Excellent food! My order genuinely made me so happy. The flavors felt like something that arrived straight from Chinatown, and it was incredibly nostalgic for me. Growing up, we had pan fried noodles all the time. They're harder to find now, and when I do find them, they're often disappointing. Not here. The shrimp pan fried noodles were excellent. Perfectly done and full of flavor. The crab & pork soup dumplings were delicious, and the fish cake & fish ball noodle soup totally hit the spot. Portions are generous! I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day, which is always a win. I've passed this place so many times and I'm so glad I finally gave them a try. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Also, I have to mention the packaging. Some of the best I've ever seen for delivery. Each soup dumpling came in its own separate plastic cup (if you've ordered these before, you know how easily they can arrive broken with soup everywhere). Wontons are the star here - fresh, thin-skinned, and tasting home made. The soup was a bit salty, but the rice noodles hit my cheung fun craving, even though I wish they were flat, wide noodles with a little bok choy for a heartier lunch. The container they used to separate the noodles from the soup was a genius idea; I was worried there'd be no broth left by the time it arrived, but everything held up really well. The preserved egg and pork congee was just okay, but overall they clearly do wontons and noodles well. We've been coming to E Noodle since it first opened. I chose tonight the Mixed Wok Noodles with Shrimp. It was terrific. It had that nice smokey taste called Hei which is produced by stir-frying in the wok at high heat and tossing the food in the air. It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant now that does it, and E Noodle consistently does a great job with it - the wide rice noodles were pleasantly chewey and there were plenty of fresh, tasty shrimp. I also asked for and received a few wontons in broth even though it's not on the menu. The wontons were delicious. E Noodle's wontons and dumplings are consistently excellent. While the wontons were terrific, the broth was horrible and has been for quite some time now. Our waiter, who was terrific, explained that the unpleasant fishy taste does indeed now come from fish! The broth used to be primarily chicken-based and was very fresh and delicious. Our waiter told us it's now made with chicken, pork bones and fish. The fish ruins the broth. Please E Noodle, go back to the chicken broth! On Wednesday and Saturdays, E Noodle receives roast duck from its Chinatown location. If the duck isn't stale, it's some of the best duck in the city! The cavity of the duck is rubbed with 5 spice powder and salt. So, one can have a great, reasonably priced meal (or feast with friends) at E Noodle. The restaurant is very spacious and calm. The rice rolls arrived steaming hot, and the noodles were soft, chewy, and full of flavor. I really liked the balance between the peanut and hoisin sauces -- most places tend to go heavier on the hoisin, but this one was just right. The soup dumplings are my favorite in Brooklyn. However the packing left a lot to be desired because a staple was sticking out of the receipt , pierced my finger and caused it to bleed. Not a good way to start. As for the food, the pork and crab dumplings tasted a bit off to me, but the pork dumplings and scallion pancakes were quite tasty. Just had a late lunch here with hubby. We shared the congee with pork & century egg, and the curry with fried tofu. Both dishes were excellent, and you can't beat the price. The congee was the perfect consistency and had plenty of the egg & pork. The curry had cubes of tofu, creamy on the inside, and chunks of potato, crispy on the outside. This place was recommended by a friend's cousin when he came into town. We decided to order delivery and were pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The steamed soup dumplings were placed in individual cups, though only come 6 in an order and are on the pricier side. They were really good and held up in an over 30 minute ride home. The Hong Kong style rice noodles are good too and the sauces are nice, but they were a little thicker and more solid that I would have preferred. The hot pot rice with Chinese sausage was good and came with various types of the chopped meat and broccoli - I got mine sans scallions. I have since been back here at least 4 times in the last 2-3 weeks. Yummy, but a little pricey so can't be there so often. Would recommend for really good soup dumplings in Brooklyn :) read more

E Noodle is supposedly good. I've had takeout in the past and the reviews are generally good, but my most recent visit was mediocre at best. I don't know if we ordered the wrong dishes, but everything was bland. We ordered 3 dim sum dishes for $12 (lo mei gai, shu mai, and char siu bao) The buns were ok - nice and fluffy white w sweet/savory pork filling. The lo mei gai was dry and the rice was getting hard with very little filling. The shumai was just bland pork. we also ordered the rice rolls, tripe, and shrimp fried rice. The rice rolls were great - smooth, dense, but bouncy rice noodles covered in peanutty goodness. The tripe was fine and made better by dipping it in hot oil. The shrimp fried rice had a decent amount of shrimp but was quite bland overall. The menu is extensive so I would give it another go, but maybe for other dishes next time. read more

