When we first checked in at this place we told the girl at the front we wanted the booth and she asked twice if I wanted table. That was weird ! Then we sat down and ordered chicken steamed dumpling and combination fried rice . When the food arrived we realized it was fried dumpling . After we told her about it she was like it's the same . My and my husband looked at each other and we were like Umm no we order steamed . She was like do you not like it ? I was like not really we only want the steam one . Fried rice was okay but we didn't like the chicken dumplings and mushroom it was tasteless . The red chili sauce tasted like it was rotten . Not once server came to ask if we wanted water or how was the food but kept staring .. we felt uncomfortable. Then the girl walked up to the table looking at the plate that was filled with dumpling and goes can I take that ? I was like no we are still eating . She didn't bother to ask how was the food or if we need to refill the cup for water . She came back again and place the check on table and return to pick up the Check. I've been here a couple of times now and have really enjoyed everything we've tried so far. You must order the soup dumplings, they are delicious and also fun to eat. Pork and chive potstickers are great, the noodle dishes are made with fresh rice noodles and other dishes like general chicken have been great also. read more

Went to lunch there with my mom, it was delicious. We started with the pork/green onion steamed dumplings. They were fantastic. Then we did the green onion pancakes and shared the Singapore noodles. It was the best Singapore noodles I have had a Frisco. They were so so full of flavor. I highly recommend this place. read more

We used to be regular customers at this place, but won't go again. My colleagues and I went here for lunch. I found a thumb size thick plastic in my soup dumpling, disgusting a lady who looks like store manager said she would replace with a new order of soup dumpling($10) for me. I told her I don't want it anymore and I would just finish the fried tofu I had. Then she asked me to order something else, saying she wanted to make it right for me. I told her I'm running out of time, my colleagues almost finish lunch. She said she would bring the food to me in 7 mins. With her insistence and not leaving our table, I ordered steam pork scallop dumplings($12) When she served the dumplings, she said she won't charge, but the final bill includes both fried tofu and soup dumpling. I told the waiter that his manager said she won't charge, but the waiter said manager told him not to charge the $2 difference. Wow, that's how you make things right for your customer? I don't trust the food quality here anymore and the customer service is awful. There are many other good dumpling places in Plano/Frisco. Don't go to this one. read more

I never had the worst soup dumplings and steam buns in my life. All I tasted was vinager the entire time and everything was wet and sauggy. The only that decent was was the decor and how modern it looks but over all with 6 chefs at the window you would imagine it be pulled off correctly. Wtf. read more

Atmosphere was very calming, polite staff, food came out very quickly (despite being the middle of a lunch rush on a Saturday) but the food. OMG. my brother and I had the shrimp friend rice 10/10 we shared the hot & sour soup 8/10 but the pork and shrimp dumplings? oh my goodness. we ordered the fried dumplings, and they have one crispy side on them...and I'm not sure what it was about that flavor, but it was amazing. it really took me back to my childhood when my mom would cook Filipino food for if I could rate higher than a 5 star, I would. definitely will be telling my friends and family about this place!!! read more

my mom and i went to eat lunch. impatient and rude waiters. they took the bill from us too soon, and we had not finished writing it. manager came out and personally asked us to tip. we were taken aback, and proceeded to leave the restaurant and the manager followed us. he made a scene outside and started yelling at us telling us we have to pay for service, quite frankly forcing it out of us. politely, i kept trying to end the conversation and get to my car but he would not let it go. i ended up just walking away quickly. read more

