If you're looking for an alternative to Bake and Che, I highly recommend checking this place out, especially the pandan coconut dessert drink! Limited seating inside but plenty of parking!
Corn Pandan is very flavorful. I ordered less sweet but it's still a bit too sweet for my taste. The place is clean and simple in design.

Must try: House Special Che! Why: It has a little bit of sweet everything with a scoop of creamy Durian Ice Cream on top! Various textures from soft chewy to crunchy. Flavor blast in your mouth that's creamy and sweet. Great refreshing treat for a hot day. I'm so glad a friend recommended this place because my parents also loved it and it's our fav Vietnamese dessert place right now. We appreciated the short and wide cup base to make it easier to enjoy. They can also do ice on the side in separate cup. Writing this up makes me want to drive and get another one!
Off the 22, Dulche is a small desserts shop, specifically che, which is a Vietnamese dessert. They make a good variety of different options, and it's pretty quick. I got the pandan coconut, since I really enjoy pandan. One of my favorite toppings are the red rubies, so I got some on the side for 90 cents. Altogether it's super refreshing for the summer heat and the toppings all complement each other with their textures and flavors they add!
I've been looking for new Chè spots in OC and this place did not disappoint! Place is clean and sleek, and the workers were nice and quick We ended up getting the Pandan coconut Che that includes Creamy pandan milk layered with pandan and coconut jelly with a bit of mung bean paste. We also got crunchy rubies on the side to add a good crunch! This dessert is more on the sweeter side but it's super refreshing. I'd definitely come back here again to try out other dessert combos they have :)
Dulche is a small Vietnamese dessert shop located in the midsts of Garden Grove. Today, my girlfriend and I wanted to treat ourselves to dessert since the weather was on the warmer side. The shop is small but very clean and nicely designed. There are two tables in the middle and seats on the sides as well for people who want to sit down and enjoy a nice treat. We got the Pandan Coconut Che (the green one) and the Mango Pomelo Che. They were both delicious! The Pandan Coconut Che has a strong Pandan flavor with green jellies of various sizes. It also has pieces of fresh coconut! It's sweet, refreshing, and definitely for people who enjoy the taste of Pandan. The Mango Pomelo Che was the perfect combination of sweet and refreshing. The taste of mango was definitely present and inside were pieces of coconut, and many, many different varieties of jellies that complement the dessert perfectly. Would come back on a hot day!
This is niceeee. The chẻ was really well made. I think the only lacking ingredient were the water chestnuts. It was be nice if there was an order board so you know when yours is ready. But there's not a huge line so it's fine. Service is lackadaisical, though I expected as much. The tables were clean enough and the place looks vibrant.

My little family was in the area and I was initially Yelping to find a boba spot but Dulche popped up and after seeing the menu and photos I was super curious about Dulche. We made it with 15 minutes to spare before closing. Staff were really nice and friendly. Ordered: Pandan Coconut Mango Pomelo Che Gyokuro Green Milk Tea Honestly, I really enjoyed all of the items we ordered. You can customize the sweetness level but I ordered everything regular sweet and thought it tasted fine. The flavors were on point and really hit the spot. The sweet cravings I needed to cap off the night was satisfied with Dulche. 2 thumbs up from this Yelper. We definitely will be back next time because there are other things on the menu I want to try. Super excited for my return. If you love Vietnamese dessert with a modern take, this spot is your spot to check out! A nice little Vietnamese dessert spot on Garden Grove Blvd. It has a nice simple white modern aesthetic with green accents. They offer both Vietnamese ché and drinks. I ordered the Pandan coconut which was just the right amount of sweetness. The cashier was very nice and offered different suggestions. I do want to try their classic tricolor next!
This is the perfect dessert to cool off on a hot day. Mango pomelo Che $8 - the pomelo wasn't as sweet but it balanced with the other sweet elements. I wasn't a big fan of the coconut pudding (?), it was a bit slimy. Pandan coconut Che $7 - my favorite!
Found this little gem and I'm obsessed. I love anything pandan, and their pandan coconut chè is so good -- you can actually taste the pandan. The ambience is cozy and cute, and the staff is friendly. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