Maybe I'm bias because this is my favorite cuisine and I felt like I was deprived of it in the recent weeks, but we got takeout here a few nights ago and were just blown away by how good everything tasted. Now, I don't usually recommend UberEats since ordering directly from the business is the best way to go, but I live so far from this location that UberEats was our only option. And honestly, bless E Noodle for doing that for us (me). In fact, if you spend at least $30 via UberEats, E Noodle will give you a free order of their famous soup dumplings. Now that's what I call a DEAL. However, everything on the menu seems a bit pricier than it should be and I'm not sure if that's UberEats' fault or if the business spiked the prices to offset the fees the app steals from them. Either way, E Noodle is a great delivery option if you're really craving Chinese. I'm very familiar with their Chinatown location so I knew they are legit and weren't going to disappoint. I tried this spot a while back and found the food to be way too salty, but this time was MUCH better We ordered the Steamed Crabmeat Soup Dumplings which were delicious and packaged PERFECTLY for delivery in individual cups, as well as the Chicken and Broccoli and Chinese Broccoli and Yau Choy with Oyster Sauce. I did request brown rice with my Chicken and Brocc but still ended up getting white rice, so I advise to call to order instead of using the Yelp app if you are making any special requests for your order. If you told me I could get delicious soup dumplings in bay ridge, I'd probably say you're lying. I usually come to bay ridge for Italian or Mediterranean food, not usually for Chinese. E noodle offers soup dumplings and dim sum along with quite a few cha Chang tan (Hong Kong style foods). The iced lemon tea brought me back to hot summers in Hong Kong. I've ordered from them a few times during Covid and it was the same quality and satisfied the same cravings. I applaud them for their to go packaging, it does matter. Each soup dumpling was inside a plastic container not like the other places just stuffs it into one little box. I had no issue with ordering soup dumplings because of how careful my food was wrapped up. Some may think it was wasteful of plastic but it was very important since there's no indoor dining. Order ahead of time, show up when the food is done and just devour your dumplings in the car haha. Btw, parking in the area is a pain! Other dishes that stood out to me is their claypot rice, beef brisket hk lo mein, pork kidney & liver casserole, and curry squid & pork rinds. We ordered roast duck over rice, general tso over rice, pork soup dumplings, and roast pork lo mein HK style. Everything was honestly great except there was wayyyy too much rice in each dish compared to meat! The duck dish had ~5 pieces of duck with a giant pile of rice under it. Same goes for the general tso chicken. The prices were cheap though so I guess that explains the majority of the rice. Good restaurant This place is great! A friend recommended it, so we drove up for our first indoor restaurant meal in almost a year. Their Covid protocols are perfect: contactless temperature check, hand sanitizer, masks, etc. They have high booths between customers.The food was excellent! Takeout during Covid - I called for pickup and my order was ready in 15 mins. Everything was extremely well packaged to go which is almost unexpected but super necessary considering only takeaway and delivery is available. My soup dumplings were individually placed in little condiment cups with the soy sauce on the side - I loved this so much haha. I also got the fried dumplings which were not soggy at all and quite tasty. The sauce was on the side. The only thing I didn't 100% love and was probably my own fault was the peanut soy sauce rice rolls. The sauce is on the side yes but this dish is probably better fresh and eaten within maybe 15 mins so the sauce doesn't begin to get a little solid. My friend surprised me with a birthday dinner delivery from here with some of my favorite dishes! Talk about quality service! - Wonton noodle soup: one of my go to's! They packaged it nicely, separating the soup from the wonton and noodles. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to forget about the popular soup dumpling chains in Manhattan and come to E Noodle instead! Seriously, E Noodle is super spacious and can hold large parties. Y'all don't need to wait on line no more. Our server of the night was super nice and of course we flexed our Cantonese with her. Hopefully she understood us just fine. They have a 3 for $10 dim sum deal, which is honestly such a great price given how expensive dim sum is these days. We had two trays of crystal shrimp dumpling and one ham sui gok. These crystal shrimp dumplings arrived steaming hot and that's exactly what I like. The skin was quite thin and nicely paired with a crunchy piece of shrimp inside. I freaking love this dumpling. Do y'all sell this in bulk because I can't go back anymore ! The ham sui gok had a pretty standard taste to it. It wasn't as crispy as I expected and was quite tiny. We also ordered the homemade soy milk, which tasted amazing. If you purchased soy milk from the Lily Bloom bakery before, you understand the flavor. What an immaculate and clean taste! Now, moving on to the mains. The shanghai soup dumpling is hands down one of the best in New York. Seriously, I've tried so many places and this is the only restaurant where the dumpling actually has a lot of soup/meat and thin wrapping. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SOUP DUMPLINGS YALL! The monster ramen reminds me a lot of yong tau foo from Malaysian dishes. It's a mixture of fish balls, ramen, chili oil, and fried tofu.
