I tried a few sandwiches before writing my review because the first sandwich was too good to be true. They are consistently AWESOME. Everything is fresh and tasty. Well balanced flavors, each one of their creations perfectly assembled. The major down side is the parking of course; DTLA is ruthless. I learned to call in my order then ride two in the car. Drop off my friend to pick up the food while I drive around the block then we rendezvous and away we go. They're open 24/7 so I will swing by after my night shift to get grub to eat at home and see if it's easier to self park. My friend and I walked in yesterday looking for something to eat fairly quick. We walked in and the young girl was SWAMPED with no help. Understandable, it's busy. Then the Owner? Walks in on the phone laughing obnoxiously loud and looking at the young girl and everything she's doing while not helping?? HELP HER A***OLE. We waited for about 15-20 mins for the girl to help us out but it was her lunch time. She lets the owner know that we needed to be helped and there's a couple of other items to tend to, he proceeded to look at us in a dirty way and takes his sweet time looking at the receipts. My friend and I walked out of this poorly ran "bodega" this is an embarrassment of an establishment. We were looking at the deli side and lots of stuff seemed to be rotting and not the freshest. The bread was moldy and looked like they were going to still use it. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. Will never come back here nor recommend it to anyone else as long as i'm alive. NEXT TIME MOVE YOUR A$$, lazy and dirty owner and establishment. 24 hrs! Needed a quick late night bite. We did not want to go to a sit down restaurant. We ordered some breakfast sandwiches and a veggie sandwich. They ran out of croissants and used a bagel instead but forgot the ham!!! We also picked up delicious juices. We sat in our car to wait, and witnessed a man approaching people to buy him a hotdog. He chased a young person into the store, then was kicked out and berated by another man for scaring the young person jnto buying him food. She came out with a pack of hotdog buns. They have a great selection of sandwiches and other café items. Their food is always fresh and delicious. They are open late so it's the perfect place to go after a night out with friends for that late night/early morning breakfast. I usually stop by on my way to work for a bagel and coffee. Carlos is very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable of the menu. He always has my order ready when ChowNow says it will be or even earlier. The online ordering is convenient for when I'm rushing on my way into work. Overall, great experience! 10/10 would recommend. read more

The sandwich was pretty good, and it has a New York bodega feel to it. I gave it 4 stars, which is a little unfair and I will explain. I don't like cheese and I know everyone does lol. But I ordered a meatball sandwich and asked for no cheese, and I got the sandwich and asked again that it had no cheese, and I was told yeah. I walked back home off 8th and Hill and there was cheese. so I had to peel the cheese off and I ended up eating only one haft of the sandwich because it was well made and the cheese was blended well with the sauce. So it was hard to remove. All and all it was good and the place seems cool and I would eat here again. read more

I drink my coffee here everyday. They make the best coffee fresh. We need store like this here I like very much. Also they have best sandwiches. This my new store I come to get whatever I need for my house. From cleaning supplies to ice cream to coffee to fresh deli meat and bread. The staff there are always nice. the store is supposedly inspired by a New York style bodega when in fact it is the opposite. The interior is very nice and clean as they have been still getting the place together but the prices are beyond high for things that would naturally be less in a grocery store i.e Ralphs or a bodega in New York. Up selling during a quarantine is just not good business. I think the store has potential to grow if it meets its customers in the middle with reasonable prices and not upselling. read more

found this place a couple years ago after my friend and i had a few drinks and needed a late night snack. the sandwiches are very good and i think the price is reasonable. if you live close by just order pick up through the app and walk or use a scooter/bike etc. i love how easy ordering/pick up is though the app. you run in and out very quickly- so convenient! i have also gotten delivery before when im lazy. there's so many ways to get food from here lol, no reason not to try it read more
