You must try the Korean fried chicken! My husband orders Korean fried chicken from many restaurants and he said E Ohi's was the best. It is very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (unlike all the others he has tried which were dry or hard ). We also held my daughter's graduation party there and all of the guests were commenting on how good the chicken was. I also recommend the sizzling platter kalbi. The presentation of it was spectacular and the taste superb! We also have ordered the volcano fries every time and everyone gobbles them up so quickly! I personally really enjoyed the stuffed cheeseburger. It was so gigantic that the only problem was how to bite it! My son also liked their steak and pasta (tried on different visits). He said the steak was a good cut, marinated and cooked just the way he wanted it. Sorry, no pics. The food was so good that we dove right in and forgot to take pics each time. For parties, E Ohi's crew really took care of us and made it easy to plan the grad party. It is an old, small clubhouse, and when E Ohi took over, we were pleasantly surprised at how nicely decorated it was. They really spruced it up from how it was before. E'ohi is one of our favorite places to visit, especially during traffic rush hour. We'll have food and drinks while we wait for the traffic to die down and we also take food home for the kids. The service and food is top-notch, and the owners are very friendly and courteous. We have probably tried every item on the menu lol. Our ultimate favorites are the lemon garlic cream pastas, sizzling kalbi, sizzling steak, burgers/hamburger steak/loco moco (made w/homemade patty) & fried saimin w/added shrimp or meats. We appreciate the variety of entertainment they have... live music, karaoke, magic shows, and comedy nights. I am a member at the Moanalua Golf Course where the restaurant is located and I enjoy lunch on site. I have my two favorite meals, the Korean Chicken with a side salad and the Ahi burger with fries, but the menu is good and they continue to increase their range of meals. First Time Visit - Disappointing Experience We tried this place for the first time on a Thursday night. When we walked in, there weren't many people, and the overall atmosphere felt dark and a bit depressing--it's hard to explain exactly, but it just didn't feel inviting. Since it was our first time, we weren't sure if we should just seat ourselves or wait to be helped. There was no host or anyone at the front to greet customers, which is unusual for most restaurants. We stood there for a couple of minutes until a woman who was chatting with a customer came over and told us we could sit. At first, I thought she was another customer--turns out she was the waitress. After we placed our order, I noticed a man stand up from one of the tables and head into the kitchen. I was shocked to realize he was the chef. Just like the waitress, I initially thought she was a customer too. At that moment, I started to understand why the place wasn't busy. We ordered the garlic fries and their so-called "famous" lemon pasta. The fries were drenched in butter--so much so that they were basically swimming in it. As for the pasta, it was honestly terrible. I only took one bite and couldn't eat more. I had my husband try it too, and he didn't like it either. We didn't want to be rude, so we decided to take it to go. But while I was transferring the pasta into the takeout container, I found a sticky barcode label from a lemon peel mixed in with the food--you know, the kind you see on store-bought lemons. That was the final straw. We ended up just leaving the takeout box there and walked out. To top it all off, we were apparently the last customers to order food, and shortly after, we saw the waitress, chef, and bartender taking shots together. Nice hidden gem tucked in Moanaloa. My friend and I by happenstance saw this place walking by in the neighborhood. The parking was easy and plentiful. I enjoyed the mochi pancakes, nice and crispy on the edges and fluffy on the inside. The grilled garlic butter salmon and my friend's furikake salmon was yummy. I enjoyed the classic Mac salad. I thought the furikake salmon was more moist. Hats off to the chef making well balanced flavor dishes. Solid classic local meals to eat with friends or family. Good food, bad service sums it up. I've eaten here a couple times. Each time food was great, but service and overall management is really bad. I figured the first time was due to the restaurant just opening. Second time waited 45 minutes, even after asking waitress about food status. Only after long time when someone else came by, they must've figured our order wasn't even placed. Owner needs to send someone to management training and look into cutting out servers entirely for an order window. Prices also went up on some items. read more

Everything about this place is magical. I've been here many times since they've opened. We love to come when there are live bands playing, usually Thursdays. I can say I tried mostly everything on the menu. They have different specials daily and I like to try those since they're not the norm. Some specials they've had so far, mac n cheese (diff variations), philly cheesesteak sandwich, lemongrass anything (choose a dish from their menu to eat with their lemongrass sauce), hawaiian plate, and oxtail soup (my favorite)! Everything is so flavorful. You can't go wrong with picking anything off the menu as they all taste good! I'll have to do another review because all my pictures can't fit. If you like spicy, ask for their spicy sauce on the side. It's just the right amount of spice & it's really delicious with their butter garlic salmon that is cooked to perfection. On 5/25/25, we celebrated my brother's belated birthday. We went to E Ohi Restaurant and was greeted quickly by