He was very efficient, very detail oriented and went out of his way to provide excellent service. Our ancient floor furnace quit in early Nov 2018. We contracted AZ air conditioning and Heating Inc. to bid and install a Lennox Furngas/90BTU/4T CA Only at our attic on 11/27/2018. Likes: * The bid was competitive with a Costco warranty and reward, and factory rebate. The lead time to install was timely for us. * Sales representative Mr. Ivan Balcazar, the lead of install team Mr. Luis Herrera and his crew, and customer service personnel were all quite professional courteous, and helpful. * The installation team protected the house well. They verified the location of the vent and thermostat before cutting the wall. * The crew member who removed the old floor heater and set up framing and support did a wonderful job. I am unable to judge what was going on in the attic. * Mr. Balcazar visited during the installation to make sure all was well. * Soon after installation, we did run into a problem with a faulty/erratic Lennox M30 thermostat. We called customer service. Service technicians were promptly deployed and the thermostat replaced in a timely manner. Challenges: * It took three inspections and two correction teams (also professional) to pass Culver City's inspection. Maybe AZ is not familiar with Culver City's requirements. Recommendations; * The installation team will request to use one bathroom. Though they protected the house, they did not protect the bathroom on the 1st day. It'd be a good idea also to protect the bathroom. * Do ask the owner before touching the switches in case that there were long running programs and/or sensitive electronic equipment that were turned on. All in all, we were happy with AZ Air conditioning and heating Inc.'s service. I wish I could give AZ a 4.5 star but I'll be generous and give it a 5 star. read more

Hired them through Costco for my Lennox AC and heating replacement. The crew was amazing. They literally worked 12 hours to get it done in one day. It was over 100 degrees out and they were in the attic. Never a complaint. They got the job done well and took the time at the end to teach how to use the digital thermostat. Since they work through Costco, they know any complaint would be fatal to their future work, so they take care of biz. I saw complaints about their "service" contracts but after experiencing their quality installation, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. By the way, they had to replace all my attic ducts with the allergy free / non mold ducts and they did a clean installation. The AC system works very well so far and we are happy. read more

May 8, 2019 We just completed the yearly service and maintenance procedures on the Lennox house HVAC unit performed by Felipe Briseno. As a retired mechanical engineer, it was immediately apparent Felipe was very knowledge of the tasks requiring service and maintenance and took the extra time to explain to me the reasons for the tests and their results. In the case where it was not possible for me to access the unit in the attic, Felipe took photos of the blower and the associated inlet and outlet ducts to show they were clean and had no debris. He also noticed there were finger prints on the ceiling access panel from a previous service call and he removed them. He is a truly professional service technician. read more

AZ Air installed our entire HVAC system last year (referred by Costco) and every six months we have had it serviced by them. The most recent service was about a month ago and they said all was fine but last week our practically new furnace stopped working. AZ was quick to send out a tech who discovered our furnace contained a part with a known manufacturers defect and said they'd need to order this new part (which has since been improved). I have called service and customer relations numerous times and NOBODY has called me back once to give us an update on the new part nor have they even checked on us. We have had no heat for over a week now and AZ doesn't seem to care one bit. If they are unable to get the part they should replace our furnace with a new one that does not have a manufacturers defect. We have had to borrow space heaters from neighbors just to get by. AZ never offered anything to us. We spent over $20,000 for this brand new system about a year ago and can't use it. I have left numerous messages for Monique and even spoke to her once and she promised to call back within the hour and never did. This company does not know the meaning of customer service! I have informed Costco of these issues to let them know they should not partner with a company who doesn't provide customer service. Still waiting for a resolution and HEAT. read more

