Michelle is the store manager. If you see them, say Hi and tell them what you think of the drinks. They recently had their grand opening and plan to have food collaborations in the future. For this weekend, the food colloboration will be french macarons. Can't wait to check it out. Employees are friendly and welcoming. You can choose to have less sugar or ice for your drink. If you want toppings (ie boba, cookie crumble, espresso shot, or other items), there is an additional cost. Right now they only serve drinks and no food yet (need to wait for the license, reason for the food collaboration). They also have boba tea plushies if you're interested. Go check them out.

You see, Glenn Wayne Bakery is an outstanding spot in Bohemia that you can acquire plenty of delicious baked goods. Though the focal point (other than maybe the "Oops" boxes) has to be their donuts. They will put almost any other specialty donut shop to shame (Dunkin' can't even be in the same sentence). But this review isn't about GWB. We're focusing solely on that new Selden spot that features just Glenn's Donuts. The interior of this location itself is of decent size with plenty of donut options just like at the OG bakery. You'll notice different prepackaged combinations with an assortment of tasty choices as well as some non-donut baked goods. Best part is everything is made at the Glenn Wayne Bakery in Bohemia that morning and then delivered here. Plus you get the same friendly staff you'd find over at Glenn Wayne (plus maybe you'll actually see Glenn!). If there's any negative about Glenn's Donuts it would be that you just can't make your own selections. Because they aren't made in-house that would be a tough feat to uphold, but if you consider Glenn's Donuts a satellite location of the original Glenn Wayne with the same great taste, then you can't fault them for this. They do things the way it used to be done back in the day. Cookie trays and pastries, always stocked and presented with precision and attention to detail. The staff will always make eye contact and greet you as you enter and are happy to assist. They have a few tables and chairs set up for people to pop in for a few minutes and enjoy their feel for Italy. They offer a self-serve coffee station set up, but if you really want next level, order yourself a latte.

There's just a great selection of stuff here that makes you curious as to what they'll have each time you enter. Beyond the baked goods, I will say the staff has been super friendly. Both visits they were helpful, gave suggestions, and (though it was close to closing) offered us some rolls free of charge. It doesn't take a lot to make you feel welcome and they do more than that which is nice to see. Perhaps you won't see what is nothing more than a few tables inside this small spot that you can sit at, but I wouldn't say this is a horrible turnoff. Yeah, maybe Dortoni isn't your bakery/cafe that's going to be a place you stay and enjoy your goods, but it's definitely worth some items to-go. Overall, Dortoni in Port Jeff earns a visit. The one blemish on a perfect cake was that we ordered lilac or light purple icing for flowers on the cake, they turned out to be a dark blue. But great tasting cake nonetheless.
