I did not have the same good experience with Dennis that so many of you have had. I hired him to install two new sets of chrome bathroom sink faucets. He charged me $150 to put in a new valve even though the existing one (which was admittedly old) was working. Then he told me the base of the faucet lever would not fit through the undersized middle hole so I had to go buy two new faucet sets. Lastly, he removed the supply lines to one sink and broke them in half to show me what crap they were. I hired a different person to make things right. He showed me that Dennis wrongly tried to fit the bottom of the drainpipe into the center hole rather than the base of the faucet lever. The drainpipe easily fit the drain hole from below the sink and the base of the faucet lever easily fit the middle hole of the sink. There never was a need to replace the sink basin or to use power tools to enlarge the hole for the base of the faucet lever. My new guy had to go to Lowe's to buy a new supply line since Dennis took it upon himself to crack it in two. My new guy charged me less than half of what Dennis would have charged me if I let him complete the project. I suggest that you consult at least one other plumber before hiring Dennis. read more

Today I received a quote from Armstrong Plumbing for over 2k and thought it seemed VERY pricey for the job description. I called Dennis, he was able to be at my house in 20 minutes, found the very simple problem, and only charged me $145!! Armstong plumbing said they needed to cut a hole in my wall, replace my pipe, and then clear the drain. Dennis unscrewed the top of the drain and cleaned out a bunch of gunk/hair on the top that was causing the blockage. The sink works perfectly now. He even drew me a picture of how my pipes were configured to show me how easily the problem could be fixed. I can't believe how the larger companies like Armstong plumbing try to rip people off and get away with it. Our drain under the wash machine backed up, and after a weekend of trying to solve the problem ourselves with Drano and a 25 ft borrowed snake, Dennis came out within 45 min of calling. We had gotten another quote for $205 just to snake the laundry room pipes, and Dennis did it for less than half of that. Dennis is friendly, courteous, and prompt, and knew his stuff.
