Today I got to try the Kimchee Steak with Macaroni Salad & Rice and it was very tasty. Also, the service was very friendly and helpful.

The Lemon Cream Pasta is the go-to here... Can I say, "WHOA!!!" The name explains the flavor... It's a pretty good dish. I gotta go b ack and try other things on the menu... The place definitely feels like it's run by a local family at a potluck... The dining area seemed a little pop-up shop to me. The staff is super friendly. Looks like a great spot to go to for some drinks and watch the game.

Very fast service Public welcome at Golf Course. Very old, but employees are very happy. I had a cheeseburger fries and a coke under $15. I could have used more seasoning on the burger, but overall it was filling and hit the spot.

It's always great to have a restaurant/Bar at a golf course. After a long day on the course. It's nice to sit and enjoy a few beers and pupu's. Foods good so far. Only been here twice, definitely coming back for more. Service needs a little work, but not bad.

Prime Rib with Salad, Mashed potato, horseradish, and Au jus.

I will start with a WOW. Outdoor, indoor, and private room available. We went to dinner on Friday night for their Prim Rib special. They often sell out by 6:30 - 7pm so make reservations to reserve your prime rib. They also have live music while we were there. The prime rib was excellent and the price is reasonable. The service was beyond excellent. The staff and the musicians were friendly. The band even said goodbyes when they left!!! Definitely will come back and try other dishes such as Kalbi and Scampi.

The food was delicious. The Poke nachos was so fresh tasting definitely a MUST! The Sizzling tofu is a take on Sizzling steak w onions and mushrooms, very tasty. Chicharon Chicken wings were savory and tangy! Fried saimin and Korean fried chicken! Very good for after work or just stopping in for a great meal. The staff was very pleasant, kept checking if we needed anything, and made sure everything was good. Strongly recommend! We will be repeat customers!

Service was good although it was lunch rush hour. Everyone in group was pleased with their selections in food ordered, and portions were good.

I definitely and highly recommend E Ohi restaurant ! Waitress KELS was very attentive and very nice and helpful! She made sure we were ok and making sure if we needed anything else such as Condiments and always filling our water cups! We were sitting outside in the patio KELS found a table near the bar area and cleaned the table and ask us to have a seat inside which was much cooler and we were able to watch sports on Tv and listen to the great Hawaiian local music! The cook came outside and greeted us and that was very nice we thanked him for the onolicious local food! Thank you everyone at E Ohi restaurant! Nice meeting the owner Mike thank you for the hospitality your staff is amazing! Definitely we will return and spread the word to come and eat here! God bless and Have a Wonderful evening!

After a round of golf at the Moanalua Golf Course, we met with my husband's in-laws for breakfast/brunch at E Ohi Restaurant. The quaint, casual, low-key restaurant overlooks part of the historic 9-hole course, a view of Kaiser Moanalua through the trees, and the parking lot. The restaurant is the second building past the course starter and clubhouse. We sat on the veranda overlooking the parking lot, where our friendly server, Billie, greeted us. She pointed out their daily specials posted on a nearby chalkboard while handing out the menus and took our coffee beverage orders. The front side of the menu listed breakfast, pupus (appetizers), and salads, and the menu's backside listed entrees, sides, and keiki (children). When Billie returned to our table with our beverages, we were ready to order the Golfer's Breakfast Special we heard so much about. Our foursome made it easy since we wanted the same menu item. Meanwhile, the clubhouse started to fill with others, and I noticed that only Billie managed the front of the house, and there appeared to be only one cook on duty. We sipped on our coffee and iced water while having a fun get-together and didn't mind the 30-minute wait for our breakfasts to be delivered. The Golfer's Breakfast Special was a typical local-style and filling meal, but we noticed a discrepancy on our plates since we only received one scoop of fried rice instead of the two as advertised. Nonetheless, the local-style breakfast special cost only $15, we received several coffee refills without asking, and we enjoyed the company of my husband's in-laws, so the wait time wasn't a problem.

KFC - sorry 1/2 gone before I remembered to get a photo. It's a large portion, believe me!

One more thing. I think they ran out of the bread for the garlic bread as we were served what looks like a slice of Sandwich bread cut into three pieces. Oh boy.

The food was great as always. Service was attentive. Ambiance was romantic, fun, & party vibe all in one! It changes as crowd does. They show all kinds of sports from NFL football, MMA, & even high school sports. They even have live music, which is my favorite! Did I mention they also have karaoke? Sometimes they have special events like comedy shows, magic shows & night markets. They never cease to amaze me! We have tried everything & love all so far. My favorites are the crinkle fries with their mustard sauce, loco moco, stuffed cheeseburger, tofu fried steak, oxtail soup (on special), steak, poke nachos. Ok, that was a lot of faves. Honestly, everything is good. Come & try it all. You will not be disappointed!

