Pretty good ramen spot with a variety of hot and cold ramen. It's also open until 11pm unlike most ramen places so it could make for a good late night spot. Our server was very friendly and the food came out quick. All the tables were booths so it was comfortable. The cold noodle wasn't bad. I probably wouldn't get it again since I prefer hot ramen with broth, but I wanted to try something different.

From the outside, this place doesn't necessarily stand out. However, as soon as you walk in, the cleanliness, beautiful wooden accents, relaxing Japanese music, and beautiful dim lighting is very inviting and pleasant to be around. The menu is easy to read/understand, and staff are friendly :) we did take out this time but definitely wanting to come back for a dine in experience! At the front they even sell exclusive Japanese keychains of mini ramen bowls and tiny keychain flasks that are super cute. We got a katsu don and a katsu curry rice. Both were soooo good and were very generous portion sizes! Can't wait to come back and try their ramen :))

Honestly. New facility everything is so clean. Ramen is SO delicious. I really need a nap after I eat it, but it's one of the best meals after a long day of work. Thank you for coming next to my house.

True to size serving and the broth is just right on creaminess and taste - definitely check them out!

The broth is HOT so beware, but I think that's what made the dish 10x better. You know it's going to be good when they're yelling at one another in the kitchen. Flavor was there and the only way I can describe it is a light, umami, earthy flavor. I was happy with the service and hospitality. My server was so sweet and she even gave me a little keychain!

Authentic Japanese Ramen Review by Miss Doubtfire…read more Absolutely loved the ramen here! The flavors are authentic, rich, and truly remind me of a real Japanese ramen shop. You can tell the chefs put a lot of care and skill into every bowl, from the broth to the noodles and toppings. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. It's not just great food--it feels like an authentic Japanese dining experience. If you love real ramen and appreciate quality food, great chefs, friendly service, and a clean atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

This had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was light and refreshing and balanced the rest of the flavors of the meal. I started with the seaweed salad. It was a solid seaweed salad. Good seasoning and texture. It was a good portion size as well. Melissa and Jonathan had the gyoza. They were stuffed full of meat, but I felt like the seasoning was a little less than and also they were unevenly cooked. I still tried one though because a gyoza is a gyoza. As my main, I had the karamiso ramen with a spicy miso based broth with seasoned ground chicken, veggies and chili threads for an extra kick. I enjoyed this bowl of ramen. It was the perfect level of spice. I am partial to ground meat in ramen, so I liked that this was an option. The veggies were cooked al dente which I appreciated, and the broth was filling and flavorful. The noodles were thin which is my favorite type. Attentive service here. OUr water cups were always filled no matter how hot the ramen was. Solid meal here.

I've tried this ramen spot a few times now. The first few times I came I was very satisfied with…read morethe quality of the ramen and the delicious flavor of the broth. Most recently, my friend ordered ramen that was more sprouts than ramen noodles which was disappointing. It's nice that the ramen spot is connected to the thai restaurant because your table can order from either/both places. The ramen side is smaller, decent customer service, and parking can be a little tricky due to it being off 16th and across the park.

I learned of another good ramen spot in Midtown. Surprisingly, one of the best ramen spots I've…read morebeen to in Sac! I got the black ramen garlic which came with the usual toppings: roasted pork chashu , corn, green onions, bean sprouts, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and actual fried garlic. The whole garlic cloves were plentiful and so much flavor. The description says fried, but they are so buttery soft, they taste more like they've been roasted or baked in the oven. I will 100/100 always order this ramen. Very flavorful broth. My husband got the chicken ramen, which I tasted, and it too had a flavorful broth. You choose your spicy level. I got medium which was basically mild. The portion and price make this a great deal for a quick dinner in Midtown. I love the late hours and the speed of which our food came out. We ordered the geso (fried squid) and the veggie tempura. I do not recommend the tempura. The batter was thick like carnival onion rings. They need to use panko for breading. The geso was ok, and served with an aioli sauce. Stick with the ramen. No need to waste stomach space on their appetizers. The right half of the restaurant is for Ramen 101, and the other side is for Orchid Thai. You order at the counter and get a number, find a seat. The servers came around and checked on us and helped us with any requests. The nice ambiance from the Thai side carried over to the Ramen side, but both casual. If you didn't know about Ramen 101, now you know.