Was excited to try but a big disappointment for me. I ordered two #2 tri color and one #7 corn pandan. The girl charged only two and forgot the third. Had to run my card twice. For $7 a cup plus tax and tip, it's quite small. The cups are a bit fatter but short and full of ice. I took a photo of the #2 and #7. The yellow in the photo popped out and I'm excited to try my "corn" and pandan. When I got home, they all slightly melted and I couldn't tell them apart. I would recommend that the shop place tags on the cup so we know which is which. When I finally took a bite, what I thought was "corn" was mung bean. Taking a closer look, I don't think I got #7 corn pandan but I got #1. It had a bunch of other stuff like white and green jelly, red chestnut that I'm not a fan of. It had mostly green jelly in the shape of the green pandan. Didn't appreciate that because I felt tricked. The menu also seem to rotate. I came in thinking I wanted avocado based on previous reviews but that was no longer on the menu, seems like it got replaced by the corn pandan. There are so many chè places that I would not go back due to my experience. The parking lot is also not the best when you have a few restaurants open late nearby. One positive note is that the chè wasn't overly sweet. read more

Dulche just opened and has a cute little coffee shop vibe but serves che. I got the suong sao, hat luu, banh lot. I liked that it wasn't super sweet but i hated that there was popping boba in it. It was about $7 for che which is kinda expensive compared to che from your good ole hole in the wall, but not compared to boba shops. I'll be back but maybe will ask for them to leave out the popping boba. Overall, i wanna say this is ~3.5 but rounding to 4. read more
The cup containers for this place are so cute! I came here for the house special Che and it was delicious. The service was also quick and the staff was friendly. We 1st had the grass jelly with ruby. We barely got out of the parking lot and had to come back for another one. We then ordered the 3 color. Both were very satisfying. Will definitely come back for more. The service is good and the ambiance was clean. read more

It was a pretty spacious interior. I thought that our che was okay. It was more of a drink than a che. I feel like it didn't have as much toppings as a normal che would have. read more
I was excited for a new che place in town. Parking was easy here. The decor in this store is a little weird but I'm sure they just haven't fully set up yet. There's quite a few small tables for dining in. I think they had a backlog from the orders in front of mine but it didn't take too long for my dessert to come out. I ordered the corn pandan che and it was very refreshing and sweet. I liked that you could adjust sugar and ice levels. read more

Tried the newly opened Dulche in Garden Grove and ordered the traditional chè ba màu. I went with 50% sweetness and it was just right, not too sweet, really balanced. My only critique is that the ice chips were a little too large and took up about half the volume of my cup, and the mung bean portion was so small that it was hard to see or taste it in the dessert. The shop itself is new, clean, and inviting. There's limited seating inside and we had a hard time finding a place to sit and enjoy the chè as there were a lot of people inside waiting for their orders and they took up all the available tables. read more

Wow just WOW. If you like assortment of foods, desserts or drinks, this is all in one drink. The cultural drinks are my fav and I picked the Pandan Grass Jelly. I haven't had grass jelly in years and it's hard to come across it. The service was quick and easy and I received a complimentary milk green tea as well! Not to mention this was my first time here. Extremely love the service and the desserts! One of my cups' lid wasn't closing right and spilled in the bag. I brought it back and they remade both desserts without hesitation. Definitely give this place a try if you get the chance! read more

Saw this dessert place on social media and I knew I had to try, because I was craving che. This location is tucked away in a relatively busy plaza, but you should be able to find parking regardless - there are many restaurants nearby. The interior is cozy, similar to a cafe. Our dessert (the Pandan Coconut Che) was out within 5 minutes of us ordering. Although we waited awhile to enjoy our che, it was still delicious and flavorful. The pandan flavor complements the toppings inside - it feels fresh and light on the palate. Will most definitely be returning soon! read more

