The vacuum packed sticky corns are very good! They taste firm, sweet, and no big difference from fresh ones. The price is good.

They double charge if youre not paying attention. Thats probably why their stuff are $1 or 2 cheaper than other stores.

Hidden gem in San Leandro. It's a mini Costco version of Asian grocers.

This is the restaurant of choice for my wife's family gatherings, and she has a pretty big family,…read moreso we're here quite a bit. To be honest, Fusion used to be terrible, and I used to absolutely hate coming here. Food was slow in coming, what came out was often cold, the dining room was loud, and service was impersonal, at best. On one visit, half the menu was unavailable, requested silverware was crooked, and numerous glasses, bowls, and plates were chipped or damaged. On another visit, I saw multiple families sneak out of the restaurant, walk to McDonald's across the plaza, and smuggle food back in to tide them over until their orders came. After a while, I wasn't alone in meeting the decree of, "come to Fusion on Saturday," with a groan. However, when HL Peninsula opened in Castro Valley and established itself as a threat to Fusion's business, it served as a wake-up call. Food immediately got better (from "below-average" to "know what to order and you'll be fine"), the speed of service improved, and food temperature became consistent and proper. It's not QUITE a "different restaurant" feel, and there are still some negatives. It's still loud and service could still be better (there have been times where chicken wings have taken over an hour to come out, which is a "should not occur"). However, at least I don't dread coming here anymore.

No water. No English. Brought out a beer and didn't know that it needed a cold glass. It was a huge place, packed on a Thursday night, with less than a handful of wait staff. One of the dishes we ordered was the marinated cucumber dish, which didn't have any chili oil in the picture but arrived drenched in it.

We got there around 7pm on a Friday. It was busy but we got sat pretty quickly. We ordered 2 miso soups, tofu, fatty combo sashimi, and 2 rolls. After about 30-45 min, we received our tea, miso soups, and the tofu appetizer. After about an hour, we got our sashimi. And after sitting for another 30 min, we decided it was time to cancel the rest and get our check. All the other tables were getting their food and we were just sitting there waiting. Waiting that long for food is unacceptable. And after all that, all we got was a sorry and "here's a 10% discount card for next time." I don't think there will be a next time.

Several laminated pages front and back. We gravitated toward the lunch section. Ordered - * hubby got the tonkatsu ramen * I got the two items bento box - comes with miso soup and side salad. Chicken katsu and California roll. Pros: * hubby & BIL were very pleased with their ramen noodles. * I got eight pieces of California roll. Very plumb pieces. * sis enjoyed her bento box * water refilled Cons: * had to request wasabi. Both sis & I had bentos. Usually there's a dollop in the box. * my chicken katsu breading - was it panko? * my tonkatsu sauce - watery & lacked umami Service was friendly and we got two separate checks as requested. Private parking lot on site.

Finally got my craving satisfied! I love coming to these places for the signature sizzling plates…read more I ordered the beef rice. It came with thin slices of beef, rice, corn, and green onion. It was super delicious. I love the garlic soy sauce and teriyaki sauce! I poured on the sauce all over while its cooking to get all that flavor. I like it when the rice gets a little crispy on the bottom as well. This place is located in a hole in the wall kind of restaurant on a old strip mall. There is good amount of parking. The waitress was very friendly and food came out really quick. My family were only there for about 30 min including ordering, waiting for food, and eating. They also have hawaiian food that looked really good too.

Sorry, the #1 reason for the low rating is due to the excess smoke. It was just hard to breathe and…read moreeat when the room was filled with smoke. Quality/Quantity - This has been booked marked for a while to visit. Overall the food was okay, but NO ventilation?!?! All foods come out on a piping hot sizzling cast iron platter which smoked up the place! I feel sorry for the waitress. Korean BBQ restaurants have ventilation on each table which would make a slightly more comfortable environment. Salmon & Rib Eye Yakiniku with Rice - My wife enjoyed it and actually finished her entire entree. Decent flavors. The quantity is for 1 person. Chicken Garlic Butter Egg Noodles - Substituted rice with egg noodles for $1 more. Well these are NOT egg noodles in my opinion. More like ramen noodles...? Anyway, it had decent quantities of chicken. I had to give 25% of it to my daughter. Well, we ended up taking the leftover chicken with her leftover beef home. Beef Udon. Add Kimchi + $1.50 - Again, with good flavors. The udon noodles were of good quality. Generous beef that we/she took her leftovers to-go. Ambiance - A very small location. I think there are just 7 tables. And because this place was so small, the smoke from the sizzling platters filled up the place. Open 6 days a week. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good. Price - $56 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2019. Are you a franchise?

We went yesterday because we had family visiting and wanted to treat them to an authentic Filipino meal. We spent over $200 and tipped well. They were happy with the food, and enjoyed the portions, but the service was pretty lacking. We were the only table there. The did not check on us at all. We had to ask for water to be refilled. When it came time to take food to go, we had to ask for the container, bags, and the right sized containers and the right sized bags. The older woman with the jet black hair was the one who rude and dismissive. When I asked her for a larger bag, she said that was the largest one. I pointed out that we gave them a very generous tip and that I see larger brown bags, but she still did not offer me one. She was very defensive, and said she thought I was referring to a plastic bag. Folks, don't make the mistake of over tipping here. You don't get the service you expect and deserve. The food is good though, but the service sucks! We spent, with the tip, about $240.

Would recommend if you're looking to splurge on food.

Avoid this location and go to the Piedmont location instead…read more I used to go to the Piedmont location multiple times a week and honestly would still go out of my way to go there to this day because of the amazing service. Johnny Bravo and the rest of the staff there always made customers feel welcomed, appreciated, and taken care of. I've even met up with friends there just because the atmosphere and service were that good. Maybe it's because the owners are always present at the Piedmont location, but the difference between these two locations is night and day. After moving, the East Fourteen location became the closest to me, so I expected the same level of customer service. Unfortunately, I've had the complete opposite experience every single time I've gone there. The girl who opened on May 16, 2026 was once again rude, cold, and hostile for absolutely no reason. She never greets me, never says hello, never asks how she can help me. I always have to speak first because she acts bothered the second I walk in. That is some of the worst customer service I've experienced anywhere. I tipped the first time, but after consistently bad service, I stopped. The food used to make the trip worth it, even though this location always seems noticeably saltier, but dealing with salty attitudes on top of salty food is enough for me to never come back. To make things worse, I always order the exact same thing, and today they still managed to leave items out of my order and didn't give me everything I paid for. This employee seriously needs customer service training and needs to learn the bare minimum of acknowledging and respecting customers. Customers are the reason employees have jobs in the first place. I will not be returning to this location.