Had AZ back out this year to replace my condenser and heat exchanger, they Installed a top of the line Lennox condenser and did an amazing job, the installer jovanni was super knowledgeable and talked to me periodically throughout the entire job. They stayed late and finished even with all the unforeseen problems we had with my install (not azs fault) the guys stayed and finished the job ensuring I would have air conditioning for my family the crew went above and beyond. They cleaned up and even did patch work that wasn't exactly their mess in the beginning its truly hard to find a contractor this good and honest. I am writing this email in the situation of having trouble in switch on the AC with 95F hotness in my home and your system completely failed to start the AC (Cooling and Heating system and the controller completed went to non-responsive state). I do have one year old baby and having trouble with the heat after the AC failure with in a year of installation. When your sales team have discussion with me, they have marketed that, myself and my baby have very good time with your AC/Heating system, but in the reality, when we needed cooling in my home, the system(AC) failed to start and I called your service team for immediate attention, but they have appointment around Sep 04, 2019. So I have been struggling for a 5 days. I already try to complain my DISSATISFACTION to your team. Your Sales team has estimated my home heating and cooling requirements wrongly and they have failed in estimating the correct cooling / Heating requirement for my master bedroom where I need the Cooling and Heating. I have called many times your team and emailed on the situation, but never get the solution for that problem. I highly recommend AZ! The scheduling process was easy, and I received multiple reminder calls to confirm. Everything was COVID-19 appropriate - masks, booties, hand sanitizer. The technician, Kyrone was patient, as I didn't know where all of the heating components were located in the house. He was also informed - he spotted the issues immediately and began troubleshooting. He was clear about the history of our thermostats and provided ideas about how the unit became burned out. Additionally, he discovered larger problems with the construction (new) of the HVAC components helping us to understand why we were having return problems in the first place. He also gave tips on maintenance and talked briefly about packages offered for customers. He was clear and transparent about the pricing of materials and labor. So we paid the difference to get it fixed and up to code, and things have been a little better. We still occasionally get 'smells' coming through our AC (and only when the AC is on), but it doesn't seem as strong. The technicians they dispatched couldn't find any reason it was happening. Our family had a great experience with AZ air-conditioning. They had the best price combined with rebate from Costco and the installation team was very professional: on-time, clean, and went over every detail with us. We went with the Lenox top of the line system based on XP25 heat pump, 3 zones, the most efficient air-handler and PureAir S filtration system. Replaced air ducts as well. System sizing and design was top notch. It required some thinking outside of the box because we were replacing a 30 year old system with state of the art equipment, which included complete relocation of the equipment. Now my wife is happy to have a good size pantry room instead of an old gas furnace and the backyard doesn't have an ugly condenser. The system is the efficient and very quiet. Having multiple zones is the best future - everyone in the family can have their own climate. When you go with top of the line system you expect the best and AZ delivered. Post install tuning and support is the best we experienced from any residential service companies. We definitely recommend them to anyone who has any air-conditioning projects and we will use them for any needs in the future. read more

AZ Inc. Installed AC in our Redondo Beach house. The house was never equipped nor built with any AC accommodation in the attic. There was not enough space in the attic to do such a job. Many other companies told us that it is impossible to do this AC installation job due to the very narrow attic space which could also cause permanent damage. Zack and his team were consulted and they assured us that they can make enough space in the attic to install the entire AC Lennox system without causing any harm to our house. They were efficient, professional, punctual, prompted, and precise. It took them a full day of hard work to get the job nicely completed. Zack's crew worked non stop for at least twelve hours to get the job done and in only one day as they promised. Initially, they covered the rooms, furniture, hardwood floor, and carpet to keep them clean. Finally and after the mission was accomplished, they cleaned and vacuumed the entire covered areas. The crew left the house in a very clean condition and I didn't have to do anything. Next day, Zack returned to double check that the work was done precisely. First, I must say that the experience from the time of the lead inquiry through Costco to AZ was extremely smooth. We were then contacted by the AZ sales rep. Eddy K. who was not only professional but knew what he was selling. Eddy explained what exactly would be taking place during the installation process which went with out a hitch. The installation was a great experience. The installers were professional, clean and were courteous. My faith has been restored by a company that is genuine and forthright. AZ Air Conditioning and Heating has shown me what true customer service is about, and that meeting the customers needs come first. I was so fortunate to have Ilan Bouzaglo as my sales representative (and guardian angel). He has the patience of a saint and literally walked me through a project that I was avoiding at all costs. I had to replace my HVAC system after it was red-tagged, but was overwhelmed and hesitant due to my lack of knowledge and expertise in this area. It was a big investment and purchase, and one that I was reluctant to have to make on my own. I never once felt pressured or over sold. Even after I had made my decision, I continued to call Ilan with last minute questions and/or concerns I had about the system and it's reliability. He continued to "walk me through" the process by answering in great detail what my questions or concerns were about. Always with a sense of humor, sincerity, guidance and wisdom. He put my mind at ease, even when I was second guessing my decision. His ability to translate his technical knowledge of the equipment into layman terms was hugely helpful. I was never made to feel like I was asking anything stupid, or was being a nudge. Ilan even went as far as to rush my installation through and coordinated his anticipated requirements for the day of installation. He was particularly sensitive to my and my daughters needs, which I so appreciated. But I must also mention, so were the Owners of the company by being responsive to getting things done quickly. Covid precautions were adhered to, painstakingly so. The men who came out (Raul, Gabriel, and Honor) were dreams. They were overly careful in protecting all surrounding areas in my place, cleaned up so it never looked like anyone had been there working, were so quiet that I even had to come out of the bedroom to see if anyone was there, and stayed until the job was done right. A small leak had appeared once the system was turned on and they made sure it all was addressed and even hung around to insure there wouldn't be any issues. I was even shown how to install the Ecobee thermostat app on my phone and how to program it; which is a true feat since I am technologically challenged. LOL. I was concerned about how to register and fill out the warranties for all the equipment in a timely fashion, where to locate all the serial and model numbers on the systems, and had several post installation questions that arose after. Their Customer Care Manager, Monique V. was delightful and attentive. She addressed each of my concerns, contacting whomever could best give her the correct answers AND much to my surprise and delight, informed me that they would handle all the warrantee paperwork with Lennox, Ecobee, the outside installation inspectors, and even the final sign off with the City. I was blown away! Imagine what a sigh of relief... AZ's attention to detail and follow through have exceeded my expectations. This is a company that does not stop it's customer service once the salesman writes the order. They even handed me a "MEET the TEAM" sheet which had the contact information for each manager of each of the various departments at their company, in the event anything came up at any time! I feel like a valued customer. I have been treated like a valued customer. I never felt rushed or that I was taking up too much of their time. I believe I purchased a quality Lennox system, my HVAC needs were considered at all times, and I have the backing of a reliable and honorable company that stands behind not only their product but their reputation. They will be there for all maintenance and repairs, providing the care and attention to detail at all times as if it were a new installation. This was a wonderful decision on my part... snaps to me. My AC wasn't blowing cold air. Called AZ because they sold me the system. Very nice, knowledge technician found a small leak. He added a stop leak similar to what you'd use for a flat tire and a little refrigerant to replace the little that had leaked out. The charge was $750.00! I will not be calling AZ again. read more

