I'm very confused and conflicted as I'm writing this review as everyone is giving such high grades. So let me start from the beginning. We're a big baseball family. We go to multiple MLB and minor league stadiums a year. This is Minor League Stadium #14 as we're getting ready to hit August. I have to be completely honest. This is probably my least favorite Stadium. Began when we first got in and the boys went to hang out by the field to try to get a toss up. Usher told us if we didn't have tickets for the section, we can't hang out there. Really?? MLB, Triple A, Double A, Single A, Independent Leagues; never had this issue. I understand if it was getting crowded but the whole game there might have been 8 people in that section. Right out of the gate, things are going south. We then go to the team store as we always get a logo baseball for every game we go to. We have a whole wall with all the baseballs of the games we've been to in UV cases. They're out of baseballs!!! I then go to the taco cart to get "nachos in a helmet". They're out of helmets!!!! So they put them in a cardboard box. I also got a chili dog which was below average at best. Our ritual is, top of the 6th inning is for ice cream. We go to get Dippin Dots... yep... out of mini-helmets AND out of every flavor except banana split or cookies and cream in a plastic to go bag. Absolutely unacceptable for an MLB minor league affiliated team. The field was patched like a Frankenstein job at every base. I had very good seats but then again, I picked them online. Parking was $7 and tickets were $17 a ticket which I think is a little steep for a High A game with nothing to offer their fans except whatever they have left over and trying to get rid of. I saw a good game because I'm a Mets fan and the Cyclones won but I'm glad I only invested a little over an hour drive each way because the experience was subpar. read more

Stadium itself was clean, good amount of bathrooms, all the staff we encountered were young but friendly and did their jobs. There were some real highs and real lows. High - churro fried dough. Eddie, you magical, magical man. I'd eat that churro fried dough all day. It was beautiful and delicious. (The churros were good too - the Barbie churros are a pass, just pink chemical flavor, the chocolate syrup on churros - meh, fine but not magic, the Bavarian cream ones - YES.) Also, DIPPIN DOTS! Low - the tacos. An abomination. I'm mad that I paid for them AND that I ate them. The beef was unseasoned, the shells were stale, the lettuce and cheese fell out everywhere - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If it's between eating these tacos and starvation....think long and hard about it. Also, the baseball helmet nachos were SAD. If you're vegetarian, you're gonna be hard up here. Our friend literally had cheese sprinkled on chips, with a packaged cup of Heinz salsa. She asked about the pump container of jalapeño cheese and got a blank stare in return. You have to really know or ask for things. We got soft pretzels, didn't see cheese or anything on the menu or at the counter - but saw other folks walking around with cheese for their pretzels?! Were we at the wrong stand? I want cheese! Not food related, but my three year old really wanted to run on the field so we asked if he could after the game was over and got shot down. Pros: Enjoyable baseball. Now a Yankees affiliate, so more professional and names you'll recognize. Tickets still reasonable. Cheap parking. Good sightlines everywhere. Fan/kid (and adult) friendly venue and activities. Fun promotions like the beer bat. Food/drink much more reasonably priced than the big leagues. And the best damn announcer in sports (okay, I'm biased for my friend). Cons: Food isn't gourmet. Verdict: I don't come for food. 5 stars for the overall experience outside of that... so let's see what the Renegades can come up with! read more

This is a prototypical small town minor league baseball stadium. It is super affordable $18 a seat and $7 parking. So for $25 I had an enjoyable summer evening of NY rivalry between the Hudson Valley Renegades vs the Brooklyn Cyclones. The game was fine kids still hopeful for big league spots and the family friendly environment is what is appealing. Quirky games between innings makes for an interesting night of baseball. Was there on July 3 for fireworks and they announced it was the biggest crowd in 15 years. Parking was insane but once inside quickly found a space and so I missed the first inning. The fireworks were amazing. Lasted around 15 minutes and from section 203 was perfect viewing level. Been to dozen Cyclones games and if you get a chance head to Coney Island for an unbelievable backdrop. Still Dutchess County Stadium and the Renegades do a good job. read more

