Someone came out with our food and I sent our payment via Venmo. Husband and I got the sandwich, two iced coffees, corn, large salad and it was DELICIOUS. The portions are pretty substantial and I think a small salad would have sufficed. Will definitely be back!

I called to place order. Got a recording. Got a return call confirming my order. Found it's better to text with C6 or F7 unless one can speak Vietnamese. Main associate lacks English proficiency. Much easier for her to get "code" Place was an easy find. Street parking slightly difficult. Unknown if parking in their lot is permissible. Went towards big building on the right . Found unit with "Taste of Asia" brochure on window. Just before the gate. Bingo! Stood in front of open door until Vietnamese lady came out with my order. $21 cash. Unknown if Zelle has tax added to it. Tipped a little. Lady hesitated to give change. Offerings (Vietnamese): street food, drinks, coffee. Sips: Cafe Muoi Bien (sea salt foam Vietnamese coffee, 7)-Viet coffee, sea salt foam, condensed milk. -coffee didn't look full. No doubt foam on top shrank/mixed into coffee. -bold coffee with alternating sweet & salty tastes depending on sipping foam or condensed milk. Bites: Banh Trang Cuon (Vietnamese Special roll, 14). There's also a salad version with same ingredients & no wrapping. -dipping sauce had sweet & savory notes. -rice roll had dominant theme of beef jerky. The surrounding nuanced taste was a symphonic medley of carrots, quarter sectioned boiled eggs, coriander, green mango, dried shrimp, fried onions, peanuts & green mangos, 5 stars Worthy! Quality: freshly premade. Quantiy: ample enough for a meal. Would repeat. *Taste of Asia "passport" given to win prizes from buying from food vendors in Oakland Chinatown & San Leandro Asian businesses. They cook these over charcoal and the chicken is spatchcocked. (split in half) I was expecting for them to pull chicken off the grill but instead, they pulled them from a cooler. Evidently they cook them up and chop up into the strangest sized pieces and throw in coolers. I had no idea what we were eating. The half rack of ribs was all the gristel and cartilage cut off the ends. I received no bones and very little meat connected to the cartilage. So now they don't have anything to feed their dogs.

Please do not conduct business with this person. I communicated with him in May, we settled on a menu, the logistics, etc. I sent him a $200 deposit for what was going to be a total of $450 for a taquiza for 40 people. One week prior to the event which was held on June 12th, I text him to make sure we were good to go. No response. I text him twice a day every day for a week and he did not respond. I called several times and it went straight to voicemail. I even had other people call or text from different numbers to see if this would entice him to respond. Nothing. What's done is done, I asked him for my money back but I'm sure I won't hear back. I can't stress this enough: Please do not conduct business with this man.

I had a house party for the 4th of July and wanted to keep cooking to a minimum and decided to contact Jose. He was extremely pleasant and very professional. Not to mention the tacos were delicious. He gave me the best rate and showed up early to set up. I was thrilled that he was willing to do a night party (7-11pm) on a Holiday. He allowed me to choose 3 types of meat, and brought onions, cilantro, limes and 3 salsas. Everyone was more than satisfied with his service and I will definitely hire him for my next party. Don't be afraid to contact him. He works all over the bay area.

The prawns with walnuts were priced well, and the cucumber salad came in a big portion. The calamari wasn't my thing since it was fresh squid instead of the fried version I'm used to, but that's probably on me for not checking. Service has been great every time. The clay pots take about 20 minutes since they're made to order, so it's not super fast, but it's worth the wait. The restaurant is clean, and they let us know that the tea costs extra, which we appreciated. I think the tea helps balance out the saltier dishes. This is becoming one of our regular spots!

Overall, the place was decorated very well and relaxing. The staff were quick to greet us and take our orders, although ordering is also possible through a QR code. The Gold Spicy Soup definitely packs a kick; be ready for a tasty dish with coughs on the side if you're a soup drinker - this soup don't play!
