Shaun is great at communicating and explaining what needs to be done. He'll take time to talk to you about your plumbing problem or other things (like his vinyl record collection!). He's done excellent work for us and is very professional. While replacing my shower faucet, spout, and shower head, Shaun took great care to not make a mess. He closed the bathroom door so that dust and material would not waft into the hallway. The bathroom is pretty small, especially for two workers. After the job was done, he cleaned up thoroughly. Be warned... DO NOT use this company for warranty work. They were the original installers for our Rheem hot water heater back in March 2014 and unfortunately we must have ended up with a lemon because it had already starting leaking. This is not their fault and thankfully the unit was still under warranty so I called them to honor the warranty. They were great in coming out in a timely fashion (Joe was a pleasure to deal with) and he verified that the unit was bad and needed to be replaced. Now for the slap in the face, while the unit was covered under the warranty the labor to install wasn't. Again... I completely understand, companies need to make money right? Well they wanted to charge $650 for the install, now that isn't alright. So be warned... if you purchase a hot water heater from this company they will charge an arm and a leg to install your unit. Needless to say... I did not have this company do the install. Thank goodness a friend of mine is a contractor and we were able to get the replacement unit from the wholesaler and we did the install ourselves. Very disappointed with this company. read more

We called to have our injection pump replaced. Chris came and checked it out and went back to get a pump. He replaced the pump but did not replace the screws to the cover and the intake pipe. We also asked him to check the secondary pump because the alarm was beeping. He took off the battery cover and disconnected a wire to stop it from peeping. He did not reconnect it. He also could not tell us if the main pump was working correctly. He said it might need to be replaced. When I called to ask him to come back to replace the screws he came back and was rude to my dad when he asked about the loose pipe saying " it's a vent pipe, and really doesn't matter". When in fact it's an intake pipe for the restroom. Needless to say we had Capps plumbing come to check the main pump and the secondary pump. We will not use Drip Drop plumbing again. read more

This will be long as I am extremely upset. The short story is that I called Drip Drop Plumbing to fix a leak in my ceiling. They charged me $320 (3o minutes of work) and did not fix the leak and said they were unable to help. They also caused more water damage to my house by saying that it was fixed and turning the water back on. When I requested a refund because I still had to fix the leak, they were extremely rude and said they provided "services" so they are entitled to the charge. Full story below for those who want more details. I called Drip Drop Plumbing because of a leak in my ceiling and the technician came out and claimed that it was due to a failed wax ring on the toilet. They charged me $320 to replace the wax ring (30 minutes of work) and then left. After they left, the leak got even bigger and we had more water damage. Another tech came out 3 days later and when I was trying to explain to him what was happening, he dismissed my explanations and just replaced the wax ring again and then the leak continued. He said basically he couldn't do anything else for me and was getting ready to leave. I was obviously upset as I paid $320 and I still had a leak in the ceiling and it was only when I was noticeably upset that he took a closer look at the toilet and noticed a crack. I appreciated that he finally diagnosed the issue, but I still was upset because the leak wasn't fixed and it took me getting upset, for him to do anything other than replace the wax ring. The technician told me to call the office if I was dissatisfied with the service and that I would be reimbursed. When I called the office, the office manager Karla was extremely rude and unsympathetic. She basically told me that I requested the wax ring and they replaced the wax ring so they are entitled to the $320. When I tried to explain that I did not request a wax ring replacement, but a ceiling repair, she said that is what they do when they find leaks. Basically Drip Drop Plumbing doesn't actually diagnose leaks and figure out what might be happening. They go with the easiest and most common repair and if that doesn't work, then they just give up and refuse to refund anything. I called a plumbing company because I wanted an expert to figure out what was leaking, but instead I found a toilet reseating company that charges $650 an hour for labor. They refused to refund any of my payment, and when I got upset, Karla spoke condescendingly to me and didn't understand how I could be upset, when they provided their "valuable service and expertise". I can't get any of my money back, but I just wanted to leave this review as a warning to others considering using Drip Drop. read more

This place is mediocre at best, and that's a stretch. We asked them to come take a look at our pilot light after it went out on our hot water heater and my husband was unsuccessful getting it to start, which my husband informed them of when he requested the service call. The tech flipped it twice, told us what we already knew, and kicked the dryer vent off the machine in the process without fixing it properly. They made no attempt to repair anything the day of the service call on the water heater, only suggested repairs and then left. Quote and response time was reasonable, but the tech was clumsy and wasted our time. We're going back Four Seasons to fix the hot water heater AND the dryer vent. read more

This is a review for a consultation more so than service. I had a stubborn drain clog that I had been using a drain snake to fix with no luck. The plumber who showed up immediately took a look at the problem, described to me exactly what he thought was wrong, told me why the drain snake wasn't working, and then gave me a few steps to follow if I was to try to fix it myself and offered to write an estimate to fix the problem permanently if I chose to. As a result, I followed his advice and gave it one last try and cleared the clog! If I do end up having more problems, I will definitely give Drip Drop a call. read more

Few things strike fear into the heart of the owner of a 90 year old house more than realizing you need to to call on the services of a plumber. So, it was with considerable trepidation that I first contacted Drip Drop Plumbing nearly seven years ago when my sewer backed up. Shaun arrived early the next morning and valiantly squeezed himself into my basement plumbing chase, braving spiders and Frankenplumbing, to assess the situation. He gave me a firm quote and went straight to work. Within an hour or so he had cleared the line, closed up the plumbing, cleaned up after himself and was on his way, leaving me incredibly pleased and with no sticker shock. Fast forward to the present, and the same initial fear crept into my heart as my floor drain backed up. Without wasting another second worrying about the source of the problem, I called on Drip Drop Plumbing again, confident that I would be treated honestly. Shaun and his apprentice arrived the next morning, within the early portion of their two hour call window, and again quickly assessed the situation, offered me a couple of alternatives for treating the problem, and didn't pressure me when I chose the less expensive of the two options. I feel we were WAY overcharged for the work they performed (snaking a toilet), then I asked for a quote to repair a leaky faucet. Their quote was for over 200 bucks, and that was on top of having me provide my own material since their guy said he couldn't identify the specific brand faucet I have. Needless to say, I didn't follow up on that quoted portion of the work. Next time my brother-in-law was in town, he took a look and was able to figure out the problem and fix it with a 15 dollar part from Home Depot - and he's not even a processional plumber. We were hooked up with Drip Drop Plumbing through our home warranty company. I was a little nervous at first because we didn't get to pick the plumbing company who came out, but we were not disappointed. We moved into our home about a month ago, and after a couple weeks noticed that the hot water wasn't lasting long...and whenever we ran the hot water for more than 10 minutes, the water heater started making some crazy noises...like a person was trapped inside it trying to get out...great! Shaun from DDP came out during the time period that was quoted and was able to tell me pretty quickly exactly what was wrong. Unfortunately it had to be replaced, but I believe we were quoted a fair price. We were able to set up an appointment a few days later, which was great. Shaun showed up early that Saturday and from what we see so far, did a great job.