It was a great night. Beautiful weather. The Renegades VS West Virginia. Renegades 2 to 0. There are concessions, cash only. A giant slide for kids. The 7th inning shift had Irish step dancing and other activities. After the game was a long fireworks show. 8/25/19 - 2nd inning at it looks bad for the Renegades. 2-0 Tigers ahead. We attended a Renegades game for the first time in several years last evening, and we had a GREAT time! The stadium is clean and in great shape. The entire staff and security guards are just terrific - they do a wonderful job getting the crowd engaged and making the experience the most fun it can be for the kids especially! Our only complaint was the concession. I'm still honestly completely perplexed by our experience with it. Now, keep in mind, it's June. This isn't the beginning of the season nor the end. This team has several home games in a row every couple of weeks, which means they're hosting fans quite often. We were on the line, which barely moved, for over three innings. Three innings I wasn't in my seat that I paid for. The concession stand had PLENTY of people behind that counter. At least 15, maybe more. And yet, nothing was happening. Every single person who ordered, had to wait. Several minutes. I watched several people scramble to re stock a drink cooler that I didn't observe anyone actually ordering drinks from, which wasn't even that empty, yet as we neared the register (FINALLY) we heard someone call out that hot dogs will be a 10 minute wait (???) and I also heard others around us nearer to the front saying they're out of trays, and some of the menu items. This was around the second inning of the game .... It's just baffling because every other aspect of this place is so well run! Concession isn't a new concept...with that many people behind the counter I can't even fathom what they were doing, if not ringing people up and selling food. Food that is either pre made or incredibly fast to cook. This isn't rocket science. I hope they can get this operation cleaned up because otherwise, what a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back ... we'll probably just eat before we go read more

I've been there a couple of times for Renegades games, and it was a fun time. The only issue was getting out of the parking lot after the fireworks - I wish there was an easier way to do that. Stadium is clean and comfortable - people for the most part are friendly and respectful. It's an inexpensive way to spend a nice summer evening. We'll be back! read more

I cannot believe there are no reviews for this stadium. For a minor league baseball team the Renegades Games are always a lot of fun. We came here for the Hudson Valley Fair. First thing we did upon entering was visit the petting zoo. I'm guessing most of the animals had been fed through out the day bc for the most part they had no interest in our food we bought for them. There were food vendors all over - avoid the pizza... it was really thick I'm thinking they make the crust with cinnamon bc that's how it tasted - *barf*. There were a bunch of exhibitionist to see that we didn't watch bc we were mainly there for the rides. This is the first year my daughter can really go on rides now that she's 36". In total there were 6 rides that were age appropriate. We bought a $25 wrist band and kept circulating the same 6 rides over n over. (They had all the rides set up in a big circle so we literally kept going round). Can't wait for next year - we will DEF be back. *FYI the fair is in the parking lot area, not the stadium. If you plan to go do not wear flip flops like I did... I suggest sneakers!! read more

I have been attending renegades games since I was a baby. The renegades are the minor league affiliate of the Tampa bay rays. The renegades are a short season team. Meaning they do not play a complete season. Most of the players on the team have just finished college and this is there first experience with playing with a signed contract. MY brother has season tickets for the renegades right by the first base line. I have rented a suite box here. It was a good time. The food was deep fried food. No complaints it was a good time. Dutchess stadium isn't the biggest baseball stadium. But I will say ditches stadium is always packed. The staff is top notch. They really do a good job of making the games fun. Also family friendly. You will see a lot of young kids at the games. Parents: this is a great cheap activity you can bring your kids too. The players frequently sign balls and are very friendly. Another thing Dutchess stadium hosts k fest by a local radio station. If you are in Highschool it's like the coolest thing you can attend. Basically it's a concert they get big named artists to come and play. Most people may remember when rapper akon through a girl off the stage a few years back. Yeah... That was at k fest at Dutchess stadium lol. Overall the renegades and Dutchess stadium is always a good time. I have been going since I was a baby and will continue to go. This is a decent MiLB stadium. The Renegades sure know how to attract a crowd. Definitely will visit again.

Facility itself was nice, but the staff leaves much to be desired. At the ticket booth they were rude and abrasive, and the staff at the concession stand was spraying a chemical cleaner at the soda dispenser as a soda was being dispensed. read more

Not well set up. Food vendors (the ones with the more interesting dishes) do not take credit or Debit cards. Bring plenty of cash. Parking is $5. No other choices for parking and not within walking distance of any public transportation. Parking area will be a mess after a game. Expect to sit in traffic. Only one way out of the stadium.
