I would give zero if possible. Racist and rude employees. I'll walk thru the whole thing, the issue was presented since the beginning and we should have acted on the right to leave while ordering. I ordered an açaí with coconut (I clarified because my stepsister was going to order without), the cashier looked at me like I was crazy, rudely pointed at the ai generated menu and said it says it come with it already. Ok? My sister orders without coconut, no issue. She then orders a honey drizzle, exactly as the menu holds, and the cashier givers her a "wtf do u mean" face... u work here? Do u not know ur menu? Fast forward to it coming out, I only saw my order that I grabbed, and saw immediately how melted it was, not even a drinkable smoothie just straight juice. I was dehydrated so I tried three bites. The strawberries were gross and bananas rotten. My sister is white passing which I believe is important context. I look at her bowl and realize it's the texture an açaí should be (their açaí is naturally way off in flavor and color, for 16.50 you think they'd at least add coloring to make it pass). I saw a yt man walk out with a picture perfect açaí. I bring mine up to the register and again, immediate nasty attitudes. "What's the issue" they begin, very incriminating. I explain mine is melted and everyone else had regular bowls, they said mine is fresh and hers is from the morning? Ok so if it can't be remade, a refund. They proceed to laugh together in my face and say I ate it already. I said I took at most three bites. They say but all the toppings are gone making fun of me together. I say no, it all sunk to the bottom because my bowl is liquid. I scoop it all up to the top and they go flat. They can't refund me. I don't want to escalate as a minority, so I say ok and leave. Don't waste ur money of bowls that aren't even açaí with rotten fruit and bad service. Me and my sister both work in customer service and are the age of the two girls, brunette and white one tan the other pale. We try our best to not give workers a hard time, we should've left in the middle of ordering but didn't want to be a nuisance. Please don't support them, they deserve to go out of business to their better neighbors. Terrible service, terrible food, and terrible prices... pick a struggle.

Mango smoothie, very icy and overly sweet
    Aarti B.

The Mango smoothie was like an ice slushie and very sweet and overpriced. I wish there was yogurt to balance it out. They also do NOT serve Ube ice cream (that's advertised). There's no wait and the poor reviews aren't surprising. If you're looking for a smoothie, I'd walk around and find another shop.

We bought 2 Cappuccinos here and they were very small / mediocre at $7 a piece. Never again. The place is very overpriced. They will not last long with these ridiculous prices. Good luck .... We will NOT be back.

We had breakfast here this morning, during the off season, and enjoyed it. The shake my fiancé got was solid. That was probably four stars. My açaí bowl was good, with fresh fruit and served frozen, although it would have been better with honey drizzled on it. I would say the açaí bowl was only three stars. During the summer I could totally see how cold Açaí bowls are a hit though. Also, the server Ertugrul was friendly too.

Classic açaí bowl with peanut butter
    Becky F.

I never give a one star but what we got was not good. My husband and I both got the classic Acai bowls with peanut butter. We were both very disappointed. The Açaí bowl should have been called a granola bowl. It had very little açaí and half the bowl was flavorless granola. The bananas, strawberries and $2 scoop of peanut were good but the granola was so overbearing. I should have read the reviews before going there but I like trying it out myself before anyones influence. It is also very pricey.

Overloaded with granola, hardly any acai
    Naz K.

The most overpriced and underwhelming açaí bowl I have had. It was mostly loaded with granola and they forgot to add the dab of almond butter that I paid and extra $3 for. Small portion, not tasteful at all, and with all the other options, a definite pass.

The cute store design and fun drink flavors seem like a nice treat after a day at the beach but this is truly one of the worst bubble tea places I've been too. I visited during the off season and had to wait almost twenty minutes to have my order taken when there was only person in front of me. I can't imagine what it would be like in a busy summer day. When I finally received my drinks, it was truly disappointing. The boba was mashed and clumped up together and one of the drinks wasn't even filled to the top. The boba lost its circular shape and was just blobs of tapioca. When I asked them to remake the drink, the server showed me their boba topping bowl and said all their boba had the same consistency so even if they remade the drink it would be the same. I then asked for a refund as I paid $12 for each drink, which is definitely overpriced even if you adjust for being on a beachfront location. The worker said no refunds are possible and the manager doesn't allow it. After another customer came and complained about the terrible taste of the boba, he finally relented and gave both of us our refunds. I really hope the management takes this feedback and invests in better ingredients as it seemed that the employees have informed management about these issues several times.

    iced latte and strawberry lemonade
    Emily M.

This place is cuuuuuute. I stopped by for a latte and lemonade. The lemonade was nothing special which was a bit of a let down but my drink was really good. I liked the tame bitterness of the espresso. The person in front of us ordered a açaí bowl that looked so good! The milk options were only whole/2% milk and almond milk for my drink. They have a decent menu for quick bites and lots of fun coffee drinks if you're strolling the ave! However it's a little pricey (definitely shore prices).

Service was terrible, and the drinks were over-priced. Waited 20 minutes for one acai bowl because it was forgotten by the staff.

I came here for breakfast a few times while staying at the beach. It's a great spot, I would recommend the mint lemonade and açaí bowls.

The highlights were the drinks for sure! The mango smoothie was deliciously frozen and refreshing; perfect for a hot summer day. The service was okay, decently welcoming but not the best. Since we ordered to go, we were given our food in bags and boxes not on plates; they were placed on a ledge hanging on the table for us to grab. We made it there on our second day and it's clear that this seems to be a favorite to both locals and visitors. Upon arriving, it was pretty difficult to find parking as all of the spots were taken, so we quickly located a spot on the residential street nearby. Walking in, the line was almost to the front door, but I didn't mind as it gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu for coffee and breakfast options. I loved seeing the coffee beans available for purchase as well as some of their merchandise on my way to the counter, in addition to admiring the hand-painted murals and so many cool seating options. The tables have really beautiful woodworking, many of which have raw edges which add a lot of personality. Order up! I opted for an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso (because I definitely needed an energy boost that day) and coconut flavoring, frozen matcha, the breakfast sandwich, and a glazed doughnut. I was really intrigued by the coffee smoothie which was featured and highlighted in multiple spaces. The term "smoothie" threw me off but I discovered from a fellow patron that it's simply a frozen blended coffee and they order it all the time. Loved checking out the outdoor seating options as well as the bar that shares the same local, Mary and Margs (SUCH a great name). Since we came in later in the morning/early afternoon, there were already quite a few people flocking to the barstools, ordering espresso martinis, which looked divine. I have to say that my coffee was delightful, you can tell that the beans were freshly ground and the extra shot of espresso really did the trick for me. The frozen matcha was delicious, 10/10, no notes! Would definitely get that again and would try the coffee smoothie next time. I ate my entire breakfast sandwich because I was starving but was expecting a lot more. The homemade biscuit is what intrigued me the most but I think I've been spoiled with some really amazing housemaid biscuit sandwiches back home so this one really fell short for me; it was kind of hard, a little burnt. All in all, this is a really cute, trendy spot, which seems to attract people of all ages with a very robust menu from morning to evening. Definitely want to come back and check out more items!

Their colors are mostly deep pastel, matched by strong flavors that really stand out. Perhaps because we stopped by on a snowy morning in early December, our box of a half dozen warmed my hands as I walked back to the car parked right in front. We drove a ways before opening the lavender box to sample the first ones. We found them soft and friable, so that they were difficult to pick up in one piece. They fell apart on touching, requiring us to remove them carefully to avoid further crumble onto car seats and floor. Should have grabbed more napkins.
