LOVE.THIS.SERVICE. I've been using this company for about a year now. I was using Dry Clean Direct (DCD) for awhile, because they were super cheap and in my neighborhood. But they routinely ruined my clothes and even lost several things, and when I had to deal with their employees to try and resolve the issues, it was ALWAYS a headache. Then, right when I started having all these issues, they almost doubled their price - I used to get dry cleaned items from Dry Clean Direct for $1.99 each, and all of a sudden they went up to $3.99.. not so cheap anymore. So, right around the same time I was having these issues with DCD, I was flipping through one of those coupon booklets that you find in your mailbox, and I found a coupon for Drive Cleaning for 40% off - I hadn't heard of them before, but I figured, at 40% off it was worth a shot, plus I was intrigued by the pickup and delivery aspect - so I gave them a call... and wow... I'm so glad I did. My first impression was extremely positive - the guy I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of my questions about the pickup and delivery service. I was a bit uneasy about how it would work, because I don't live in a doorman building. But it was pretty easy to set up. The day of my first pickup came and my clothes were picked up as promised - a trend that has continued to this day - they have not missed a pickup or delivery in a year, and I use them every single week. There was one item that I threw in to the bag, it was a top that started out white, but my girlfriend had tried to have it cleaned at DCD, but it came back looking yellow-ish. This was one of the many issues I had with DCD, and we thought it was just a lost cause - but we threw it in with the other items to be cleaned anyway, just to see if there was anything that can be done. We got the first order back, and everything looked beautiful, my work shirts never looked better, not one broken button (something that was common with DCD). My girlfriend's sweater came out perfectly - and most surprising was her white top - we were about to throw it away because it came back yellowed, but when we got it back from Drive, we were amazed! It honestly looked like a brand new blouse.. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but then again, I usually spend $80 - $150 on my work shirts, and anywhere from $500+ on my suits. I spend a lot on my clothes, and I'm sick of cleaners who clearly don't care. So my days of taking my cleaning to the cheapest cleaners around are over. read more

Hands down the best dry cleaner in the Chicagoland area. I have lived in this area my entire life and always frustrated by the poor quality and high prices of dry cleaning. I now live in Oak Park and was happy to hear they have deliveries in my area. This is a HUGE CONVENIENCE and pricing compares to the competition that don't deliver. I was so excited to come across drive cleaning as they were referred to me by a close friend. The entire process was too easy. They literally came and picked up my clothes (even when I wasn't home) and returned my clothes later that week in a nice sealed bag. My clothes looked brand new and you can tell the quality of their cleaning is top-notch...they even put a little clip securing the sleeves together to ensure no wrinkles in delivery. Awesome. In an age of mediocre customer service and attention to quality, Drive Cleaning goes above and beyond my expectations and for a fair price! I had a pair of white pants that had been worn in the snow and the cuffs had turned black. These guys tried multiple times to remove the stains, but unfortunately the stain won the battle. When I called to ask if anything else could be done, the owner was friendly, pleasant, and seemed genuinely concerned for maintaining my business. Understandably, not every stain can be removed and well-loved (worn) clothing cannot be made to look new, but Drive Cleaning does a great job with what they're given. Plus, the convenience of having my clothes picked up and delivered is unbeatable! This is the best dry cleaners I've found since we left Hyde Park. They're reliable, convenient, thorough, and clothes come back looking like new. Drive saved a beautiful silk tie that I thought our previous cleaners had destroyed. Dirty shirt collars that our previous cleaners had ironed in are now clean and the shirts look like new again. They have a service that allows us to pre-authorize minor repairs (up to $10) like broken buttons, so I don't even have to ask for things to get fixed. Great Service Above & Beyond! I was a bit outside of the normal delivery zones and these guys went out of their way to get me on the route and delivery my items for free! Love it! When you go in ask them to get you dry cleaning done before that date you tell them. The day you go in and ask if the dry clean is ready they say no. What the fuck wrong with that you give them time to get it done and they just forget about it. Don't come. read more

This place is perfect for easy dry cleaning. They do a supurb job of not only cleaning your clothes, but will also do minor repairs such as stitching a hem, etc. They are a little pricy but it is totally worth it. I would recommend the service to anyone. read more
