Overpriced, nothing special, and cheaply made. I was really disappointed with the Chè Thái, especially for the price. The portion may look colorful, but most of it consisted of inexpensive jelly and agar, with very little of the ingredients I actually expect in Chè Thái. Mine had maybe two longans and just a few small pieces of jackfruit. It felt like the more substantial ingredients were used very sparingly while the cup was filled out with jelly. Chè Ba Màu and Pandan did not stand out as well. Based on the three Chè I got, I wouldn't return. At close to $8, I expected much better quality and a more generous amount of the ingredients that make Chè Thái worth ordering. Unfortunately, this felt overpriced and cheaply made. read more

My family has gone to this che location several times now and we love it! The staff are super sweet and the vibe is very welcoming. I love che so much but it's so hard to find near me, so I end up driving all the way to Garden Grove every time I have a che craving. I like to try new places every time, and I can say that Dulche is one of the best I've tried! Got the corn milk one which I've never seen before, and it was so good I loved the corn flavor with all the toppings. I also think jackfruit is mandatory for che so I got an order of it on the side so good. I wish this place was closer but am slightly glad I'm not bc I'd be here everyday I need a pick me up, which is every day. The che is oh so GOOD & since they offer flavors outside the norm, it was more exciting to explore the menu. The store is very cute & parking is fair, but one thing to complain about is that it was REALLY hot in the store. Hotter than outside in the daylight. I don't know how the workers & anyone else in the store weren't sweating. It also smelled like my dog's paws, which was actually endearing bc it made me think of her the whole time I was in there. Dessert was GOOOOOOD. So many great options. We got everything to go but I got the mango+pomelo. Loved the balance of biting on bitter/tangy pomelo pulp & sweet squishy jelly. No obvious artificial flavorings that were off putting. Every sip & bite was delightful. It was also fun when I noticed there was liquid mochi in there but also felt like gooey mucus (so could be a hit or miss texture for some). I would probably get this flavor again next time esp when craving something more like a drink. My dad really liked the corn one; said it was "not too sweet". My mom liked the coconut one but said it was a lil too sweet for her. Dulché is a cute ché joint towards one end of the Hanmi plaza strip mall. The dessert spot is small on the inside, with a handful of tables & chairs. There isn't much fancy decor, maybe a fake/real plant in the front window corner & just advertisement pics of their ché decorating the walls. The menu is pretty minimal..think like In-n-Out ~ a few items (and drinks), but made with great quality. The staff was friendly and efficient taking our order. The hubs & I were still full from our dinner, so we opt'd to share a dessert. Our go-to is always the Ché Ba Maù aka Tricolor Ché. It was odd that they don't offer red beans in their dessert which is usually a staple ingredient of the ché, so that's one thing that I felt was missing. Otherwise, the ché was excellent. Not a crazy amount of ice, leaving you little dessert. The coconut milk wasn't overly sweet. Everything else married perfectly. For the size and $8 price tag however, idk if it's a repeater for me. Being in Vietville, there are PLENTY of other ché places for cheaper and with the same flavors AND red bean! Lol Dulché was a good try and it satisfied my sweet tooth for the night. They don't do any baked desserts and are strictly just a che place. However, they have a great variety including your typical house special and che thai. But they also have pandan, corn, and coconut specialty ones. Their portion is bigger than other places and one is shareable. I love that they don't put in too much ice and isn't too overly sweet. The only thing I don't like was there were no spoons only straws. I ended up getting two for me and my mom. I found Dulche to probably be the most affordable if you compare it to other che places. Corn Pandan Chè: very corny but not too sweet so it was well balanced. Almost like the chè thái but with corn flavor. Chè Thái: more ice but it was decent. Definitely the weaker of the three. It was almost the most basic one if you're going simple. King Phoenix Oolong: pretty solid with good tea flavor. Ask for less sweet because it was still 75% sugar level. Gyokuro Milk Tea: strong green tea without the bitterness. Just as tasty as the King Phoenix. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a better version of Bake & Chè. read more
