Hot towels after we finished dinner
    Tiffany H.

We paid $116 for two people at the buffet on Friday, specifically visiting for the crab legs. There was a very long line at the crab legs station, which was expected. They had hot butter ready on the side and served three clusters of crab legs per plate. We also enjoyed the New York steak with au jus sauce. Our server, Felipe Gasper S., did an excellent job by promptly clearing our dirty plates, replacing the broken crab leg bowl, and refilling our drinks without us having to ask. The dessert section was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. At the end of dinner, Felipe dropped off some hot towels to clean our hands with and fortune cookies for us. We enjoyed everything the buffet had to offer and would definitely come back.

My friend invited to the International National Woman's Gala here at WeKo Pa. What a great venue to show case these women's talents. The dinner that was served was flavorful! The entertainment was amazing! Afterwards we did a lil bit of gambling and dancing at the grill place. I love coming here for concerts.

Nastiest crab legs ever. Slimy, dry and seriously discolored.

When you walk in, the buffet is right there behind the front desk. Yes, it was mostly a chinese buffet but there's one item on the array of foods that I liked a lot. It was a bit too spicy for me and it was Cajun sauce with potatoes and I poured the sauce in a container and made my way and grabbed some snow crab legs and crawfish and made my own seafood boil lol Pros: They stack the crab legs and crawfish Although the Crawfish didn't have any flavor (I would suggest dumping it in the cajun sauce with potatoes) Cons: It was an hr drive to PHX and the traffic.. The parking situation: It was packed. Some people stood and secured their space.. which I think is unfair but do what you must. Just luckily we found parking in front of the entrance. Best to back up park, so you can easily get out of the complex

I have tried the Pornstar Martini, Illicit Affair, and Smell the F*@king Roses (my favorite). The appetizers we tried were the tuna tartare and the hibachi crudo. Superb! The entrees are delicious although the lamb chops and the short rib bolognese were a bit salty. The bolognese is definitely different than the typical. The branzino and filet mignon were tasty. Sides including the whipped potatoes and Mac and cheese were also good. We also enjoyed the coconut cream pie with a birthday candle for dessert, but I will say for the price we paid for the entire meal, the dessert should have been comped for the birthday. They also charge an extra service fee that can be removed if requested. No reason to charge additional fees on top of everything you pay already.

They were busy at around 10:15pm so we had to wait a bit for a table. We also had a large group of 8 but luckily we were able to get seated. Our server did an amazing job with our large group. Some in the group ordered pan roasts and some ordered crawfish etouffee. My friend also ordered clams. I always get the combo pan roast here. It's a mix of crawfish, shrimp and crab. Choose your spice level from 1-10. I forgot to specify a number and just said "hot" but it was not spicy enough for me. I normally get 7-8. I ended up adding in all the hot sauce options that were on the table plus some chili powder. Now that had a good kick to it. Ask for that! Price for the combo pan roast has doubled from before! It used to be $20, then it slowly increased to $30, and now it's $40! It's good, but I can also make it at home and get more for my money.

This place feels like someone at the casino ran out of ideas--and space--and decided, "Sure, let's…read morecram a seafood restaurant into this random corner and call it a day." The result is a space so small and awkward it borders on absurd: a few tightly packed tables, a tiny circular bar, and just enough room to guarantee a wait time that feels wildly out of proportion to what's actually being offered. It's wedged at the end of a hallway off the casino floor, with all the ambiance of a service passage. Calling it a restaurant is generous; it's more like a seafood-themed afterthought. Honestly, it would make far more sense as a grab-and-go sandwich counter or coffee stand. As it is, it comes across as the fast-food version of seafood--minus the speed, convenience, or value. I was there with my 21-year-old daughter and we sat at the bar, which turned out to be a mistake. Instead of even the bare minimum of professionalism, the staff treated the space like their personal break room. We were subjected to loud singing, nonstop chatter, and unfiltered complaints about coworkers and management--all happening just a couple of feet away while we were trying to eat. It wasn't just distracting; it was genuinely uncomfortable. There's something uniquely off-putting about paying for a meal while being forced to listen to an impromptu staff gripe session. With so many legitimately good restaurants nearby, there's absolutely no reason to waste time--or money--here. It's the kind of place that makes you immediately regret not going literally anywhere else. I would have happily waited to dine at Orange Sky, where the setting and service actually match expectations. In hindsight, skipping this entirely wouldn't have just been the better option--it would have been the obvious one.

The host told us that there was open seating along the wall or under cover outside. Since the wall was full, we ventured outside near the cooler. We were given water right away but didn't even see a server, Jessica, for 12 mins. We even had to ask her for menus. It was a very awkward start. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well and the grits were incredible. They were creamy, with pronounced poblano and Jack cheese. It was the perfect accompaniment. Jessica did a great job checking in on us during our meal but, again, it was awkward waiting 15 mins for her to offer dessert and check. We will return but perhaps not during happy hour, when it's very busy but the evening staff hasn't arrived yet.

I was expecting more somehow but no. there are plates available but when I looked in different receptacles, there were no bowls for rice or soup. there also were no spoons. hmm. I tried some pretty typical things like orange chicken and their version of beef and broccoli. neither one of 'em was real good. the beef wasn't bad but it was cold. their noodle dishes, ones that I'm pretty sure were supposed to be served hot, were also cold. guests seemed to be seated furthest from the buffet stations. the sushi rolls didn't look terrible but I wasn't brave enough to try any of them. the nigiri sushi items looked old and pushed around. that wasn't appetizing. the staff were friendly but seemed to speak limited English. the restrooms weren't in the best shape and were in need of some TLC. Amazing Restaurant!…read more All amazing people of Phoenix, if you have not gone to this phenomenal restaurant yet, you really need to. This is one convenient, high quality, extremely flavorful Chinese place that me and my husband visited today. It was just high quality all the way! When we arrived it was quiet. Superbly clean, neat and tidy. Cute decor and a nice inviting vibe. We were sat at a table and given our menus. Prices were really good. Especially when you get the quality of food that comes out of that kitchen. Our waitress was super-nice. Which is hard to find these days. She was so nice to everyone who came in. When we sat down, a lady who wasn't too sure about the place came in asking all kinds of questions. And she patiently answered each one as if she was a close family member. A homeless guy came in asking for water. She jumped right up to give him a HUGE cup of ice and water and was so kind to him. Then other patrons came in to order and pick up food and each one, regardless of age, ethnic makeup, what they were wearing, all were greeted so warmly. Huge smiles and a constant giving and warm attitude all throughout. We were treated just as good. And for us that is very rare. We ordered a lot of various things. A cold cucumber salad, a hot appetizer, a couple of main dishes. Then the absolute most amazing signature steak on the Chef's Speciality. WOW. The salad and appetizers came out first. Salad really cold and refreshing. Super crisp and cut nicely. Amazing flavor. Then the appetizers were super hot and fresh. Not oily. Bursting with flavor. Then the mains came. Everything cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish just screaming at my taste buds. Enjoyed every bite. Then they brought out the steak for my husband. So juicy. So tender. And the sauce in the side just added to the flavor. We savored every bite. The quality and temperatures and flavors are off the chart. We could not finish all this bliss in one sitting, se we asked for boxes and containers. She gave us many to separate everything and a bag to haul it home in. Always asking if we needed anything else and being authentically polite. This place should be packed. You are missing out if you have not tried New Hong King Restaurant. Amazing service.
