I was planning on having the sandwich at work but it smelled so good it didn't make it there completely. I called my order and it was ready by the time I told them I would get there. I've visited several times since my last review in 2020. They've added more goodies to the menu and their "atole de nuez" is still the best thing ever, so i have to come back.... Even though they often don't have it available. I enjoy their fried bananas and churros with light sugar, but they're as expected. I will say that the coffee (cafe de hoya) is perfectly made with a light sweetness and the oreos are Carnival worthy. I do wish they carried the "atole" more often, but they have other worthy options for your sweet tooth. read more

WOOWW!! I had a huge smile on my face the whole time I ate the traditional churros. Perfectly hot and crispy but soft on the inside, coated well with cinnamon and sugar. My boyfriend said they're better than Disneyland's. I haven't had theirs, but I can't imagine any churro being better than these. They're perfect. After our first visit here, we came again around 15 hours later. Both times, we placed our order over the phone and it was ready in about 10-15 minutes. On a Saturday night, I was craving a sweet and delicious dessert. I enlisted a friend to come with me and we arrived at Churros Dulce Canella. We split a Churro Sundae with Vanilla Ice cream and strawberry jam and condensed milk. We were thoroughly impressed, it was very sweet but most definitely in a good way! I just came here with my daughter who really wanted to try this place but we walked in and the cashier doesn't even acknowledge us or ask if she can help us . We stood they're for about 3 minutes before a woman entered the place and she immediately responds to her . Came to visit my grandparents and had to come and try these churros. We were not disappointed as our churros were made to order and were nice and crispy. The churros are on the thinner side so if you like the more softer churros... you probably would not be a fan of these. The service was great and we didn't mind waiting for our fresh churros. So I ordered this over yelp and when I was about to leave I locked myself out of my room with my car keys inside. I was so sad thinking my order will be melted by the time I got there. The place itself is small, and there is only room to wait in line which made it difficult to social distance when another couple was waiting for their food inside as well.
