Honestly, didn't like this place. $20 burrito and it didn't look great plus fell apart to pieces before I was even able to put it in my mouth. Their guac is a pretty tiny portion and is overpriced for that matter.

A hole in the wall spot but an absolute gem! Found this spot by accident after a day at the beach and ordered the birria burrito and it was amazing, delicious!

Quite possibly the worst chicken burrito I've ever had was from here . Super wet , salty and the ingredients didn't mesh well at all . Individually , the ingredients weren't very good either . I ended up forcing myself to eat half , as I planned to do a long walk and needed the calories . Fortunately , I was able to try their Birria tacos and those were an infinitely better experience . Those are definitely worthy of being ordered again . This restaurant has 0 seating , so you have to stand and eat at the counter which didn't add to the experience . Not sure I'd return as there are so many solid restaurants around that offer similar meals with seating .

This place is great to visit before or after the beach. I got the nachos with chicken and they were super flavorful and really fresh. They have standing seating only and are pretty fast with making your food. Nicole was very nice and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for some good Mexican food.

Probably the best taco joint in South Beach. This place is a the size of a closet. Just an order counter with a kitchen and no seating except for bar stools. Still, locals and tourists flock to this tiny taco shop. And it's not even on the main road. Why? Because the tacos are that good. Established in 2018, this husband and wife team has been serving the beach tasty tacos and anything birria. The Birria Pizza is a must. So cheesy and flavorful. And don't forget the Brisket Nachos. Both items are perfect for sharing. For those who like seafood, I suggest the Shrimp Birria Tacos. Love this place, or I guess its a hole in the wall serving authentic street food. Its super small but the food is big on flavor!

I got the Birria brisket tacos for $18.50 and they were so flavor and delicious. A bit spicy. The service was quick and polite. There's no where to sit but we stood at the counter and ate without a problem. Spent $42 on two people so can get pricey depending on what you order. Would definitely come back here again!

Nicole took our order and she was great and friendly! We stumbled upon this hole in the wall Mexican place and it didn't disappoint. We ordered birria burrito which my son devoured, my husband and I each got the birria shrimp tacos and normally I never finish my food and kid you not 1 order came with 4 tacos and I ate it all up! It was so good! The consome had a lot of flavor! Only thing is don't expect to get seated since they only had counters and you'd have to stand while eating your food! But food was so good you wouldn't need to stand long anyway!

Tiny little spot in miami beach. anyone who is a foodie knows these are the places with the best food; the small tucked away restaurants. i walked here late the other night and tried their birria pizza and that the golden choice. didnt get the name of the guy working at the register but he was the OG, gave me a bunch of extra salsa verde for my meal. will be going back whenever i visit again. long live the tiny places

We was so excited to try this taco spot . They are known for their birria pizza and I can tell you it was flavorful and so cheesy. The cheese they use is so gooey. We also tried they shrimp taco it's also good , the sauce they put on it made it even better. We love horchata so we definitely got that with some lemonade they wasnt too sweet it was perfect. The staff? So chill and friendly. No doubt we're coming back for more. So if you ever hit up Miami Beach, make this spot a must-visit!

Found this gem while in Miami Beach! Cute little hole in the wall... Authentic Mexican cuisine. I had the Brisket Birria tacos. Excellent! The guacamole was incredible! Fresh ingredients! Stopped in for a late lunch. Service was fantastic! Mexican is my favorite and we will definitely be back!

Dulce Vida? Absolute BEST Birria tacos in the WORLD! Or at very least in the 305. The meat is delicious the sauce is delicious the people running the shop are incredibly sweet honestly the best grub after the beach! You cannot go wrong. Been waiting to try Birria Tacos for a long time Ana I'm glad I came to the right place for the first time. The owner is most welcoming and attentive and that's not something you come across a lot in South Beach. Place is small and no table or chairs but a countertop to dine in which is fine. I tried the Elote first in a cup and let me tell you that this is delicious , the combination of the sweet corn with the zest of the lime, saltiness of the cheese and the white cream is all an explosion of flavors. Now let's about about these Birria Tacos...this is what I expected but even better, the tacos alone are delicious, all four so it's not small portion, but the consomé is what takes these to a whole new level of yumminess. This is what one of those times where double dipping it's allowed lmao...but seriously though, no disappointment here at all. Needless to say I will be coming back for more when I'm in the area and sending friends over. read more

I have never had such delicious mexican food in my life. Cheap, quick, delicious, what more can you ask for?? Anything brisket is definitely worth it! But honestly, there's nothing bad on the menu. My stomach is growling just writing this review. YUM YUM YUM. read more

Seriously good flavor, why does it feel they cook it with love and we are just visiting the area?! We ordered steak tacos and shrimp tacos, they gave the green spicy salsa instead of requested red mild salsa and took away from the flavor, made me a little sweaty which is fine, my fiancé did not enjoy it as much. All in all, wrong salsa changed the experience and flavor but this place is worth it if you're in the area, recommend! read more

Wonderful tacos!! I was greedy! I had 8...couldn't help myself!!! As a native Californian, I'm incredibly picky and "judgey" when it comes to Mexican food. Most times it's a watered down interpretation oh Mexican foods. NOT DULCE VIDA!!! Bomb just Bomb!! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could, 5 for some real a** Mexican tacos and 5 stars for the wonderful, humble business owner!!! She's passionate, she cares, and I'm so proud of her story and how she's grown this wonderful restaurant from the ground up. My kid got the crazy nachos and was in heaven too!! I highly, highly recommend Dulce Vida!!! Just yum!!! read more

