I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, and I order a Venti Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso with whole milk from this location almost every day. Today, I picked up my drink and immediately noticed a large number of white curds floating throughout it. I had never seen anything like that in this drink before, but I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was harmless. Then I took one sip. This was not a coffee that tasted slightly off, poorly mixed, or incorrectly prepared. This was genuinely one of the most disgusting things I have ever tasted. When I say the milk was spoiled, I do not mean it was a little past its best quality. Even ordinary expired milk does not taste this horrific. It tasted as though the milk had been left sitting at room temperature since the previous day, possibly overnight, and then used to make drinks anyway. The taste was so intensely rotten that I immediately had to spit it out. I honestly cannot understand how milk could become that spoiled without anyone noticing the smell, appearance, texture, or taste. The drink had visible curds throughout it. How does something in that condition get poured, shaken, handed to a customer, and treated as acceptable? This was not a small mistake. It was a complete failure to pay attention to basic food quality and safety. What made the experience even worse was how the situation was handled. When I brought the drink inside and showed it to the employee, he responded with a completely indifferent demeanor and told me it was probably just not shaken enough. I shook the drink directly in front of him to show that the curds were still there and that shaking obviously had nothing to do with it. I even told him he was welcome to taste it himself if he did not believe me. There was no apology, no concern, and no acknowledgment that they had just served a customer a drink containing severely spoiled milk. He simply asked whether I wanted another one. Serving milk that tasted this rotten was bad enough. Responding with a negative attitude and trying to dismiss your customer is what completely destroyed my trust for this brand. After years of being a regular customer and spending a significant amount of money at Starbucks, I am done with this location and most likely the brand entirely. read more

Honestly, the best Starbucks ever. What can you say? Prices are uniform, so what's the difference? The people here ARE the difference! Not just very easy to work with, pleasant, courteous... but genuinely exceptional. The location is very nice: one of the things I look for anywhere I want to eat is checking the floor, counters, tables, pickup area -- and everything here is immaculate. Spotless. I don't think I've ever seen such a well-coordinated team outside of the cockpit, and they operate precisely, smoothly... great to watch them move, shift around without stumbling over each other. No they are refusing to give water to me I don't need/want or like blueberries so I'll be waisting my money. I'm in town visiting and needed some caffeine and a couple hours to wind down before meeting up with a large group for a retreat. There is a very spacious and open concept dining area with large windows which provide plenty of natural light. I had a barista/cashier named Larcy who is new and very sweet. Please give baristas grace and patience, it's not an easy job especially when they are new! Larcy was friendly and anything she did not know she made sure to figure it out! I had my usual on a really hot day, iced grande brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso with vanilla bean powder and it took a couple tries for them to figure out how to make it properly but it was worth the wait. All the staff there were very sweet and helpful. I would def return to this location. read more

This is a COVID-19 Take-Away Review. We have been coming to this location ever since it opened eighteen months ago. The only drawback is you'll never know how bad the drive-thru is until you make the turn and the Bank next door which also shares it. Starbucks is on the left as you enter. Very confusing. I like this store, I frequent this store, and I especially like that it is a Nitro cold brew location. I learned that not every store is a Nitro store and plain old cold Starbucks coffee is a sad and far cry from the Nitro, foamy kind. I recommend it. My only suggestion for improvement is the chattiness of the servers at the drive-through window--sometimes. Keep the line moving, stop chatting with customers so much (again, on those occasions when it happens) and get us in and out with our selections done so we can be on our way. Also, when I pull up at the speaker, ask "Good morning, what can we get started for you today?" not "How are you today?" It reminds me too much of when McDonald's asks through a speaker if I want the specialty of the month when all I want is a plain hamburger. If I answer with a curt, "Fine." Now you know why. I came in at 5:45 AM On 8/22/19 to order a decaf coffee. The girl was so rude and said what I have to do a pour over which I had no idea what that meant. So I ordered a decaf Americano instead. Not only was the register gal so rude when I handed her $100 bill and she said I can't break that so I said well I wanted to give you guys a tip and all I have is my app. Both her and the barista were a couple of sourpusses. I just went to Dutch Brothers yesterday and had the most incredible experience their competition. THEY DON'T ENFORCE MASK POLICY I've been coming to this Starbucks via the drive-thru since I moved to the area in Aug. I've never had a problem. However, this weekend I went on a Saturday morning walk with my wife and dog and we decided to stop here for a coffee and pastry. We made sure to bring our masks. I was very surprised to see that not just one, but two people in the store not wearing a mask. One person was sitting on the bench and o saw them walk around here and there (didn't seem like a customer) and then another gentleman standing in the middle of everyone. There was a sign on the door stating that masks were required and I even saw masks sitting in a basket by the door. NOT ONE staff member at this store said a thing to either person for not wearing a mask, especially with so many guest in the lobby. That was all I needed to see. I will NOT be coming back to this location. If they enforces the rule, then I will protect my family and go elsewhere. Plus, there's a new Starbucks on Mayo that just opened and it's closer anyways. Would be neat to live in the condos next to it, as you also have walking access to a new fitness center, health food and supplement stores and a new Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers. This Starbucks' staff is especially friendly. I notice they already know regulars names and make each experience warm and personal. Today I went for the new nitro cold brew with sweet cream added. It was really good- definitely offered me the caffeine pick up I was looking for with a little a smoother blend and slightly sweeter than my regular cold brew. Though I'm glad I tried it, I'll probably stick to my normal, no calorie cold brew in the future, as I don't like to drink my calories. About $5 for a grande. read more

Very rude drive-thru rep at this location (guy who wears Harry Potter looking glasses). Have had one encounter with him before tonight where he was rude because he "could not understand what I was ordering." Then, tonight I show up with about 10 minutes or so before the location closes at 7:30pm and the same guy who helped me before was frustrated because he forgot two items that I ordered (on the receipt for proof) and when I asked for them he rolled his eyes and shook his head at me. Would recommend avoiding this individual. The Grayhawk location on Hayden and Thompson Peak has great customer service and would recommend going there if it's not too far out of the way for you. read more

I live right next door to this Starbucks which could be awesome! Everyone I have ever had to deal with here has been very friendly. However the consistency of drinks I would give a negative star for. I feel like I'm back at McDonald's where they just cant seem to get it together. Your staff needs to learn their drinks better. I order the same thing everytime and I have had it made right one day. The other days it comes out dark brown and other times it comes out almost white. I order a vanilla sweet cream cold brew. Not anything to difficult. I have just stopped coming to Starbucks.
