Saw on Yelp that people get it with veggies so that's what I requested, and it was super good!! Each quesadilla slice had a good proportion of meat to veggies and was crispy on the outside with a nice amt of cheese inside. I had enough for leftovers the next day. Would recommend! Service: The restaurant was slammed that day, and for a table of 7, we had to wait 1.5 hours for a table large enough to seat us. They don't take reservations so if you have a large party, plan accordingly and do not come hungry! Our waitress wasn't around much after we placed our order. Overall, the service was mediocre. Food: The complimentary chips and salsa were so delicious. The chips were always warm and the salsa man kept the table happy with nonstop refills! I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were okay! The shrimps themselves didn't really get seasoned. I didn't like the sauce it came with, so overall my tacos were bland lol. Everyone else seemed to have loved their choices though! After a recent visit to the Dallas Arboretum, we came here for an early dinner. We hadn't been here in about five years and were hoping it would be as good as before, and it was. We started with Margaritas and their chips and salsa, all very good. For entrees my wife had the carne asada, medium rare, with a salad instead of rice. I had the beef enchilada dinner. Service Dog Harassment by Owner and Staff My friends and I wanted to sit on the patio of this establishment, but they didn't have service outside. I brought my service dog, and I always carry her service animal documentation with me. When we entered, the owner told me that I couldn't have my service dog inside. I offered to show him her documentation, but he refused to look at it and insisted that I be outside with her. We told him that we were just ordering a drink and then heading back outside, but he continued to harass us at the bar, making us feel very uncomfortable. When we asked if he would be willing to take our order outside, he rudely refused and waved his hand dismissively. I've taken my service dog everywhere with me and have never had this issue before. The absolute best and juiciest carnitas in East Dallas. The food here is ALWAYS good. They just don't miss. We have eaten our way through the menu. Nothing here disappoints. Now add to that the courtesy of the servers and you will find yourself quite comfortable. The food comes out quickly. The portions are generous without being overboard. The bar serves KILLER margaritas as well as other cocktails. The ambiance is that of a mom n pop locals spot because that is exactly what it is. I used E Bar catering for a party at my house in May. They could not have been better to work with. The communication was amazing. The food was great (the spinach mushroom quesadillas were out of this world) and very plentiful. The delivery was timely and the people were amazing. Pricing was better than other places I looked at, but I particularly appreciated E Bar's flexibility and customer service. Ordered the Jorge's tacos, and they were rather dry and simple, and to be honest, too small in terms of portions. It wasn't worth the $15, especially compared to other options on the menu. E Bar has been in my rotation since they first opened. They have expanded about three or four times, and sometimes it feels like they still need more room. People love this place, and with good reason. The patio is our favorite place to sit since it is covered and has A/C and heat, but the covers also open when the weather is nice. They have also added a tent in the parking lot with picnic tables for people to sit/social distance while they wait for a table inside. The food is still fresh and tasty. You can never go wrong with anything, but my favorites are the taco salad, cheese enchiladas or the nachos. My BF loves the Jorge tacos or the grilled chicken with extra veggies when he is eating healthy. Plus their warm chips and salsa are great. Hard to not fill up on them sometimes. Their curbside pick-up runs perfectly. You call in your order and then pay over the phone. They text you when your order is ready and you text them back the parking spot number you are in, and your food comes out. Sign your bill and you are on your way. We'd decided to visit this place after craving fajitas and drinks. When we got there, there was no wait which was great but had to dine in as the patio area was full. We were immediately greeted by our server whom we'd advised that we were first timers. The chicken was seasoned well but my friend's veggies weren't seasoned and needed salt. My taco shells were fried which gave them crunch and I did enjoy that. Service was just ok. Again, it may have been the nature of the server but there was no personality. He didn't ask us if we wanted any more drinks and our waters were not refilled. I'd asked him for sour cream to go with my tacos and never received. Luckily, My friend had some with her fajita that she didn't want. It took him a while to check on us and by that time we'd eaten and was ready for the checks. To mitigate any further delays, we had our debit cards ready to pay when he returned to the table. I was happy to see the employees all masked up and their cleaning routine after guests left. Most guests were wearing masks upon entry and leaving. Best Mexican food in town! The Jorge's tacos are one of their most popular dishes. They are crisped to perfection and served with a special spicy salsa. The Southwest salad comes with shrimp. It's a great light salad - perfect for summer time! Also, try the Meltdown - their frozen margarita & sangria swirl! To note - we also LOVE the fajitas! They serve high quality meet and all come with sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo. We ask for a side of shredded cheese and pickled jalapeños to turn it up a notch! Came here on a weeknight with a group of coworkers and the place was busy. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, and we ended up on the patio (which was perfectly okay- it was a nice day! The drinks were good, well-poured but not overly strong. The food was also tasty, but we had a couple issues with our orders. Both myself and one of my colleagues ordered specific menu items (I ordered enchiladas, he ordered something else) but we were both served tacos.