Need a fairly cheap place for tacos and Mexican quick eats this is the go to! Tucked right around the corner next to a little bodega is this hidden gem! We visited SB and basically ate here everyday. My friend fell in love with the shrimp tacos, by the time I decided to try it they ran out of shrimp so we ordered steak and chicken. I can only speak for the shrimp quesadilla I had which was pretty good and for the steak tacos which were delicious! I hate corn tortillas but the steak almost overpowered the corn to the point where it wasn't bad. The staff was so friendly and made it feel like you were just sitting in the kitchen chatting with cousins while you waited for food. read more

This place is overpriced for what it is, and partly because it's located in South Beach, but also because of the food. The onion slices are so big! Tienen que ser picadas en trozos pequeños, no del tamaño de una nuez... The tacos have very little meat, lots of onion, and the birria sauce is mostly water... The fries are definitely not worth $15. They're basic fries with store bought cheese and again large onion slices. read more

They're not bad, their birria tacos are very tasty actually. But for my taste, but greasy. I also don't like that they chop their white onions too thick, so even though it would add flavor, no matter how much you like onions, you'll end up opting not to have them. Ingredients are not finely chopped. But the Tacoma's are tasty. Is only good for take out, is a small hole in the wall, walk in type place. The workers are very friendly. They do have a restroom. I don't recommend ordering online because they do tend to make mistakes on online orders. Best bet is to pass by and grab to go. Is good after beach quick snack. read more

While i was visiting spring break in Miami, one of The fellas gave me a small menu to come visit. So being tho Mexican food is my favorite i definitely went. Now i had all negative things to say because first all there wasn't any seating .. they was in the process of switching out there chairs.. but we stayed anyways because the smell was sooooooo good. well anyway when i taste their foooddddd. I forgot i was standing and eating!!! I ate from all 6 of my sisters plate.. man it was THE BOMB.. I got the birria quesadilla with a side of sour cream and loved it, it was flavorful and cheesy. I liked it so much I went back the next day to get it again but wasn't as good. The cook Didn't put as much care into making it the first time. I know because It came out way faster and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. It was still good but not the same. Newly open place ran by owners who are passionate! Tacos seem great but they only had chicken and beef when we came. Got the pollo tinga tacos but was served simple unmarinated grilled chicken and not the pollo Tinga(pulled marinated chicken) which was shown on the menu. My wife got veggie tostadas which were literally all shredded mozzarella cheese, which was odd since usually it has cotija plus a decent amount of grilled veggies. We also ordered elote, which comes in a cup form and we saw pictures before but when we got it it was drenched in mayo and sour cream with no spice. New place with awesome owners but food needs to be worked on. read more

Ok soooo...... Visiting Miami I wanted to find an authentic Mexican place and found this spot. The service was great, and the food was amazing. I had the shrimp Mexican cocktail en vaso and it's the best I've had in a long time. The sauce has a little kick to it but it was just right. If you're looking for great Mexican food, you should try this place. I highly recommend it. read more

For lunch at work we wanted to try this place out. Someone brought the menu in to the office the day before and we were excited. It looked like authentic mexican tacos at affordable prices (which is not easy to come by in South Beach). The place is tiny and has tons of charm. The owners and staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. I ordered the steak tacos, they had the 4 tacos for $10.00 deal. They were prepared perfectly with corn tortillas, onions, cilantro and no cheese. THEY WERE YUMMY!! I also tried my co-workers guacamole and chips. The guac tasted very fresh. I'm definately ordering that again!!! Next time I go, I want to try the elote and the tostada's. They looked amazing and they give you two for $9.00. I'm rooting for this place, because we need more affordable eating places on the beach that don't skimp out on taste. Can't wait to go back. read more

I had a steak burrito and it was really good, I was pleasantly surprised to see everything being made fresh and the ingredients being very homemade style. I went during their 4 for $10 taco special and I will definitely be coming again to try that out since it's just a deal you can't miss! We were looking for fish tacos for supper and read some positive reviews about Dulce Vida so decided to give it a try. The owner is the friendliest person we met while in Miami and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The tacos were delicious, very fresh. We also ordered guac and chips. The guac was made to order and was some of the best I've ever had. read more

This restaurant is beyond amazing. Everything from the birria tacos to the quesadillas tasted spectacular. The food came in a timely manner and was to die for! The owners are also so kind to the customers. Definitely one of the best mexican restaurants in the area. I cant wait to come back again. Everyone needs to come here and try the food! read more

Amazing authentic Mexican food. Came to south beach and luckily found this restaurant. Ate almost most of the menu and everything tastes fresh and well cooked. Would love to live in the area just to come here. And the prices are tough to beat! Staff and owner are amazing people and give an unbelievable experience. Definitely coming back! read more

It was delicious!! My family and I were looking for something quick and new to eat and found this wonderful location! My chicken tacos were so good and the rest of my family can agree. I most definitely recommend they're Biris chicken tacos with cheese. But overall the food was delicious and i will most definitely be back for more. :) read more

This is why I used Yelp. First lunch in Southbeach was 60$ usd for a drink and a bugger ‍. I'm glad I discover Dulce Vida. Little spot with home made fresh Mexican food. The girls that took the order was very friendly and helpful. I recommend and will repeat the visit as well. Very reasonable prices lIke half price of other places! read more

Best street tacos outside of Los Angeles by far. The owner is so sweet and friendly and the prices are ridiculously affordable for Miami Beach. Would definitely recommend the brisket tacos which are not traditional but mixes the owners Texas upbringing with more familiar flavors and are really tasty. Hands down would go here again! read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past it and looks hole in the wall but wow the food was fresh and tasted amazingly delicious. Don't you dare miss it without giving it a try. The food is authentic & light , makes you full not like other places where if you eat all you end up getting bloated .. Try it and thank me later. read more