My family were excited to try this restaurant. We came in to eat and celebrate my brother for his 23rd birthday. Unfortunately, we never got to try the food because we were highly disrespected bu our server. First, my mother requested to be seated in a different area because she has menopause and the area we were sitting was warm due to the lighting. The server told my mother he could not sit us in another area due to the restaurant closing at a certain time. (Not sure how that makes a difference on whether a table gets cleaned or not.) My mother didn't make a fuss she just came back to the table and chose a seat with less direct lighting. The next issue came when the server asked for our drink order. Everyone order just a simple water because we like water. Well this seemed to disturb the server; at least it appeared that way. He made a sound out of this mouth as though he was upset. With my mothers order she asked for a bowl of lemons with her water. Well our pessimistic server brought her out a bowl with One lemon inside. So, I asked if he would bring her more lemons. He grabbed the bowl and went to get more, not before looking back at the table with a look of disgust. When he came back with the lemons, he sat them down and slid them across the table in the most disgusting way. In that moment, I decided I was done. We ended up leaving, so I never got to actually try their food. I gave them 2 stars, only because of the kind server that offered to take over our table. This was a terrible experience. read more

Excellent service! Two waitresses explained the menu and made wonderful recommendations. I enjoyed the steamed buns and wonton soup.

First of all, the restaurant was clean (restrooms and all). This is extremely important to me since first impressions affect how much I enjoy my dine in experience. The customer service was good and the waiter and waitress answered any questions I had. Most importantly, the food tasted very good. We had the G9 and a few of their dumplings. All orders were savory but slightly salty for my palate. I think I'll order more rice next time to help balance the saltiness. Overall, my experience was great here and I would definitely make this my primary restaurant for Chinese food/dumplings. read more

I really wanted to love this place but I was so disappointed. I ordered pan fried pork dumplings, pork buns, jalapeño chicken lo mein, crab Rangoon, and general Tso chicken with fried rice. The highlights were the rice and lo mein noodles, but the noodles didn't have jalapeños. I was so disappointed with the dumplings as they had a weird flavor, and the pork buns were very bland. As for the general tso chicken, it was probably the worst I've ever had. The chicken itself was very soggy and the sauce was runny. I didn't end up eating all of it. The crab Rangoons were okay. So I was pretty bummed out that i spent a lot of money on this food and ended up not liking most of it. I would say to skip on this place and try something else. read more

First things first, I was excited that another Dumpling House opened, which is a closer proximity to my house compared to the Plano one. The interior was very nice, however I was very disappointed with their service. First their cups were very dirty, almost like they weren't even washed. We asked the waiter to change the cup, however he didn't even apologize for his own mistake, he just said "you want a new cup?" His response to our complaint was very unprofessional and we did not feel like he cared about the dirty cup, especially during this time of a pandemic. Overall the food was decent but the one in Plano seems to be better. Never visiting the Frisco store ever again. read more

We had such an awful experience here today... - They only had 2 high chairs in the entire restaurant and so we had to hold my 13 month old because she's too young to sit in a regular chair - They only had 3 menus total for the 4 adults and 2 children at our table - We ordered soup to start and it never came - When our entrees arrived, we asked for forks and the food runner said "oh, your waitress will get that for you". So we asked our waitress for forks and she never got them. So I got up holding my 13 month old and went to the server hutch to get forks for the family. - I ordered fried rice with my dish and no fried rice ever came - My dish (the golden garlic beef) was sitting in oil. It wasn't a garlic sauce, it was just a vat of oil. If I had eaten it, I would have gotten sick. - My FIL ordered General Tao's and it was the most "sweet and sour" and orange looking General's we've ever had and the red peppers were soggy and rotten - Our waitress never once refilled our waters or iced tea - I had to go find her and ask her for our check and to remove my awful dish (that I only received half of) so that we could leave Stay away from here! The service is really bad, if you have party of 6 and more, they will charge you 18% service, they don't care what you are asking. We asked for water refill, the waiter just said wait for a second and we waited for 10 minutes still no service, I went to the front desk for water pitcher that I can refill myself, the waiter told me "I told you I will come". What kind of the service is that?! Never experience this kind of service in restaurant. If you don't care service, don't care they charge 18% and bad service, go try it! read more

Really good chicken fried rice and the soup dumplings were delicious. The portions are pretty big too, I got the Kung pao chicken lunch special and wasn't able to finish it. The sauce on it was pretty thick and sweeter than I woulda liked it but good overall. Wouldn't mind going back. read more
