    Crab rangoon
    Joseph C.

Haven't had this food in quite some time about 8 or 9 months. The crab Rangoon was cold and not very much flavor.. The steamed dumplings were not even lukewarm and uncooked or very undercooked.. the pork fried rice was warm at the bottom but very flavorful. I can't even complain about the flavor. It was excellent.. The barbecued spareribs were kind of warm but extremely tasty so those were the star of the meal.. the orange chicken was not hot at all and a little mushy. As far as the flavor goes, they're pretty good but they used way too much orange rind so the whole dish tasted like orange rind. The egg drop soup was only lukewarm warm which is a pretty good indicator of how long this food took till the time I got to eat it. In one of those soup containers that typically keep things extremely hot for a very long time but in this case was a telling indication of the problem. I don't think I will return and have buyers remorse over the $80 ish spent. I almost forgot...they also forgot the egg roll I paid for!

This place is definitely an example of the iron triangle where you pick two between fast, cheap and good. Dragon wok meetd undef the fast and cheap category. Prices are just right and you get more than what you would get at a fast food establishment. The lunch specials are especially great they all come with fried rice, egg roll and soup for under $10 which is hard to find these days. One gripe is that the fried rice really isn't real fried rice since it doesn't have egg nor does it come with a lot of veggies. The soup options are egg drop or wonton. I liked the egg drop more since the wonton soup had big wontons in it with hardly any meat. The soups gets thick as they cool off. The egg rolls like other reviewers have mentioned are a bit peppery. I don't mind it but if you are not a huge black pepper fan you might not like them. I add extra Sriracha or sauce to mine as I eat them and they are very filling. For the entrees I've had the Kung Po chicken and the Beef with vegetables plates. Both are good but not the best out there. Again there is something in the sauces that are a bit thicker in consistency but the veggies and meat are decent. The portions are more than enough for me. I usually only eat half and save the other half for another meal. I would definitely recommend this place over fast food since they are fast and locally owned with great prices. I hope to try more items from their menu and let folks in my area know about Dragon Wok on Academy.

Delicious! We've gotten takeout twice lately. The lunch specials are amazing. Inexpensive, huge portions and flavorful. The General Chicken had good crunch but still tender inside. There's enough sauce to cover all the meat. The Kung Poa chicken is probably my favorite. The chicken is good, the veggies are good and the dish is spicy. Egg rolls were well cooked. The hot and sour was a bit thicker than I like but had all the flavor. I've missed Dragon Wok. It looks like they are back. I'm happy!

The food is ok, ordered off of UberEats. The food came hot and the delivery was quick. I'm not sure of how the location looks, however I don't think I'd go again just based on the food I got. The price is reasonable and would be even better going into the restaurant.

    Facing the restaurant.

Best place for take-out in the NE Heights. Fast, friendly service. Good food, fair prices, great lunch specials. Not much more to say.

My husband and I finally decided to try this place since the owner of Sushi Xuan recommended it…read more Boy, what a disappointment! First off, we ordered the vegetable egg rolls for an appetizer, I do not recommend them since they are frozen ones. They were tasteless while the interior of these rolls were mushy, though the duck sauce was quite tasty it could not overcome these appetizers. Our entrees came next, my husband asked about the serving size and he was told a plate only fed one person, not true. The plate serves two. Anyway, the Kung Pao Chicken has really good flavor, was spicy and served with a side of steamed white rice. My husband's entree was Orange Chicken and nothing spectacular about it. But what will keep us from ever going back was that as we sat in the restaurant eating I started to smell cigarette smoke. It became more pronounced and I realized they were smoking in the kitchen and had the door open to where we were sitting. With that revelation my husband quickly got us out of there...the cigarette smoking inside the kitchen is a total dealbreaker.

The wait staff was nice to give us another one cuz we sent it back, but it came back again with the same smell so we were worried but it tasted fine and we didn't get sick hahahaha. Wouldn't order it again tho because of the smell. steam chicken feet 5/5: nicely steamed with a spicy kick. steamed egg yolk bun 4/5: this is the main reason we come here! love the topping on the bun and the flavors of the steamed egg yolk. Normally it's a bit runnier which would make it a 5 but it was a bit oversteamed today. IT Dim Sum is a great choice if you're craving dim sum in the ABQ area. Haven't found another spot to beat it yet so it's our go to spot when we're in town!
