this place has the best pho going in the Woodlands right now. It's tucked in the corner of the Sam Moon shopping center but doesn't look like it on the inside, it's got a very open contemporary feel. We came in just before closing but the staff was effusively friendly and very happy to accommodate us. Appetizers were very good, we had a spring roll and a barbecue chicken roll. Both were excellent. The pho, the pho! It's a dark broth, a little salty, a little fatty, aromatic spices -- just about perfect. Excellent quality meat and lots of it. Outstanding, it was so good I really didn't want to mess with the hoisin and sriracha. For dessert we had something like an iced caramel cafe su da flan, it was amazing, and gone in about 30 seconds. Numbers Numbers Numbers for a the new year! Service 10 out of 10 exceptional service, I honestly don't have any complaints. My glass stayed full and the servers give you an ample amount of time for each dish to be finished. Food 9.5 out of 10. What I got was the chicken rice plate.... The Hen was so crispy and juicy! I can't stop raving about how delicious it was with the teriyaki dipping sauce. The appetizers I had were pretty good as well. The traditional Spring Rolls which was good and I also had BBQ rolls*? (don't quote me verbatim on the name) but they were okay. The dipping sauce was a step in the right direction, but the texture of the roll itself was sort of eh, but definitely good. Cleanliness 10 out of 10 Very clean, quiet and comfortable restaurant. ALL IN ALL I would return without question! I plan on it this weekend just to make sure it's not a 1 time fluke. read more

Food was good, but the worker's are shady. Took my card to pay and didn't return it. Acted like they did. Locked my card and 4 hours later tried to make a purchase with my card. Reported the fraud!!!! BEWARE!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they did return it, they are still writing down your card info!!!! read more

First time here. My wife and I saw it right before Christmas as we were at Sam Moon buying gifts. We finally got the time to come back and wow! Really good service. The manager just came over and personally asked us how we enjoyed the meal and stayed to chat with us for several minutes. I had the stir fried beef and lemongrass bowl with noodles. V1 on the menu Excellent! Very flavorful. My wife got the pho with filet P2. Probably the best we've had in the area and we've been to almost all the places around here that serve pho. Very generous portion of beef in the soup as well. They also serve salted lemonade which is pretty rare around here. Very tasty!! This will be a new go to place for us. read more

Holy moly...soooo delicious! We ate so much food, and feel full but not miserable. The staff was kind and knowledgeable, and the food was excellent! We tried the bbq wraps, pork spring rolls, Korean short ribs, Com Bo Luc Lac, Pho Tai, Pho Ga, and somehow had room for the flan and an avocado smoothie. Highly recommend all the dishes! I had a Dr appointment nearby and wanted to try something new & different for lunch so I Yelped and when I saw 5 stars it was a no brainer. I would happily have given it 10 stars if that were offered. No complaints what so ever. I've been hearing about EAD for sometime now, tonight we finally made it over for dinner. Started with the BBQ spring rolls. One word. Outstanding. On to the Pho. I can say the depth of the broth, the fresh vegi's. So good. Service was on point. Right there when needed. Will be back to try something differen Ventured out tonight and EID was our target restaurant for tonight. Again, everything was over the top good. Since we're still not eating at restaurant yet we got our order to go. We got the BBQ Spring rolls, BBQ Pork and vermicelli, BBQ Pork fried rice with Beef Rattles. Wow. On point. Very good. Out running errands and searched for a quick spot to have lunch which can be challenging in this area. So glad this place came up. Service was quick even though they became increasingly busy. Fried rice with shrimp was of superb quality, one of the best i've ever had! Vietnamese egg rolls were fantastic and the fish sauce not too sweet. Great place! read more

Best Vietnamese restaurant in a 40 mile radius hands down! We ate here a couple of weeks ago and LOVED it. Fresh delicious Vietnamese food served with HERBS, just like it's supposed to be! Service was attentive, the restaurant was clean and the pho was phenomenal. You can immediately tell that this is slow cooked pho broth and no shortcuts have been taken. The ginger, star anise and fish sauce are all present and create a broth that is rich and filling without being overly fatty or greasy. The (A1) Cha Gio is amazing when they're wrapped with the accompanying lettuce and herbs. Our server also recommended (A3) Goi Cuon Thit Nuong and the pork was perfectly cooked with its edges lightly seared but yet not overdone and wrapped in what seemed like homemade rice paper. Today, I found out that this restaurant is owned by a relative of what has been my favorite Vietnamese place in Houston. No longer will we have to drive all the way downtown! Been here a few times and enjoyed the pho. A little heavy on the broth. And light on the noodles & beef, but overall good pho taste. We tried the curry on our last visit and it was "no bueno".. salty and not curry like at all. So recommend the pho. The restaurant is nice and clean, but steer clear of the curry. There is also an appetizer that is a bbq wrap, which is really good. read more

We eat here regularly! The goal is once a week, but occasionally, we have to wait two weeks! The food is fresh, delicious. We consistently order the same items every time and the quality of the ingredients has never been compromised...yet. We have tried so many variations of Vietnamese cuisine in the local are and they were a fail...but EAD has hit it spot on! The only area they can "improve on" is to make sure they have the appetizer "A6" in decent supply. We have encountered on more than one occasion the restaurant runs out (due to such popularity). I think its time to take it up a notch and add a few more enticing dishes...nothing too crazy...keep it simple (ex. Banh Cuon dishes). It can only get better from here! read more

I love pho, so when we moved to the area I was on a mission to find a pho joint to fill pho cravings. EAD has a wonderful broth that I feel is key to good pho. Ingredients are fresh! I've ordered both in the restaurant and to-go, and when you order to-go the meat is still nice and pink, sliced thinly perfect to cook in the always piping hot broth. The Thai basil comes in bunches, another key to great pho! Everything together is delicious! The kitchen is consistent as I've had the same great taste each time. #1 service! #1 pho! Everything from fried rice to an amazing assortment of pho. Very polite and clean! I had a mouth-watering "beef and charred brisket pho" and an iced coffee. Iced coffee experience starts by watching a traditional expresso drip into a glass of condensed milk at your table. Waiter later returns to serve a glass (filled with ice) to drizzle your extremely fresh (and strong) coffee mix into. Wish I had another one in my hand right now. I got my food delivered. I love pho! The problem I have had with the various restaurants I have tried is the broth is too salty. I had the pho with meatballs and filet (rare). The broth was so flavorful but not with salt. The meatballs were typical of any other pho I have had. The filet was shaved and it was so tender after warming in the broth. I also ordered the spring rolls. The peanut sauce had a nice little bit of spice which was nice. read more
