We continued celebrating my sister's birthday, this time at Dry Creek Grill San Jose. We ordered a mixed bbq plate, tempura blue beans, Brussel Sprouts and mixed mushrooms. They comped a dessert for her birthday, we chose a chocolate lava cake. The portions are large for all. The bbq is super delicious. The mushrooms were just right, not too salty. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and the tempura beans were tasty. I only wished if the dipping sauce for the beans were the Japanese tempura sauce. Our waiter Alain was great. He took our pictures, checked on is often. It was a very good experience.

Easy to see that I'm a repeat customer at DCG, especially while on my former turf in the South Bay. I enjoy the scene, as DCG has a more romantic loungey vibe in the bar area (dim lightning and the lower "twirly chairs"). The first visit of the week, I had a prep of the Deviled Eggs, followed by the bountiful meatloaf, chased with a Pinot Noir. I fulfilled my comfort food fix for the quarter. Delicious. The second visit a couple eves later, me and a colleague opted for burgers and the brussels sprout app. Nice size burgers, and the sprouts hit the spot. Personal and professional service from the bar team of Jacob and Alexandra! Speaking from experience, DCG was once my date-nite go to, and now a place to escape the corporate group gathering at a chain.

This spot reminded me of a more expensive standalone version of Lazy Dog or BJ's with more upscale cocktails, kind of like the vibe of overpriced restaurant-bar blends in the airport terminal before your flight. Flavors didn't hit it for me, food tasted quite bland. Cocktails were decent, thankfully, but pretty standard; nothing really stood out. Bartenders were polite, but you could tell they were worn out and tired from the busy night, not much energy. Fine if you want to just hang out at the bar and be left alone. It's okay if you're on a business trip and need to grab a bite, unwind a bit, and expense your meal -- but I didn't feel like the food was worth the price point otherwise, as I think it tries to be fancier than it actually is; but I appreciate that it's a small business in an area where living costs continue to rise rapidly. Note the restaurant charges a 2.6% fee if you use a credit card. (Yes it's listed on their website and signage, but it's not a common practice in the South Bay so that's a bummer.)

We have been coming here for years! And I realized that on our last visit when making a reservation that I'd never sung their praises! Selfishly, we've kept this place to ourselves because it's been our little refuge on busy nights when all we want is a great steak & a full satisfying meal! From apps, to sides, to entree to desserts! The restaurant is welcoming and unassuming and it's why we love it! It's our little local steakhouse with great cocktails and a great wine selection! You can never go wrong with their ribeye! And a nice glass of red! The service from hosts to bartender to our waiter are always so welcoming and accommodating. And I am writing this because on our last visit our waiter went above and beyond on what was a rough night (won't bore y'all with my sappy times) He was attentive and thoughtful and I regret not catching his name (I am sure we will on our next visit) as we'll make it a point to request his tables! Sometimes all you want is a great meal with out all huss and fuss AND THIS PLACE delivers every time!

Brussel sprouts - unique and delicious!

We came to Grill again this time to celebrate several once in a lifetime events. Love the inside layout where you can sit at the centralized bar or a booth or a combo bench seat/chair setup. The lights are dim for atmosphere and is very inviting. Outside parking to plentiful too. Our server was spot on. The food breakdown: Brussel sprouts - these were plentiful and is a delicious recipe. French onion soup - a disappointment, tasted like bullion, very little onion and was very salty. Lamb chops - cooked perfectly, large portion and went well with the polenta. Filet mignon tips with beef stroganoff- good with a healthy dose of sour cream, which was considered too much. St Louis ribs - Excellent beans and cornbread, the ribs had a mild smoke flavor and were finished on a flame grill making the outside tuff. Good flavor though. Crème brûlée - beautifully presented and tasted perfect. Chocolate chip cookie with salted Carmel à la mode - warm just cooked cookie and ice cream - a perfect finish. Overall, we enjoyed our evening and will keep it on our dinner rotation list.

We had a lovely early dinner here. They are located in a strip mall on Hamilton Avenue at Meridian Avenue. We went on a Saturday, and there was plenty of spaces in the parking lot. The complimentary bread was good; they provided a sour dough and a darker bread with butter. My husband and I shared the beet salad, which was delicious and included goat cheese and roasted hazelnuts. The salad cost $16, but when they split it for us, we each had a good portion. We got a side of asparagus with a parmesan topping, and it was very good. I ordered the butternut squash risotto, and really enjoyed it; it came with a handful of small tomatoes. My husband had the meatloaf and loved it; it came with roasted carrots and excellent mashed potatoes. The service was very good. We didn't have room for dessert on this occasion, but no doubt we will return.

