've been a sign. The food was was ready, I asked where the beef cashew chop suey was, the guy looked at me and was stumbling over his computer screen saying we never ordered that, (B.S. I was in the room on speaker when my mom ordered it,, and heard him repeat it four time.) So I called my mom and made sure she did order it she said "yes", guy still pretended to be like a deer looking at oncoming traffic, I said "ok I would like to order the cashew beef chop suey, I'll wait", guy looks at his computer says "We don't have "cashews only peanuts." so my mom asked for something else. Waited saw the chef in the back a Spanish fellow, who I don't know what his experience in Cooking Chinese food was, probably from a book. Got home sauce spilled allover the inside of the bags. Food falling out of the Styrofoam containers. The low mein noodles were dry and burnt, my mother said "the restaurant is just weird. and her food was just "ok." Won't be going back again real shame since much better Chinese restaurants are going under. Next time Panda Express is the way to go for Chinese for me. Food was not my cup of tea. Tried once, wouldn't return. I ordered a vegetable lo mein, extra spicy. The "lo main" noodle type was fettuccine, which was breaking so easily. It wasn't spicy, or extra spicy for that matter. The broccoli wasn't crunchy, or seasoned. The whole dish was just bland. Overall, the customer service was really great. I decided to try Winhall chop Suey never again how did the Mongolian beef but what I got was Mongolian vegetables had about 10 pieces of beef in the Mongolian beef rest with all onions and peppers not spicy no taste. And I ordered the hot and spicy soup and I have to give it up. It was OK not the best I guess I'm kind of a Chinese food snob growing up in Chicago, he's going to Chinatown every week. I've ordered from this restaurant for years. Always had a great experience, tasty food, and would bring it home after work. Today I ordered a large orange chicken, large shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp, 4 egg rolls, crab Rangoon and Singapore noodles. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, egg rolls and crab Rangoon from this place. The Mongolian Beef was OK lacking heat. But the egg rolls had nothing but cabbage in them and were under cooked. They should also take the name Crab out of their Rangoons as there was none to be found and they were also under cooked. I only ate one of each and threw the rest out. It's way too hard to find a good Chinese food in this area. I was hopeful when reading the reviews but I won't be giving them a second chance. I was expecting this place to pick up the lost business and that quality would suffer from the influx of new customers it just had to receive. It hasn't. This place has stepped it up. Food is hot and ready when you're told to pick it up. There is never a wait. They say 15 minutes and it's ready in 15 minutes. I never have a problem ordering and customizing my orders for my guests. Their customer service is top-notch. Everyone who takes my phone order has been efficient and polite. Delivery service is super quick too. The place is nothing to look at being a hole in the wall in a run down mini mall but appearances can be deceiving. Tonight our tab was $32 we got large fried rice, small sweet and sour chicken, small sesame chicken, and my new fav chicken lo mein (only comes in large) as well as 2 free egg rolls with coupon I got in the menu. When I picked up about 20 minutes after I ordered I swear the bag felt like it weighed 50 lbs. Each container was stuffed full. The lo mein was in the biggest takeout food container I ever saw. Fried rice was busting at the seams. Plus they load you up on fortune cookies and all the sauces. Everything was steaming hot and delicious. I ate lo mein till I was stuffed and there is still (literally) 2.5 lbs left. Fed 4 of us and we have 2-3 meals of leftovers easy. I live close to Wing Ho. I stop in frequently - once or twice a week. Prices for the amount of food is really good. The staff are friendly and efficient. I am always happy with the quality and the quantity. Selections are good. When I have friends and family over I always order from here and everyone loves their food. I appreciate the large shrimp used in their dishes. Note though that the size of shrimp in the egg foo young are smaller. NOTE: THIS IS A TAKE OUT ONLY RESTAURANT. Well we loved their food until we had a wrong order. I called to tell them and the person that answered phone started arguing that she took the order and it was right!! I tried to explain I get tofu every meal and she insisted that we never said tofu. So instead of correcting meal, we got our money back and will not return.
