Holy goodness!!!! I have found my new obsession. First off Jarrel has some amazing customer service skills! I must have looked lost or confused or tired or all 3 since I just finished a shift of work haha. He approached my car and asked what he could get me and I let him know I had never been here before. I just wanted a coffee that tasted good and was iced. He literally gave me a whole explanation of the menu, what he likes, what's popular and sold me on not one but TWO Kickers!!! This place is the go-to for late night study sessions. My usual favorite is the Anhiallator, awesome when iced and best when blended. If you're a UCD student, bring your SAA card for $2 drinks at any size. The workers are nice 24/7 - literary, because this place is a gift from God for being open 24/7. on my way to work I usually go to dutch bros in Vacaville but this morning (2/10) I finally decided to stop at Davis. The location was awful. Its on a corner that makes it difficult to access. I usually have amazing service from dutch bros but this morning the girl took my order very fast and then rushed into the building. I didnt feel welcomed whatsoever. I could have gone to Starbucks if I wanted service like that without real communication. I didnt get her name but she was wearing a blue hoodie. I used to work in customer service in my younger years, so I hope this reaches her so she knows how important it is to make customers want to come back. I will not come back to this location because of my first impression from her. I will stick to other locations that have staff that cares. read more

TL; DR: Decent coffee, expect long lines. Might be hard to actually reach the line. I may be alone, but their coffee is not anything to write home about. As far as drive-through coffee goes, it's decent. Employees are definitely friendly, and do seem to work hard, which is a plus considering they seem to always be slammed. Honestly, one star goes for the relatively inconsistent coffee. I generally drink espresso, and it varies widely based on the day. I can'tcomment on any of their signature drinks. Another star lost to the miserable location. I understand the convenience of being near the freeway, but the long lines and difficulty actually pulling into the small, awkward corner kind of remove the convenience of drive-through coffee. read more

I've been seeing tons of posts about this place from my friends on Instagram so thought I'd give it a try. I can definitely see why people like this place. It's yummy, but a bit too sweet for my own liking. I usually drink my coffee drinks unsweetened so I guess that's why. I got the cocomo and my friend got the annihilator. The cocomo is a typically a mocha with hints of coconut flavors. The annihilator is chocolate macadamia? ( correct me if I'm wrong). Both tasted like eating a bar of chocolate, perfect for dessert or that extra caffeine boost for them all nighters! I was coming down with a cold when I was here so my taste buds weren't 100%. I didnt get the full flavors but i was definitely able to taste the sweetness of it. If I happen to be in the area again ill definitely stop by for a treat. read more

I love this place. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is great! My drink of choice is the Annihilator and the Cocomo. My only complaint is today's text deal, which said, "What's up beautiful people!? Take a few minutes out of your crazy schedules and come enjoy paradise in a cup. $2 COCOMOS today 5/7 till 11pm. (Woodland/Davis)". No where in this text did it specify that this deal was for the iced cocomo only. So I was a little disappointed when I ordered my hot cocomo and was told that is was $4.50 when I asked about the $2 deal the response I received was, "Sorry this deal is for the iced cocomo only, you're not the first person who's been confused by this deal today". My coffee was still great but if you're going to send out a deal make sure you word it properly or be prepared to at least honor the text! read more

OMG Dutch Brothers Coffee is now my favorite java spot! It is hands down the best coffee joint...sorry to say it but their coffee is so much better than Starbuck's. All their workers are really nice too. I've tried their Kicker, Double Chocolate Mocha, and ER 911...all were super yum! The coffee was really good (not watered down at all) and had just the right amount of kick I need to wake up in the morning. I remember before Dutch Bros was even there. It was tiny little coffee cart that failed miserably, but Dutch Bros came along, and their opening day were giving out free drinks. Best sales ploy EVER! Get people addicted when it is free (and yes one will do it for you) and they will line up around the corner to get some more in future. I have yet to see a line at that place since it opened. The lids are always cute and you never know what you're going to get. I love the chai, but I always ask for more chai to make it spicier because theirs tends to be very vanilla-y. Minus one star because the line can get super long and it is a traffic hazard when you're driving and people are blocking the street trying to get into Dutch Bros. read more

I have found that most Dutch Bros are fun locations but these guys are super friendly and make a VERY STRONG cup of coffee. For those who definitely want to get the blood flowing, they have the ER-911. The drinks are fairly priced at $3+ for a medium, and $4+ for large. They also offer a stamp card for frequent customers. I also suggest following them on Instagram for various deals that are offered throughout the month. It does tend to get really busy throughout the day, as cars would line up on the street. I always get a peach black iced tea from all the Dutch bros I go to. I love it and thy get my order perfect each time however, when I tried this location, it was horrible. I couldn't figure out why it tasted so much worse here . I mean it's pretty simple if you ask me. I realized that they brew there tea WAY TOO DARK. Alright, alright, it's Dutch Bros - it beats Starbucks (always) but yet still doesn't match up to the same experience as a local little shop. But it's fast, with a small drive through, and we people love that on the go. Here's the thing that really makes them stand out - more than the customer service, that awesome energy of the employees. Coffee, I believe, was valued in coffee shops where you paused for a moment to simply enjoy the connection with another human, or even yourself, and Dutch Bros manages to create that experience even in the rush of the drive through. It's more than a friendly "service", every morning I interact with them on a traffic rush to the Bay I actually feel a bit more human. Once on a rush to a music festival we had an entire conversation about what events I might see her at this year, another where we exchanged answers to the question "if you could go back in time, where would you go?".