Went for Valentine's Day and was glad we did Amazing atmosphere the lighting was soft but each table and a light to be able to read menu Music was soft and pleasing service was top notch from the moment we sat down we were checked on multiple times which was nice the food was delicious Order the deviled eggs with caviar delicious Ordered the calamari was really good and the corn bread was tasty Wife ordered the pan seared chicken breast while I ordered the filet mignon cooked just right Ended dinner with sorbet trio and crème brûlée perfect way to end a fantastic meal Will be back for sure

We go here a few times a year, and our recent visit was really good. Service - We made reservations via OpenTable for a Saturday night and were seated right away in a booth. The waiter came by with water very quickly and also asked if we wanted to do our drink orders then. Service continued to be very good, food came quickly once we ordered. Drinks - I had the "Deconstructed Mai Tai" with my appetizers. It was very tasty but didn't seem too similar to a regular Mai Tai, other than being pineapple rum-based. I would recommend it. My son had the "Cali Squeeze" blood orange beer on draft which I tasted and liked a lot. They have a large beer menu in addition to the extensive cocktail menu. I had a glass of "Opolo" Zinfandel with my steak salad which was a very good red. Appetizers - We shared a Lobster Bisque and plate of short rib empanadas. Very delicious -- the bisque had bits of lobster and really good seasoning. The short rib empanadas came with a chimichurri sauce. I tried bites both with and without the sauce, both were good but maybe I slightly preferred without the sauce. Really good crust on the empanadas, highly recommend. Main Courses - I had the Asian Skirt Steak Salad which had the right amount of steak and a tasty vinaigrette on top of kale salad. It was a good choice but I wonder if I would like it better on top of romaine or other lettuce. My husband had the Trout special which had a really good butter sauce and veggies. My son had the Rib Eye Steak, a pretty large steak serving and delicious mashed potatoes and veggies. Dessert - We split the dessert special, Bananas Foster Bread Pudding which was great -- lots of the delicious brown sugar butter sauce with banana liquer. Would get it again. Ambiance - booths are quieter than the open dining room. Overall a great experience, I sometimes get the barbecue meats which are also very good.

We celebrated my Tita's birthday at Dry Creek Steakhouse, and overall it was a nice experience. The service was okay--staff were polite and attentive enough, nothing over the top but no major issues either. The atmosphere felt appropriate for a special occasion, which made it a good spot for a birthday dinner. I ordered the ribeye steak, and it was cooked well with good flavor and tenderness. Definitely satisfying and one of the highlights of the meal. Overall, a solid choice for celebrations or steak nights. Would come back again, especially for special occasions.

Loved it! I really enjoyed the food and drinks. The place is very comfortable--a great spot to relax. The customer service is excellent, and I will definitely come back.

Here was the well-lit quiet area we were moved from. No explanation given.

I'm writing to share feedback about an experience my family and I had at your restaurant last night on New Years Eve. For context, we chose Dry Creek Grille because it's in our neighborhood. We arrived as a party of five and checked-in with our reservation. We were initially seated in a well-lit area towards the front. There were several open tables, and our table had six chairs, so it was perfect. About five minutes later, after we were settled and ready to order, the host returned and said he had "miss seated us." He moved us to a huge table, far too large for us where, it felt cold, distance and isolated. My husband and I also both have vision problems and struggled to see the menu. We were sat toward the back of the restaurant in a much darker area near the restrooms. No clear explanation was given for the change. The move was a downgrade and made the experience uncomfortable. I wouldn't normally think this however, as the only African American woman, I couldn't help but feel singled out, particularly given the visibility of the initial seating compared to where we were relocated. My husband is still infuriated. As someone who has worked in hospitality, and in restaurants, I know that you NEVER move a party once they've been seated, unless it is requested by the party. I've also learned that implicit bias is very common. After our meal, the female manager/owner then asked if we wanted our pictures taken, as if that would make the experience better. Seriously. No thank you. We will stick to Los Altos Grille, a true upscale grille where the service and etiquette is unmatched. Avoid this place.