Growing up in Vietnam I have a lot of experience with good Che. This place is very good and very clean. The interior is tidy and minimalistic with great lighting and lots of windows. Good place to study as there are a lot of outlets by the tables. The drinks were great and so was the milk tea. The server was really good and understanding and she broke the menu down for us. The Che with durian #1 on the list menu is the BEST!! Not too sweet, perfect balance in flavor along with the jelly. But be careful, if you are allergic to peanut! Because this drink has nuts in it, and the person will let you know about it, but you still need to be aware of it. The store is not big, the seating area is only inside, consist of 6-7 tables? So good enough for 15-20 people inside, otherwise it will be very crowded. The service is very fast, and so far the person in the front is nice and very helpful. This Che drink is very addicting for me, especially when they use a real durian and the amount they give you is a good amount size. Go try it! read more

I got the #1 house special w durian and #7 corn pandan. I prefer the #7. The corn is subtle but you can taste it. It was a full house but service was pretty quick. I wished their ice was smaller like Bambu tho cuz this one's too chunky and it gets in the way. read more

I thought I wrote a review for this place. This place is cute, the workers were friendly, but I really wish the menu had a bit more description for those of us who aren't super familiar with the different ches! Inside is very cute, the furniture is unique. I think it would be a fun place to hang with my friends if they were nearby. I think it would help to have some background music on. The AC was also not on, but I get it times are tough $$. Otherwise my che - I felt - was too sweet! The travesty. The tiny cup, maybe if it was taller or had more ice so it could melt better into the sugary coconut milk. The toppings took up half the cup. I liked the little balls and the water chestnuts were small but that's to be expected. My BFs milk tea was delicious, but again too sweet. This is coming from someone who eats very sweet and salty things. I order a lot of dessert, I eat a lot of different Viet/che/thai etc type things. Maybe Dulce isn't my jam... sadly. But my palette thinking its too sweet doesn't mean you shouldn't come try their drinks. I love supporting small businesses and it is super cute, good price, and overall very much a unique delicious dessert. Made me miss BamBu. read more

The food is delicious, no doubt about it. We got their house special which is awesome if you like durian. We also got the pandan which also was delicious. The ingredients are individually tasty with what should be soft being soft and what's supposed to be a little chewy being chewy. The base liquid is delicious to begin with so that's probably why it was so good. Someone mentioned not liking it as much because there are no beans, but my husband actually doesn't like beans so this was perfect for us. The service was friendly, fast and efficient. The decor was great at showing what food they offer with pictures. The place had plenty of customers but not so much that there were no seats available. What threw me off was the sign that said to ask how to get a free drink. We asked and were told that if we did a 5 star review on yelp and showed it to them we can get the free drink. Being a Yelp elite, I take pride in being honest so I didn't want to do that and wanted to give the review after I tried the food first. We took it to go so I'm writing this the day after. My husband isn't a stickler so he did it and so he got the free drink, which was pretty good. What annoyed me was that they read the review first to make sure he gave them the 5 stars and probably that it was a good review. I'm all for getting a treat for writing a review but not when they specifically ask for a 5 star review. It makes me suspicious and not trusting the reviews of the place. Anyway, you can trust my review because I didn't get the free drink just so I can be honest. We will be back so yes I recommend them for their food. Would hope that they will not require a 5 star review to give out their freebie next time and be satisfied with getting a review read more

One of the surprising things here is the sweetness level can be adjusted for most of their desserts! We got to try some great desserts and drinks - House special chè (great for durian lovers) - Corn pandan chè (perfect for anyone who loves corn lattes) - Coconut smash (refreshing and nutty flavor) Drinks: - Gyokuro green milk tea with rubies topping. Super unique chè topping but in the drink was such a nice surprise. Had a small crunch but still a bit chewy like boba - Mango green tea. Perfect classic and a great balance to enjoy with the dessert! Service was quick, and the place was really cute. Staff were super helpful! Love it! read more
