We actually wanted to go to the Wandering Horse Buffet at Talking Stick Resort but since they were closed until next week we figured we'd wander over to the buffet at its sister casino so that we could eat like a horse! The Eagles buffet offers daily themed menus for lunch and dinner such as crab legs day, fresh seafood day, and prime rib day. As a result the prices vary from day to day depending on what the daily special is. They also offer a dim sum buffet on the weekdays for lunch which sounds very intriguing! We went on Friday night which was touted as "Fresh seafood day" which included items such as a mighty looking baked salmon at the carving station, Jonah crab, snow crab legs, shrimp, raw oyster, orange roughy, and mussels with clams. As for other meats, they offered flat iron steak, carved prime rib, fried chicken. Pastas included spaghetti and a delightful butternut squash ravioli with langostino creme sauce. There was also a salad bar, soups, asparagus, green beans, buttered corn, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes. Quite a lot of variety, right? My favorites were the ravioli, Jonah crab claws and steak. Save room in that rapidly expanding belly for desserts! Both sugar-laden and sugar free are available for your taking. There's pies, mousse, cheesecake, creme brulée, tarts, ice cream, and cookies. Oh and if you want to be all healthy and such, there's fresh fruit like pineapple and watermelon to get your antioxidants in! I tried a few of the tarts, creme brulee and a white chocolate lime shooter. The lime dessert was my favorite. The creamy sweet white chocolate mousse was well balanced with the tart lime and I loved the little chocolate pearls on top. The tarts were also good, as was the creme brulee but they ended up being too sweet for me the more I ate them. As for the quality of the savory food, everything was fresh and empty trays were replaced as needed. It all tasted pretty good for a buffet. Service was excellent. They definitely earned their prepaid tips! The price? $21.50 for the fresh seafood and prime rib buffet. You can add tips to your bill when you pay at the register first before being seated or pay in cash at the table after you're done gorging. Loved this buffet. Went early for a going away gathering and the food was all fresh with great selection. The servers were very attentive and kept the drinks filled. The salmon was nice and moist, the roast beef was tender with fresh horseradish on the side. Salads were plentiful, veggies were crisp, not limp and there was variety from Asian to Cajun to Italian. Have been going there for years before the closing for Covid. The re-opening was great until last month. The price was raised $4 and most dim sum had been discontinued. The dim sum was one of the most popular stations in the restaurant. The remaining food items are run of the mill quality at best. I realize most restaurants have raised prices, but removing some of the most popular items is not good business. The restaurant is supported by the gambling unlike most restaurants. Then there is the 90-minute rule, although I haven't seen that enforced. Highly disappointed with this new increase in price and discontinued dim sum items. read more

Marylanders love seafood buffets, especially seafood buffets with all you can eat crabs or crab legs. Love them! I'll start by saying you really get your bang for your buck. $24 bucks (including my drink) is what I paid for about 2 hours of none stop cracking and finger licking. I went for a GNO (Girls Night Out) on a Wednesday. It was pretty crowded and a constant flow of people. There were so many dinner items on the menu, I tried my best to try a little piece of everything. I wish I had taken pictures. I'm assuming the menu changes because the menu isn't listed on the website. When I dined there last week (February 21st) the following items were on the menu: A nice salad bar with Spinach, Cesar Salad, Potato Salad and a Macaroni Salad with all the fixings (Cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, peas, carrots, red beets, crotons, chopped boiled eggs and many different types of dressings. Hand Carved Ham and NY Strip Steak, fried chicken, fried fish, baked cod, sirloin steaks, grilled asparagus, sweet buttered corn, mashed potatoes with or without gravy, mac and cheese, a few Chinese cuisine items, a taco/nacho bar, and more desserts than I care to remember I enjoyed 2 servings of fried chicken, NY Strip steak, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I also had 2 servings of crab legs. The Crab Legs are served 3 to a plate, steamed, without seasoning. That's important to note because you MUST add Old Bay and melted butter to the Crab Legs, without it, they're just Blah. On my second go 'round of Crab Legs I heard the guy in front of me ask for double the amount of crab legs on one plate. It was impossible because they're so big but the server just came him 2 plate/2 servings. So you can definitely ask for more Crab Legs in one serving if you like. Lastly, the Crab Leg buffet is Wednesday AND Thursday evenings, same price, same time. read more