Market salad, polenta and mushroom sides. I'm not a vegetarian. This was awesome.

A favorite of my folks, celebrating 2 family birthdays with several of us from out of state. There were 11 and 4 generations. Our waitstaff, Christian, was attentive, friendly, and professional. The service was excellent. My food was perfect. I was torn between several offerings, but ordered the market salad, and 2 sides- the polenta and mushrooms and ate them together. It was a fantastic meal! We were a big party, and where we sat felt like a fine dining experience but with a fair amount of background sound just from everyone in the area talking. Another area of the restaurant has a bar, bar seating with TV screens with sports. So fairly versatile, accommodating to families. Everyone enjoyed their food. The birthday folks got a song and dessert- thank you for doing that. A good time was had by all.

The staff here are really nice and helpful too. They even give you complimentary containers of their salt rub. My partner and I specifically come here specifically for their Picanha steaks which are extremely high quality and affordable. They're great to cook using the reverse sear method or grill like they do at Brazilian steak houses. They taste fantastic with chimichurri or even just with flaky salt because of how buttery the steaks are on their own. The last time we were here, we got 10 steaks for around $150 and we seriously thought we'd be spending way more. Of course the cost will depend on what you, like the prime rib here is very expensive, but weigh out your options! I do think everything else here seems to be a great price for the quality compared to mass grocers. I'd highly recommend anyone to check out this shop!

From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

To start, we were surprised with complimentary spicy meatballs and fresh crudités served with a delicious mascarpone cheese dip, a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the evening. When we asked Luke for his recommendations, he absolutely delivered. We ordered the pork fried rice, and wow... 10/10! It was packed with flavor and is something I still think about. For our main course, Luke recommended the chef's choice preparation of the Chateaubriand, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and one of the best steaks we've ever had. For appetizers, we ordered multiple rounds of the chilled oysters, a non-negotiable whenever my husband and I dine somewhere that serves fresh oysters. They were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktail menu was just as impressive. Every drink had its own unique flavor profile and beautiful presentation, making each one feel like an experience of its own. To finish the evening, we ordered the tableside Sticky Toffee Pudding, and it was the perfect ending. The presentation was fun, interactive, and absolutely delicious. Be.STEAK delivers so much more than just an incredible meal, it's a complete dining experience. The food, cocktails, presentation, and service were all exceptional, but Luke truly elevated the entire night. His recommendations were spot on, his hospitality was outstanding, and he made us feel genuinely welcomed from beginning to end. We can't wait to come back and will absolutely be asking for Luke again. Thank you for making our evening so memorable!

Terrific Food, Drinks, and Excellent Service!…read more I recently brought my daughter to Be.Steak.A for Sunday Brunch for her Birthday and it was excellent. Carlton provided excellent service from the start to the finish of our brunch. He was very friendly, detailed, knowledgeable, service-oriented, efficient, and professional. My daughter and I have eaten at many excellent restaurants and this is definitely one of them with the hot food and service from Carlton. We started off by ordering their three specialty Mocktails that they have listed in their drink menu. It was Amaro Almond Sour, SOHO Seventy Five, and Bitter Little Thing. I also requested a Strawberry Mojito. Their drinks are terrific! We could definitely taste and distinguish the different flavors within the drinks which were combined expertly. Hats off to the bartender. For the food, we headed straight to the hot food in the kitchen area where it was well presented and displayed. We had terrific Crispy Ribs, Salmon, Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, and Clam Chowder. There are many other choices and selections of foods which is all based on your personal preference. You definitely won't be disappointed. The Prime Rib and Clam Chowder were top notch and exquisite. We also tried their seafood station which included oysters, shrimp, fish, and crab. Those were good. The caviar station was nicely displayed with the different types of caviar. The caviar, with our understanding and perception, was a disappointment. It lacked true flavor, character, and ambience. But the dessert station was brilliant, impressive, and awe-inspiring. We tried a variety of cakes, the creme brulee, boba, mille-feuille, chocolate mousse, and they were terrific. Carlton brought out my daughter's birthday presentation and it is definitely something to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed the brunch and expert service from Carlton. Overall, an excellent experience with terrific food and and excellent service! Buongiorno!