Chacha. She was very friendly and brought us water without us even asking, which many restaurants have forgotten to do these days. One of the owners, Billie, came by to introduce herself and was very friendly. She informed us of some details on the restaurant which included a buffet possibly coming back. Our food came rather quick, and we had the sizzling steak and kalbi. Both dishes were very delicious and generous, yet the costs were pretty reasonable. Our family had lived in Moanalua Valley for many years, and was excited that the restaurant is now open to the public. I rate an establishment by looking at 3 areas, Service, Quality and Presentation of a dish and overall ambience etc. lets start this way, Sunday evening about 6:30pm, 3 gentlemen at bar and my group (11, 5 adults and 6 kids). We are the only ones having dinner. The dishes came out in a timely manner when the order was right. A few dishes got mixed up.. minor, right? Hold that thought. Dishes were average, nothing spectacular, as expected, ie. hamburger and fries. What did grab my attention was the portions of the entrees. I ordered grilled Ahi with butter garlic, taste was fine, average, nothing hoteworthy or to brag about. I got 1 scoop rice and 1 scoop mac salad (not that great, I think L&L is better) and 1 small piece ahi. I call that a mini not a dinner entree...$18 bucks. Service, Service, Service, server wasnt attentive, mixed up order, needed to remind a few times on items needed (straw, water refill) you know, got kids. I felt she was servicing the 3 gentlemen at the bar more than our group. I literarally shouted to get her attention, mine you, i could have been more professional about this and walked to the bar to ask for assistance.. but why.. .we were the only ones in there.. with only 1 gentleman at the bar now...Ambience, open air, humid night, tvs are on.. nothing to note here. Went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch to give it a try as we heard it was under new management. Place is nice just needs some updating and was not busy at all about a few diners. We ordered their fried noodles, grilled cheese sandwich with fries for our little one, sizzling steak with onions and mushrooms and ahi poke. The fried Noodles seemed a little burnt from the flat top or something. The texture of the ahi poke spongy.the sizzling steak barely had mushrooms and meat that it got burned from the hot stone that it was hard to eat almost not edible from the burn on the sides. We told the waitress about it because I think she noticed we didn't eat all our food. She offered to take out the steak from the ticket but we refused. She was very nice and apologetic.But I don't think we'll be back again, unfortunately. read more

We wanted to try it since they first opened to the public. Their signature house salad was awesome. My husband ordered the Ahi plate and it was a extremely small serving with the house salad. I ordered the Korean chicken and it was mostly batter and extremely salty it had too much oyster sauce and hardly any chicken. As appetizers we ordered the wings but they said it was still frozen so we ordered poke nachos then we ordered garlic soy beans we got the soy beans and the Nachos when we were done with our meal. We figured only had one server who was great but when we got home the poke nachos had very small portion of poke it was a little disappointing but the server did her best. It's so hard to find a place to eat after 9pm on a Sunday nowadays (that isn't Zippy's) but we found this place and love it! Our server and the staff was so friendly and the food was so ono! You can always tell how good a local place is by the garlic fries and loco moco. Both were super yummy! I got to sample the loco moco before my son swallowed it up -- just as good as my grandma's. I got the stuffed burger which was really juicy and huge. My husband had to help me finish it. As for the atmosphere, It seems a little dark outside, but there was a lot of parking and the restaurant itself was nice (it's a golf course restaurant and those are usually known for good food and relaxing atmosphere). By the time we were fully served, our first guests were already done or for those who waited until everyone had been served, their food was cold. It seemed like there was only 1 cook, making the dishes one at a time, consecutively. My only negative comment about the food, was the macaroni in my mac salad was undercooked (chewy). Went to eat after our round of golf we tried to order a Bloody Mary and Old fashioned but they didn't have ingredients to make which is totally fine but odd given it had a full bar. I then settled for a margarita and the server/bartender didn't even seem entirely sure she could make but then said she could. The margarita was in a really small glass with mostly ice and tasted like 95% bottled lime juice and 5% tequila and nothing els for 12$ not worth it at all. My friend ordered a beer and BBQ chicken he was very disappointed the beer was flat and wasn't even a full pint just a mini glass not even full to the brim. He also said his chicken was really dry and the portion was pretty shocking in my opinion and didn't look appetizing. Ordered the breakfast steak and eggs and was very disappointed asked for medium rare and it sure looks like well done and for $18 I definitely expected more steak. Ordered the regular steak at the same price last week and had way more than this plate. Both plates are priced at $18 on Yelp. Also last week I ordered the Ahi Sea of Love and was charged $28 and on Yelp was $24 and again I was disappointed with this order the sashimi was not slice like the picture instead was in tiny cubes and the fried ahi was also tiny cubes !! So not worth $28 !! Sorry for the negative feedback but hopefully in time they will improve on the quality and portions. read more
