I spent 800.00 on new tires and had to go back 4 times for leak which turned out to be the valve stem. The final time I went there, the man with a green piece of plastic embedded in his face told me they can clean the inside of the tire and put air in it again?? I explained this was my 4th time there for the leak and putting air wasn't going to help it. An hour and a half later he advised me that they rebuilt the valve stem. The next day on my way to work my tire read low. I took it to my dealer and they told me that nothing was ever done so I had valve stem replaced. I will never go back to Dunn Tire. went in early this morning 8 am all garafes empty. 4 men standing around inside talking. no other customers there yet. went in as soon as opened. just needed a flat tire fixed. he said no time to do that he has a full day of appointments i would have up leave my car there and whenever they could get to it. he said better chance in the afternoon . for christ sake it would have been done before their first appointment showed up. i have spent a lot of money over ther years at that place and was very unhappy they couldn't do a better job of helping me. read more

Terrible customer service and very unhelpful, I'm shocked by the staff here. Never had a location been so poorly managed, it is appalling.

I've been going to Dunn Tire for 20 years. Apparently all of the older, experienced managers are gone. I came in today, asked if they would look at my truck tires. They convinced me they were legal but should change them. My choice, I went along and bought $800. Worth of tires. I asked how long it would take and was told an hour and a half. It's now 2 hours and forty minutes later and the truck just went up on the lift. You can't tell me that they missed the estimate by 100% !! They were worried that I would pass if I knew I was going to be here 3-31/2 hours. I like the out the door pricing and the service, but the way they BS customers is unacceptable and by the way, this isn't the first time this has happened here. read more

Dunn tire in Olean N.Y.is a top off. Went in because had a free alignment because they fucked up my tires last time I went. Well they couldn't do the alignment as said something on my back end was loose. Took it to two other garages and they said it was not loose and that there was nothing wrong with it. Dunn tire wanted to charge close to $200 to have it fixed. Probably were just going to state at it and charge mr. One way of honoring the free alignment. Also one of the shops said they had 2 other customers that Dunn said they needed repairs and didn't. Don't go there unless you want to spend money on needless repairs.. read more

I came to them after another Dunn Tire installed my tires incorrectly. They were extremely accommodating, professional and courteous. I was in and out of there fairly quickly and a much happier person. These guys restored my faith in the brand after getting burned by another location. read more

I agree with most of the negative commenters, the customer services has gone down hill with the new ownership. I have used them for over 20 years for tires and service but not any more. The last few times I used them I felt cheated. They are no better then any of the chain muffler and repair shops in the area. Long wait times and extra charges add up to a loss in customers. read more

I brought my tires here with a good warranty. There was a flat a year later and they fixed it free. This is great to have.

Scheduled a tire rotation for 5:00 on a week night. They didn't look at my car until 5:50. Not sure what the appointment is for if it's going to take 50 minutes to get started. They proceeded to tell me that my tires were worn to a point that a rotation wasn't needed. I actually need new tires. OK, no problem. I had them look up the warranty on them. After 40,000 miles, my 75,000 mile warranty tires were shot. I asked what the warranty would get me off on the new set. They were unable to tell me in the store and said they would have to call the manufacturer in the morning. They would call me back the following day to let me know. It's now 3 days later and still no phone call back. I called the store back to get an answer and he told me he's going to have to find out who I talked to in store and then get them to call me back tomorrow. I left their store at 6:20, 1 hr 20 minutes after my appointment without them rotating my tires and no answer on what my warranty is going to do for me. I'm no further along than I was 4 days ago and no real faith that anyone is ever going to call me back. This is not my first below average experience with their customer service. I've had other poorly executed service appointments in the past. If you can go somewhere else, I would probably recommend it. Not sure why I don't listen to myself. read more

Wow I can't believe the people that work there now. Brought my car in for the snow tires to be remove and the summer tires and rims to place on it. I had Dunn Tire store the snow tires. When I got home I couldn't find the wheel covers for the snow tires. Called Dunn they had them and forgot to put them in my car. They wanted me to pick them up, 20 minutes each way. When I requested they store them they told me they were not responsible for any damage to them in storage. It's there mistake that they want me to fix. read more

Called Dunn Tire today to schedule and appointment to have my tires rotated. I was answered by automated system and waited on hold for 13 minutes then hung up on. So I drove to store to see if I could get my tires rotated. When I got there no one was at the counter and a few minutes late a guy walk out from the office. I mentioned to guy at counter there phones were not working because my call was never answered and after 13 minutes was disconnected. He abruptly said no there working that he was just busy. I asked when I could get my tires rotated so as not to void my warranty and he said with an nasty attitude that he was booked out for 2 weeks minimum. I said I was leaving town for a month and was driving down state and he started arguing with me saying everyone is getting there tires switched over this week and then his comment was I could leave my vehicle there for 2 days and maybe they might get time to rotate tires but there was no guarantee. The last time I left my vehicle at Dunn Tire they did $900 plus in damages to my vehicle and denied it so leaving my vehicle was not and option, nor was there a guarantee they would do the rotation. I was not offered any alternatives, they have they worst attitude, and don't care about their customers and do not honor there guarantees. After leaving the store I called Firestone corporate since I have Firestone tires sold to me by Dunn Tire. I explained the shitty service and my bad experiences at Dunn Tire and Firestone got me an appointment the very next day to rotate my tires at one of there corporate stores. Dunn Tire sells a service they are unable to provide when needed. Stay away from Dunn Tire this company is so dishonest just look up the other complaints posted. I wish I did before going to them! They will say anything to get you to spend your money there, but there service sucks!!!!! read more

Possibly the worst service I have ever received. Had absolutely no idea what they were doing balancing my wheels and tires.

Went in for NY State Inspection and tire rotation at the Lancaster location. During check-in, I specified the torque value for the lug nuts should be 75 pounds. The service guy wrote it down. When the car was finished, the technician advised an alignment was indicated, based on tread wear. He also suggested a fuel system flush based on the mileage of my car. (84,000 miles). Both these items would be $160.00 Before the inspection, I replaced my brakes and had all 4 tires off and inspected them. There was even wear on all 4 tires. I also inflated them to the recommended 32 psi. When the car was ready and still in their parking lot, I tried to loosen a lug nut and couldn't. I couldn't loosen any on 2 of the wheels. I went back in and told the service guy. He had me take it back by the shop and a worker came out and tried to loosen them. He ended up standing on my spider wrench to try to loosen the lug nut. That didn't work. With great strain, he was eventually able to get them loosened. While still there, I torqued them myself to 75 pounds. I also checked the psi and they were inflated to 36 pounds. Not sure why they added 4 more pounds of air to the tires and why they were unable to torque the lug nuts to 75 pounds on all 4 wheels. read more
