I've had amazing experience with any Dutch Bros. location, and this one is just as great as the others! Since Reno, NV is such a short getaway from the Bay, I'm here quite often to visit & unwind - most especially since we've got family friends that reside in this part of Washoe County! The area only used to have the lone Dutch Bros. at Carson Mall in the state's capital city, but expanded to numerous locations within the region (the two along S. Virginia & another off E. William Street in Carson City) - however, what makes this particular one stand out is its close proximity to our family friends' neighborhood - Damonte Ranch, which makes my visits so much better. It is a must to get that much needed caffeine boost to start your day, or if you just need a sudden jolt of energy if you're out and about! The customer service here is superb! Everyone is so friendly, and would actually initiate conversation rather than just take your order, and give it to you. A lot of the employees are young, so they have great energy and don't seem to dread their job. That's a great way for youngins' to earn some money at an early age, and find the importance of hard work! It was also pleasing to see smiling faces (or rather, enthusiastic/positive attitudes - since the few visits were during the pandemic and everyone had face masks on). At this location, I've only ordered their keto cold brew. It's basically cold brew iced coffee with heavy cream. Even though it might taste a bit bitter, there are way less calories on this drink than most of their really sweet, yet refreshingly addicting caffeinated beverages. Of course I'm not on that keto diet hype, I just prefer to make smart decisions & healthy options. They have so many drinks that can be customized to your preferences, and you practically have to do some research beforehand, so that you'd know what to order & be ready once you pull up into their drive-thru! (Pro Tip: Long lines lead to people not knowing what to order when they get to the front of the line, so just a heads up to REALLY know what you want - so the line can get moving! #justsaying) If you're from the Bay Area and Northern California, and haven't had Dutch Bros. yet from the scattered locations across that region, then you're seriously missing out on life! I love Dutch and I am so happy there is one just down the street from my house now! Pulled in and between both lanes there were about 4 cars total in front of me. Ordering was smooth and quick, for myself Trifecta (caramel, white chocolate, dark chocolate) freeze "1 of my new favs", my husband a decaf 911, and I got my son a cotton candy breeze. I have ordered so many different things off their menu and honestly have never been disappointed and all our drinks tastes fantastic. My son is usually picky and he loved his! I really enjoy Dutch Bro's and the staff that work there. All the Dutch Bro's locations I have visited always offer great service and I really love the stamp card they give you. I went to Dutch Bro's during the start of the Covid-19 shutdown and they did a great job to be sanitary. The girl at the window was super nice and started a conversation while I waited. The coffee came out nice and hot, when I got home and tasted it, I liked it better than another drive thru coffee spot. Definitely try Dutch Bro's as I think they do a great job of brewing and encouraging their employees to engage in polite conversations! read more

Grand opening day and it was super busy with all the drinks being only $3.00 for any size! Sad to say that I am probably one of the very few that has never tried Dutch Bros Coffee! Oh well, better late than never I guess :) Surprisingly as busy as it was, there was ample parking. Their parking lot adjoins with other businesses across from them so if their immediate parking lot runs out; no worries! One of the great features I noticed right away is; this location has two drive-thru lanes compared to the other locations here in Reno only having one lane. This will be extremely helpful during busy times. While standing in line, they had music playing which was great but the speakers were so loud that I had a tough time hearing the person next to me and basically had to yell as if we were in a dance club or concert. Since there was a long line, there was also an order taker that had a tablet which he was able to take orders and pay with but we had a hard time hearing each other over the music.... hopefully they turn it down just a tad to make the atmosphere a little more enjoyable. I ordered the iced Breve which was very bland in taste and lacked any sweet contents. I actually ended up adding some sugar to my drink after I got home and now it tastes great. Maybe this is how the drink is supposed to taste but definitely not something I would order again. The other three drinks we got were all iced Mocha's and those were actually pretty good. We plan to return, so we will definitely be trying other drinks. To my surprise, there was only one window for taking orders and picking up orders. As for the outdoor seating, there are only two tables which is a bit surprising because there is room for two more tables. All in all, this is a great location and the staff (so far) seem very friendly. read more

Been to a lot of Dutch bros before, but on 02/12/2024 at 10am-10:15 am, the women with dirty blonde hair, pretty petite, was very very rude. She was taking orders from the same line and ignoring the other like also her tone sounded like she wasn't happy and she never said happy birthday when it was my bf birthday (which when you know it is, that seems very rude, maybe I was raised differently) . She cut him off, he apologized and she seemed upset like he'd insulted her deeply. Dutch bros is known for their upbeat kind and happy attitudes and I have never had an experience with someone that works there like this. Still love the coffee just wish this is experience wasn't on someone's birthday.... Maybe should not have her in the costumer service line doesn't seem for her. read more

Seriously, the sweetest workers. After working in the hot sun for hours, I completely spaced their no cash policy. I realized it after getting in the drive thru and felt like an idiot and offered to just leave. Instead, the worker told me not to worry about it and I was able to still get my drink. So, I've gone here twice and I love Dutch usually. I don't order anything special just what's on the menu and somehow they have messed up every drink I've ordered and it's just a hassle. The lines are always long and the cashiers at this location aren't as friendly as the others in Reno. The girl with short brown hair and glasses was very short with me and still got my order wrong. I wanted a tea and got a rebel and it's just a hassle to go and change it so I'm just never going back to that location even if it is closer to my house. This Dutch is the worst in Reno. read more

Got invIted to the unofficial opening of the newest Dutch Bros in Reno! Wow! This place is HUUGE! It is also spotless, clean and well organized inside and out. Everything has its spot inside and seems to have great flow. One of the best things this stand has over the others in Reno are that the dual drive up lanes will accommodate 20 cars! Holy coffee! As usual, the coffee is great and the crew is friendly with a lot of familiar faces coming from the existing stands. Only downfall is the exit strategy out of the parking lot onto Double R Blvd is going to be atrocious. Highly recommend using an alternate exit. Exercise caution and enjoy a great coffee! read more

First time here. Drove to the drive-through. We were happily greeted by the host who took our order. Son ordered an iced blended mocha. Since it was our first time the coffee was 'free'. Our barista was friendly. Coffee was served quickly on a tray before handing it to the customer. They do comply with COVID. So far this is a great first-time experience. My boyfriend and I stopped here for coffee this past weekend twice! I drink cold brew all the time, so I know what a good cold brew taste like. We got the nitro cold brew's, one of them was mocha and the other one was caramel, and we also had the muffin tops, all of these were very delicious. Ive always had great customer service at any location I've been to. My very first visit to this location was unsettling. While the kind gentleman was making small talk with me, I could hear one of the baristas in the back mocking me. I have no idea why it bothered me so much after i drove off, i can brush things off. Even during a tough time. The young lady that took my order big smile behind her face mask.
