Cassandra returned my initial message and recommended Milan as a great fit to do my hair. They offer complimentary 30 min consultations where you can chat and go through photos with the stylist about what you want. My hair was previously colored, so they also took a test strand to see if my hair would lighten the way they expected. Milan reached out to me after testing and indicated we likely wouldn't be able to achieve the original color I wanted (blue) as my test strand didn't lighten enough, but recommended a vibrant purple instead with some photo references. I really appreciated that they provide this consultation, because it saves both parties the disappointment when the color doesn't come out as expected after hours of working on it. Once you're ready to go, you can make a booking on their website -- Milan let me know the type of service & how long to book for. Each stylist's pricing by the hour is listed clearly on their site (and when making an appointment), and is inclusive of all services, so there's no surprises fees at checkout (additional fee applies if paying by card, but they take zelle/check/cash too). The actual blonding & coloring process took exactly the time that Milan quoted me. She was super friendly and professional the entire process, as were the other staff members in the salon that day, making sure I had water or something to drink. The color came out super well and I'm still loving it. Milan also kindly followed up with some maintenance tips to keep the color vibrant for longer. I have also been getting compliments on my hair from various folks and I can't thank Milan enough for the great experience and awesome hair color I walked out with.
