Duck donuts is always a welcome snack, so finding one in VA was a very pleasant surprise! You can never go wrong with their seasonal themed donuts (my favorite is the one with apple streusel, sometimes called mummy brains around the halloween season) or building your own with dips and drizzles. I love a good maple donut with raspberry drizzle. Service was fast, and you can watch them make your donuts from fryer to toppings like all Duck Donuts locations. The donuts are hot and fresh. They had a small amount of bar-style seating along the windows.

Duck donuts are scrumptious made to order vanilla cake-based doughnuts, fried to deliciousness and topped with all of the accoutrements. Glazed, Dubai, blueberry pancake, chocolate coconut were amongst my fave. There's something for everyone, and a half dozen for me

This was my first time at Duck Donuts and definitely not my last. They have so many options, all of which are freshly made upon ordering. Service was quick and you get to watch them make your order. The only downfall was that they don't have seating, so I had to wait to try all my donuts.

Duck Donuts are fresh, often still warm when I get them. A fair amount of free parking is available by the shop, appreciate that. I've found the counter staff hard to speak to. I was considering a custom order however dropped it due to lack of reception, no one willing to engage.

Hot fresh doughnuts- all are the same donut with a hole, how they are decorated is where the magic happens. Make your up or go with some Of the classic favorites like maple with fresh bacon- yum! I encourage to order in advance as a dozen takes about 10-15 minutes to make. Great for an office party celebration or for a new take on a birthday party.

Thursday 10/12/23 These donuts aren't your typical yeast donuts but instead they are cake donuts. I used to think these were the best donuts I've had in all of Maryland but I hadn't had them since 2021 so a decent amount has changed for me. I got an assorted 12 pack ($24.50) for the family and I had a maple bacon, French toast, cookies n cream, and vanilla icing with Oreos. The donuts were still pretty good and it's dope that they have many different flavors and you can even create your own. All of the donuts were delicious but my favorite was definitely the cookies n cream. Although the donuts were good, they were significantly smaller from the ones I would get in 2021 and the prices seemed to have jumped up too. All in all, duck donuts isn't quite as good as I originally remembered but they are still a great choice if you ever want some donuts.

I had much higher expectations based on other reviews. I was hoping for something a little more but what I had was just okay . I had the blueberry pancake donut. The frosting was super sweet and I even ordered mine without powdered sugar. Dang! I would love a ton of real blueberries but no such luck. Friendly service. Decent price

The breakfast box is my favorite. So many good flavors. Only took 3 minutes after ordering.

Ah hell yea! How can people NOT love this place? Brotini is in town and claimed that he had never tried thee Duck. Can't let him return to the west coast without this experience, right? I was in the area and made my way on thru for the deliciousness of thee Duck. I have no idea what got, but I know that everything was great! The fact that everything is fresh from the donuts to the toppings I something that can't be beat! This is only a place I go on super special occasions, hopefully he'll be back soon and I'll have another excuse to go.

(In my best Oprah voice) These are the best donuts EVERRRRRR!!!!!!! I was put on to Duck Donuts by a colleague of mine that brought some in the office one day and I fell in love. The difference between that day and today is that I had the pleasure of eating them while they were still fresh and warm...what a difference! This is the upper echelon of the donut game and everyone else is left far behind in the dust. Each and every flavor I tried was heavenly including the Maple Bacon, French Toast and Blueberry Icing with Raspberry Drizzle. Next time I'll have to try one of their milkshakes...maybe even one topped with a donut!

Donuts are made from scratch and more on the cakey side. It was my first time at Duck Donuts and I came 30 minutes before they closed. I had rewards on the app and when I tried to claim them, the cashier said it didn't work and to "come back another time". I was then able to easily order through the app and claim my reward. I got the blueberry pancake and coconut island bliss. I enjoyed the blueberry pancake and definitely recommend it. The coconut island bliss was ok in my opinion. They have a good amount of fun combinations/flavors or you can create your own.

Hot, Fresh and Made To Order! You cannot beat that. And baby that Maple Bacon Donut, the best! Enjoy!

When we visited the first time it was very busy - on a Wednesday afternoon. No one is working and everyone is out drinking coffee? LOL! All the pastries are in the middle cases, mostly sweet ones on one side and savoy on the other. The price was very reasonable, unless you get the few selective croissants with special ingredients, such as the pistachio one we tried. The highlight is the latte. These days when you go to a cafe they give you a paper cup regardless if you are dining in with no latte art. We got the cute cup with lovely art. This along deserves 4.5 stars. The pastry were just OK if you ask me. You are able to heat it up yourself with the little toaster by the counter, but you feel rushed as there are others standing around waiting to heat up theirs, or want to get water which is right next to the toaster. overall it was a cute little place, I think it was owned by Korean as it give me a very korean cafe vibe.. There's a good selection of pastries and I ended up choosing a coconut cream cheese option that was pretty good and flaky. I wanted to try the pistachio croissant but to be honest it looks incredibly unappetizing. I wish the presentation was different. I did have their London fog and it comes with sweetened honey. So good! Service was really good. It's essentially self serve but staff are quick on the orders.

Some seatings were comfy (the ones in the back) and the others was a bit hard. Most of the pastries are in the middle with sweet ones on one side and savoys on the other. The price was really reasonable. I saw so many savoy ones I would love to try if I ever visit at BF time. I saw they have Cronut (Croissant and Donut in one). I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit around and enjoy some quiet time, just don't get the cronut unless they cut down on the oil...

The tofu steam bun -- easily my favorite lunch item in the area -- really didn't work. It's still an interesting experience but I really can't recommend a place I now avoid. --- PROS - Interesting selection, interesting food, lots of options, overall friendly staff. - Bathrooms were clean. The interior of the restaurant seemed like a good meeting/date spot. Although they had Wifi, I wouldn't call this a great place to come and study or get work done, although I saw people doing that. I've had the Vietnamese coffee twice, the first time was great, the second time was just okay. Food items are very unique, so much so I didn't like some of them but I still enjoyed the experience. Try something that sounds weird, it's half the fun of coming in here. CONS * Allergies - it wasn't clear what all everything was made with so if you're trying to avoid gluten or peanuts or eggs, I didn't see much on ingredients. I know for some people that's a red flag. * The tea. We just thought it was above average but not amazing. I mean its right in the name, come on. * Collecting items - you gotta look for the little trays and the salad tongs. That's what you use to grab stuff out of the cases. I know for most people that was super obvious but it wasn't for me. * Summertime note: during the hotter months I've noticed they seem to have some issues with keeping things cool.

Once I let it cool, it had a citrus taste, but not sweet. I am still glad to have tried it and did not have to wait long for the order. Within a block of leaving the business, while holding the hot cup with one hand (the sleeve only helped a little), some of the hot tea spilled on me suddenly (I now have a burned scar on my knuckle).
