I had just come from having a horrible experience at the Starbucks up the street. Wanted to redeem my bday reward and y'all were awesome!! I don't get to come to Dutch bros often since I moved to where there's one nearby during the pandemic and didn't get out much. A very nice young man with reddish hair asked me questions about what type of drink I was looking for without making me feel stupid and it was SOOO good!! My one minor complaint was the music was wiiiildly loud inside which cranked my anxiety to a 8.5/10 trying to communicate an order I wasn't sure about. I know the party "atmosphere" is a Dutch bros thing but it Overloaded my senses. It can be loud and fun without absolutely blasting. Turn it down juuust a tad? Otherwise, I'm looking forward to coming back (thru the drive thru next time!!) oh also tight tight tight parking lot and drive thru. Fast and friendly service. Parking can be difficult sometimes, because they share a lot with 7-Eleven, so it can be busy/full during peak times. The drive through is great, the employees are VERY friendly and the line moves fast :) They have a good variety of drink choices and they will also make up a personalized concoction that's not even on the menu, if you ask. Dutch Bros has the most reasonable pricing of any "chain" coffee place I've been to. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of their coffee because it's always too sugary sweet. I love coffee, so when I order a drink I want to actually taste the COFFEE without the milk or the flavored syrup be overpowering. I've even had them add extra espresso shots, but the drinks were still too sweet. So, my 4-star rating is based on low prices and excellent customer service, even though I'm not a fan of the coffee. read more

I've been wanting to try Dutch Bros Coffee but I felt like it was a little overjoyed especially at the first DBC location that I ever stopped by. It's true they employ young energetic and perhaps on a slightly more good looking bunch of millenials but I didn't feel like customer service was particularly as outstanding as the hype I've heard. The cool part is they have so much variety of drinks of all sorts of diff names to the point u felt a lil overwhelmed...so I ended up choosing just the first one that I felt was more acceptable to my taste coz I was so exhausted making a mental note of comparison of the drinks that would rank first in my mind. Overall, I found it to be just ok. Not bad but not anything too outstanding either. If anything the drinks were a lil too sweet for my taste and I think the calories make the drinks a lil less attractive for me to go back again. Recently visited this Dutch Bros location on the way home from work during the Covid-19 lockdown. The staff was kind, efficient and took all the preventative measures to have as little contact as possible. I ordered a large iced Annihilator and it tasted great like always. Tough times without stamp cards, but it will not deter me from visiting again during all this weirdness. Tip: they are card only during Covid-19, so leave the dirty paper money at home. read more