Tuesday is the international buffet. Eagle buffet offers great dim sum (in a buffet perspective). The employees are so nice. My waiter is awesome and friendly. I feel bad for the 90ish senior who still had to work. He worked in the dessert area. Is there like a tip option for staff who works at those areas? I came to support because the director of the casino was there and if no one comes to the dessert asking him for help with scooping ice cream, etc. that would seem bad. Now, let begin with describing the food. I'm not a buffet type because I don't like the feeling of having to eat my money worth of food. There are strange food and I'm very adventurous when it comes to eating (not sweat-pouring activities). Anyway, I still haven't started describing the food yet. I ate this weird mashed sweet potato (with marshmallow). I wasn't sure if that was a dessert or but they put it next to the fish so no. To me it's not weird but to many non Asians may be, they offer chicken feet, beef tripes, etc. The chicken feet didn't taste as flavorful as the actual dim sum place. But seriously, it is a freaking $11 dim sum (if you get gold membership, you get 10% off). I can't complain to an $11 dim sum when I barely tried out all the food. I was super full already. Did I mention they have Pho too? That Vietnamese delicacy is a must when you visit. I didn't try it because I have Pho too many times because all my non-Asian roommates like Pho very much and always asked me to eat with them since they have no power to cook Pho the way Vietnamese people do; I'd say yes every time. I was so excited to hear that they started serving all you can eat crab legs again, and I was shocked that the price had almost doubled what it was before, and I suggest never to go alone, because as soon as you get up to go get more food if you're eating by yourself there is a girl just waiting to pounce on your table to clean it off for the next person. I was told by one of the waitresses I could leave my stuff there to avoid my table being cleared off. For one, as a single person I didn't feel comfortable, leaving my purse or my phone at the table. I left the receipt showing I was still there, but that I guess was not enough proof. The man tells me that I have been there for 90 minutes and I said I have and he says yeah and I said well I don't realize I was here that long didn't know there was a 90 minute time limit on an all you can eat establishment, which when you're serving crab legs, I am a professional I can crack them pretty fast some people like them, but it takes them time to crack them and to be given 90 minutes to eat Your food. It is not a way of doing business. I will not go back to that establishment $45 and 90 minutes to eat. It's almost like a game they play with you they didn't mention it when you pay your money that you only have 90 minutes but they tell me there was a sign. There's a little tiny sign that most people probably would not even read so beware Casino Arizona is on a hardship for taking your money and pushing you out, not allowing you to enjoy your food. My thoughts is that Eagles Buffet made a grave error having discontinued the Wednesday and Thursday Crab nights. The idea of having that "special" is to draw people into the Casino on slower nights. It worked and the Casino was packed. My wife gambled into the night after eating at the Buffet on a night we would not normally be there. Now we will not be going back. I want to say how disappointed I am with how you treated guests today for Thanksgiving dinner. My family and I arrived at the Eagle's buffet at 2:30 and you shut the line just in front of us. You state open until 5pm and that wasn't the case. You need to post on your website that once the lines gets too long that you will shut it and you better have other plans. Don't say that you are open to 5:00 and you are now so then your family has no where to go. Then we get shooed away and then we have to figure out other Thanksgiving plans. They harassed us three times and we refused to leave since a table seated by us at the same time was never talked to about their time limit, and another party who paid before us was still there enjoying themselves. What we did have was very good but return trips to the buffet were just repeats of what we had previously because of limited lunch choices. We didn't find the staff very friendly. It started with the cashier who interrupted our conversation when we were paying to address another individual. We thought we were polite with meat carver with our "thank yous' but never once did he acknowledge or return a comment. We thought him rude. Sever became friendly the closer it got to tip time. I went to the Eagle Buffet recently on Saturday night Prime Rib night. And it is one of the best casino buffets Iv'e tried, better than Vegas. The food is presented in very neat and appetizing way, slightly more compact than a Vegas style buffet. But the selections are plentiful and well prepared. The Prime rib was excellent, I also had grilled pork chop, oysters on the half shell, a real treat. As they were fresh and tasty. Ceviche was awesome along with salad bar. There were many other selections I didn't try, it all looked good. The desert bar was great with many selections of pies, cookies and sweets. The service was good and friendly. This place is consistently clean and food can be decent to excellent based on the nights you go on. I personally like Friday and Saturday because of the seafood. My favorites are the oysters and Rock Crabs! Cons-wise, I think their prime rib or roast tends to be too well done sometimes. I also miss their soft serve ice cream machine and I also wish they had more basic ice cream flavors like chocolate or coffee. I'm not into their crazy mixed flavors. Oh no.... I had to lower a star. I've been coming here for years for crab night during the week. When I first started coming it was $18.99 per person. Then they raised it to $24.99. Well, I just got off the phone with them and now the price is $29.99. I accepted the jump to $24.99 but this is too much. I definitely won't be coming by as often. Which is sad because I had fun battling back and forth to hold the duchess title for the most check-ins for this place. I came for lunch one time because they serve dim sum. Not a huge selection of those either. But it did satisfy my craving. We came here on a Thursday night. All you can eat Crab night! The trick is we got there early, 5:00pm. Because, when we left the line was about 100 people deep. The Crab legs were divine and so was the Prime Rib. Everything was fresh and hot, and our Server Rose was very attentive. They were restocking the Desserts all the time from a lovely little trolley they bring out. (see Photo) . The head chef here is great, every time we come out to dine we always see him checking on everything in the food area.