We've been looking for a company to install a new furnace and add A/C to our home. We decided to look into the Costco offer as a friend of ours was very pleased with his A/C installed by AZ Air Conditioning via Costco. We had several quotes from other companies, but the Costco deal through AZ was by far the best not only in price, but the additional free two year service warranty from company and knowing we have the Costco guarantee of satisfaction to all customers. This company from top to bottom is all about the customer. The crew arrived on time Saturday morning to install new A/C, relocate new furnace, with air purification system from the hallway to be suspended in our attic and install new smart thermostat. I called AZ Air Conditioning to come and check our A/C units in our house that were not cooling very good. They made it out to our house quickly and replaced two of our units that were older and not efficient. The new units are working excellent, and they also installed two thermostats that we can control from our smart phones. These guys offered us a few choices to choose from and gave us a very good price. We checked around and they were very reasonable. One thing that I have to mention is how clean of a job they did on installing these units. They covered our floors, and used gloves to install the unit. Very professional, and clean!! I am very happy with AZ and and the new system is working great. They also called us to follow-up on the service and as you could imagine, we were VERY satisfied. When the installers came, they were very professional and answered all of my questions as installation was going on. They finished when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. I purchased a new home with very old HVAC system and ducting with asbestos. I needed to replace the whole unit and remove and redo the ducting. I knew this is going to cost me money. I've contacted several companies. At the end, I chose AZ Air Conditioning and Heating Company thru Costco program. Ashton is the young sales rep that came to my house. He is punctual, polite, very knowledgable of the HVAC system. He explained to me the different models, the cost, and the benefits. He answered all my questions in great detail. He gave me a quote that completely replaces my HVAC system, ducting and everything that connects to it. His quote even includes the Air Purification System. Lennox system is not cheap, but considering what I get and with Costco 15% rebate, I went with this company, and I'm very happy that I did. On the day of the installation, the crew of about 4 people came and finish the job on the same day. Ashton sent me pictures of the unit and informed me how the installation was going while I was at work. AZ company sent someone out to check my system few days later to make sure everything is ok. We had a problem with our noisy furnace located in a hallway next to bedrooms.Technician from AZ suggested to replace the old furnace with a quieter, variable speed unit.It needs a couple of adjustments to get to the noise and temperature comfort level that we like.Technician Burton Toney did the final adjustment and we are happy with the final result.We also extended the existing supply duct that is too close to the blower. That helps fixed the noise problem. Drywalls were properly patch and paint after the work. Overall I am satisfied with their service and would recommend. read more

I would have originally highly recommended this company but this is the second winter that my husband and two little kids and I are freezing in the coldest days of winter because our heat isn't working and AZ Air Conditioning and Heating either cannot or will not fix it. Last winter, when my one-year-old was very sick, we had to call and have technicians to our house five times before they finally fixed the problem with our heat. We had a technician at our house this morning and the heat is again not working this evening and we are trying to figure out how to keep our kids warm during the night. It is extremely frustrating that this company is not taking this issue seriously. Do not go with AZ if you want a reliable heating system. read more

My Lennox 4 ton HVAC unit was installed four years ago by AZ Air Conditioning & Heating and has operated flawlessly and efficiently partly due to the quality of the equipment. The rest is due to the quarterly maintenance by AZ Air Conditioning & Heating. My most recent maintenance was performed by a service tech named Sam. As he was servicing the Lennox unit, Sam took the time to explain to me the protocols and most importantly the reason for each procedure he was doing. It was quite interesting learning about my Lennox HVAC system. Sam also took the time to explain optional upgrades to the existing system. Moved it from inside house to the attic replaced all the ducting, added lights and catwalk in the attic. Overall did a great job. So I good I had them come back and add AC. Same service. One day.