Breakfast in Moanalua, Honolulu, Hawaii... Using my Yelp app, I found a restaurant at a golf course! Moanalua Golf Course is supposed to be the oldest course on the island! It only has 9 holes... E Ohi Restaurant is on the second level of the main building. Restrooms are downstairs - men's on the left and women's on the right. Don't expect a boujie place. This is old school... The restaurant is an open-air, casual, local style place with Aloha-spirit service. It looked like a new gal was in training. Everyone was friendly and welcoming! I decided to get the Golfer's Breakfast, which included a pancake, fried rice, Veggie omelet, spam, Portuguese sausage, bacon, and link sausage. The veggie omelet had tomatoes, onion, spinach, mushrooms, onion, and cheese in it. The fried rice tasted like garlic fried rice, and it had some bits of kamaboko in it! I gobbled down the pancake first because it had a little crisp on the edges. I didn't finish my meal because a fly landed on my fried rice. I kept chasing him away, but when he landed on my omelet, I gave up. LOL! I would return and order more menu items! Parking was free and easy! I appreciate that!

There are only a hand full of tables inside and a small bar area, but there is also outdoor seating outside, too! A neat fact is that there were pictures posted from when the shop first opened up and to see They Daley as a fixture in Chinatown is amazing since they've stuck around and adapted to the development around. The burger was delicious, too. They have an aioli sauce that was good with diced up pickles. I came in ready to experience a life-changing Wagyu burger... the kind that makes you question…read moreevery burger you've ever eaten. Instead, I had a really good burger. I ordered the Wagyu Deluxe Burger, and don't get me wrong--it was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on a soft, slightly sweet bun that tied everything together nicely. It was delicious! But if you blindfolded me, I don't know if I could confidently tell you it was Wagyu. It tasted very similar to a really good smash burger, so unless you're trying to impress your taste buds (or your wallet), I'd probably just order the original smash burger next time. One thing to keep in mind: there was only one guy running the whole operation when I visited. He was taking orders, cooking, and doing everything short of cloning himself. So if the place gets busy, expect a little wait. Honestly, respect to him for keeping it all together. Parking is a bit of a treasure hunt since there are only a few stalls. I got lucky and snagged the last spot, but street parking may be your backup plan. The inside was clean, spacious, and a comfortable place to enjoy your meal. Overall, I'd definitely come back--next time I'll save a few bucks, grab the original smash burger, and let the lone burger superhero work his magic.

Along with two other people waiting for takeout, there were also about five parties dining in still waiting for their food. I ended up receiving my order at 1:57 PM. For a single burger, that felt like a pretty long wait -- especially after already waiting inside the restaurant for around 20 minutes with no updates. If an order is given a pickup time, it should ideally be ready or close to ready by then. That was definitely the biggest downside of the experience. The burger itself was good, though not quite worth the 40-45 minute wait overall. I ordered the Umami Wagyu Cheeseburger. It had good flavor, but it was pretty messy, and honestly, I couldn't really tell much of a difference from regular beef. I'm not sure the "wagyu" aspect added much for me personally. I'm usually a very patient person, but this experience left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I can only imagine how long the dine-in customers were waiting. I'm glad I had the chance to try it, but I'm not sure if I'd come back.

Steel Blue Zipped Up Hoodie ($59.95): Soft and comfortable, I wished the logo included "Kalihi, Hawaii" has a geographic reference point for those unfamiliar with Hawaii https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Q9FDNr7akJB_fRWYjKiwPw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. Bierfurdrinkin Munich Style Hefeweizen 5.9% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.50): Citrusy, malty, and metallic - prost https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fhk029KiJRKzuNIUDea70g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! Ginger Hard Seltzer 4.1% ABV 16floz Draft ($7.00): Light, ginger, and crisp - that tingling feeling https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Gr88pclrQi9Wn-lNKmKSfQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! Round Logo Stickers ($3.00 x2): I loved stickers and enjoyed placing them at other breweries to spread the love https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Z27MJSvq_s9Yitx0_d24IA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE I easily found a seat at the bar, warmly greeted by a woman then later by young energetic staff members (Sarah!), and the beers came out quick and easy with a smile. All was good - mahalo! PARKING (FREE) No onsite parking, but there are plenty of spots along the main drag of Moowaa St. and the surrounding streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located in an industrial area inside a large warehouse-type structure, there was plenty of inside seating that utilized both barstools and chairs/tables throughout https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=wfMHyB9biv8cNBcx662M5g&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, a section for special events https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=437IamG4bKpajhXpQDF1Sw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw, hardly any wall decorations, and a visible beer menu hung up on a wall https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=kJTAxZZzXI-DfxL6PCs52A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. There was one TV while cool indie rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=6zpU2FaaOg2_-SzOfw3agg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Kalihi Beer was a hit with me! The patrons were awesome, prices were comparable, service very friendly, beers were tasty but wished they had more variety, and the food options were very limited. This was also a family and pet-friendly (events on certain nights) place. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $145.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