I'm from California and we don't have a Dutch bro's close to where I live, so coming to Portland for a vacation I made sure I stopped here. The drive thru was a little crazy so we decided to park and get out..which was a mistake cause we waited probably 15 min just to order our drinks,(which is why this review is 3 stars) the line process there was confusing. I've always heard this place is better than Starbucks so I couldn't wait to try, I had the iced vanilla latte, my boyfriend got the cold brew and that was also amazing. I'm not really sure what's happening with the customer service, but this 12:00pm crew was awful. If I could've posted this review without leaving even ONE star, I absolutely would!! It wasn't a warm environment, their customer service was awful!! I couldn't believe that I was standing inside a Dutch Bros. I asked if they had orange juice, the caramel skin black girl with the blondish, and black braids said no with the biggest attitude tapping her feet and hands like "Hurry up!". I proceeded to order the other drinks that I needed to pick up for my siblings. This chick was gross, her attitude made Dutch Bros. look really bad. I am an African-American woman so it baffled me as to why she would be so unkind to anyone that walked through the door, including another Black Woman that showed nothing but kindness. Meanwhile I'm handling this with grace, being that I just lost a parent this week. Anyway, I asked the other employees that happened to be a white male, and white girl who was the manager, they pretended not to know anything or understand that their customer service was foul. They had no name tags so when I asked what their names were, they had no response. The black girl thought it was funny and just waved me off, she giggled and said "you have a nice day" with a little pretentious wave. I told her to do better. I told them all that I saw them, and to have a blessed rest of your day. I'm so done with this location. Customers pay the bills, including making sure employees get paid. Because, if we don't come to the store it gets shut down, and then they have to look for employment elsewhere. So, I understand it's a mutual exchange. Hands down the best coffee you will ever have. I don't know how they train their staff but I would have to imagine that they have a pretty incredible training program. The staff is ways friendly. It's more like a 3.5 stars, but this is based off of one visit. I liked this location because there is an actual shop and not just a drive thru. My drink (iced kicker with an extra shot) was perfect, but my sister's drink was not. She ordered a strawberry coconut Italian soda with cream & whip. The reason she adores their Italian soda's is because they always use a brand new can of club soda and not something that has gone flat from being opened (like a 2 liter bottle.. ya know?). Anyway, the gal made the drink with a new can, but stirred the shit out of it. The Italian soda was totally flat. Holy cow, girlfriend. Calm down with the stirring. If it's backed up they'll just come out into the driveway line and take your order, or pop out of another window. They are genuine and fun to include in your day or commute. This spot is a little more off the beaten trail so if you're fortunate to have it close go enjoy! Finally, my husband was able to try this coffee shop. It has been awhile for me. He and I got the Kicker and his daughter got the Annihilator. The kicker is a sweet like latte Irish cream breve and the Annihilator was a macadamia breve. Both were aweaome but i wish the temperature of the coffee was hot. Just came here at 7:15am in the chilly rain which I am absolutely not used to since I am a sunshine loving gal from SoCal. The entire staff were EXTREMELY friendly and were helpful when I couldn't decide what to get. I went with their Kicker which they said is their most popular. It's delicious! I'm a huge coffee gal and the flavor was rich and wonderful. The staff also took time to talk to my friends and I, asked where we were from and just...so nice. I've never been treated so nicely at a coffee shop. After our drinks were made they told us since we are out of town our drinks are complimentary for our first time. Flew back to San Diego and was missing this locations Dutch Bros (and dolls!) My first time to try with an open mind and they delivered on their Slogan "Guaranteed to Satisfy." I had the Annihilator which is Chocolate Macadamia Nut. Typically at a coffee shop I'll have to add some raw sugar, soy or half & half to adjust to my liking. With the Annihilator it was the first time I didn't have to add anything. Silky smooth well balanced on the sweet and light to medium roast. Perfect cup! The Annihilator, anihilated quite a few other cuppa joe places I've been to not only in PDX but other states and countries. They offer Almond, Soy and Coconut Milk. Can't wait for my next trip to Portland to try more items. They have Dutch Soda, Jr. Mafia cups are cute and Real Fruit Smoothie Blueberry Pomegranate peaked my interest. The gals working the counter were just as awesome as my cup of Joe. Great energy and fun conversation. Thanks ladies for excellent customer service, suggestions and a nice first experience. There are many reasons why I like Dutch Bros coffee and many reasons why I like THIS Dutch Bros, but I'll share a little story instead of listing the details... I was heading out to The Momma's house when I decided to stop by my favorite coffee place. As I was pulling into the driveway, some Chicky in a Subaru cut me off and zoomed right in ahead of me. Rude. This Dutch Bros has two windows and use the first one if the line is long or whatnot. When I pulled up after Chicky-in-a-Subaru, one of the gals (shoot, I don't know their names, but it was a blond gal) saw me and said how it has been a while since I had been there, which was true because I had been out of town for a couple weeks. Then she remembered my order! I have always wanted a coffee shop to remember my order (Iced Carmelizer with a quad shot). So, I am sitting behind Chicky-in-a-Subaru for forever because she is passing out about 100 drinks to her Offspring-in-a-Subaru. When I finally pull up to the window to receive my icy, caffeinated beverage, the fella with the long hair told me that they saw Chicky-in-a-Subaru cut me off and said my drink was on the house. I've been to many Dutch Bros franchises, but this is the first one I've seen that is actually in a building, with a drive through. They're normally just "coffee-hut" style. The drinks were good and the staff was nice. We got lucky and hit this up on a Tuesday- which happened to be a two dollar Tuesday. Medium drinks $2. Good deal VERY impressed that you can order your beverage with COCONUT milk. Good for me as I'm trying to do the PALEO thing. They get extra star for that, right there. That made my day. read more

I've now stopped here three times for coffee, so I thought I should write a short review. It's great to have a Dutch Bros on the NE side of town, and it's a convenient stop going or coming from the airport (it's next to the Subway and 7-Eleven on the corner of Columbia and 42nd). I like that they have specials every other week (Monday Mocha Madness or $2.00 Tuesdays for medium drinks) and the drinks I've ordered have been good. Service is friendly (typical, really young staff - music blasting in the background) and fast. You can use their drive-thru or go inside (if you can find parking, depending on what time you go, it can be scarce). Overall, a good Dutch Bros. read more

We do not have these in Seattle, but I believe we will one day, I will franchise some myself. I went to several of these per my brothers recommendation, and they are, by far, my favorite coffee place. The service and standards are incredibly consistent, even when I went to franchises with different owners. Usually I drink regular, but I had to try a Carmalizer, (sugar free/non-fat) as they say it is their most popular. Both the regular (private reserve) and the carmalizer are real, really good. I cannot recommend this place enough. Note - be sure to get a punch card! I went there about 4 times before even knowing about it. read more
