Chris & Meredith, the new owners had big ideas. They excitedly mentioned some of the changes that they'd planned, including the new seating arrangements. Could that possibly work for our often crowded daily morning group? We weren't sure. But Chris has been accommodating and solicitous, and assured us that he'd make it work for us ~~ And he has. In addition, new yummy food offerings are now available; bagels & lox, avocado toast, yogurt parfaits, and overnight oats. (My husband's favorite) As before, the barristas are friendly, competent, and cheerful. The only change that disappoints me (and this is minor), is the placement of the baked goods. I used to derive great pleasure in watching the young children walk up to the pastry window at their eye level, as they would choose their favorite treat. Yes, change is hard, but the new owners have succeeded in continuing to make Acton Coffee the welcoming place we want to be every morning we're in town.

The country store had plenty of gorgeous, fresh baked goods to choose from and also such a variety of produce. I bought some bright orange carrots and a cheddar and chive scone (which we since then have bought two more times because it's packed with flavor and delicious). There are so many other baked goods I want to try when I have the time to drop by and room in my diet...haha There is also a seafood stall outside the farm store which is year round mostly and looks to have good quality products. I love going in the fall to get pumpkins and fall produce. When we went there were HUGE bins of apples outside, along with heirloom tomatoes, blueberries, raspberries, and some fresh squash. It is a bit on the more expensive side but you're paying for quality and supporting a local business. I could spend hours here and still find more to love. They have something for everyone so I'd definitely recommend to stop by!

Oatly milk is absolutely terrible for you and can cause gut bloat due to poor ingredients, etc. But, other than that, we love it here and hope to come back soon :)

What struck me the most were the absolutely gorgeous flower gardens! It is so obvious that love, sweat, and tears have gone into making Kimball Farm a destination, not just for the ice cream and activities but for the beautiful flowers. The garden beds rival those at a botanical garden. We were lucky enough to meet Christine, the resident gardener, and her passion and knowledge and excitement about her beautiful gardens is so apparent. We will return, and I plan to bring some family members to grab some ice cream and view the gardens!