I took my parents to Fleming's for lunch on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026. My server's name is Haro. Haro is an awesome server: provided recommendations, attentive to details, verified and communicated back to the customers to ensure service is at top speed and quality. Examples: * My dad was going to order the Prime Spinalis Ribeye Cap; however, the restaurant was out of the ribeye cut and hence, Haro recommended the Wagyu Surf & Turf dish, which completely "wow" my dad. * My mom wants to order the Barbeque Salmon Fillet, but she was concerned there may be diary as she is allergic to dairy products. Haro informed the chef of the concern and confirmed back with us that the barbeque glaze does contain diary. But fear not, as this rockstar chef created an impromptu dish with salmon that made my mom happy and satisfying. Another shout-out to Haro's superb service is during dessert time. We were so full that I didn't plan on ordering dessert, but my love for Fleming's Chocolate Lava Cake made me order anyway. With sweets, I had to order black coffee. Dad decided to get coffee too after hearing how Fleming's freshly coffee is good. When mom saw the coffee, she wanted to try it as well. We asked Haro for another cup, but instead of just a cup, Haro came out with another freshly brewed coffee and stated it is for my mom and on the house. These little things will let you see what makes a good server versus an outstanding server. Furthermore, Haro also asked if we drink. Dad can, but neither me nor my mom drink. With this knowledge, Haro came out with another surprise: 1 champagne with alcohol for dad and 2 virgin champagnes for mom and me. The champagne completely took my breath away as it was that good! My parents were in awe as well! Splendid service!! Dishes ordered: * Appetizers: Crab Cakes, Sweet Chili Calamari, Thai Green Beans, Sauteed Mushrooms * Main Course: * Steamed Ginger Seabass ginger-soy sesame broth, carrot-leek-scallion sauté, fresno chili, cilantro 360 cal | 57 * Barbeque Salmon Fillet mushrooms, barbecue glaze * Wagyu Surf & Turf 7oz Australian Carrera Wagyu Strip topped with black garlic sauce, crab fried rice, crispy tempura shrimp, gochugaru flakes * Desserts & Drinks: * Chocolate Lava Cake (rich chocolate cake with a molten center of callebaut belgian chocolate, served with premium vanilla ice cream & house-made tuile) * Freshly Brewed Coffee * Champagne (on the house) * Iced Tea * Strawberry Lemonade

We sat at the bar, where Nate (the bar manager), Skyler, and Juanita absolutely crushed it. They were attentive, personable, hilarious, and somehow managed to all be ridiculously good-looking. Coincidence? I think not. When we realized we wanted to catch the last game of the NBA Finals outside, Juan, the evening manager, was more than happy to move us to the patio. That kind of flexibility and hospitality goes a long way. Great drinks, great vibes, and an even better team. They made us feel like regulars, even though it was my dad's first visit (my second visit). We'll definitely be back!

The diavola pasta had a great texture and a flavorful sauce, although it felt a little simple since there weren't many other ingredients mixed in. The crispy brussels sprouts weren't for me, not very crispy and a bit hard. The gelato was much better than I expected and ended up being a nice way to end the meal. The service was great though and the lighting inside nice! Overall, the meal was a bit hit-or-miss, but I'd come back to try more of the pizzas since those were definitely the highlight

Dress code ranges from business casual to cocktail--this is definitely a special occasion type spot, with prices to match the luxury vibe. We took our MIL here for an early birthday dinner and she was floored by the views and the sunset. Almost everything is farm to table and you can taste how fresh everything is. We ordered: Cesar salad, fried stuffed squash blossoms, chicken parm, filet minon, New York strip steak, potato smash with horseradish and candied carrots as sides. All the protein mains were literally cooked to perfection. My filet was so tender and juicy, and the sides went so well with it. We topped off our evening with espresso martinis and the mocha mousse which was also very decadent. If you want to celebrate a special occasion and have the means to splurge, Grandview is one of the best places to do it!

Normally this would be ok if GV were not a high-end restaurant. The service is really below the expectation. We were seated while the chairs on the table is all tugged in and the server never bother to pull them out ( we ofc did that ourselves)... What's more... I just tried to double confirmed my dish when I heard a different name from the server. When I asked the question, the server was clearly annoyed and gave us an attitude... Please note, this is like the only question we asked during our whole dining time!!! Food is ok, and it's the one and only reason why this is a two star not one.
