Visited Earls Kitchen + Bar for a company dinner and it was overall a great experience. Staff was very welcoming and greeted us with drinks ready. Which is always the preferred type of greeting. I got a chance to try both guava drinks on the menu as I love anything guava related. The Guava Margherita was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. It was not overpoweringly sweet at all and very refreshing. The Guava Vodka Crush was also good. But of the two I would go back for the Guava Margherita. As I feel Guava and tequila mix better than Guava and Vodka. As for the food, the sticky Korean ribs were tender and sweet. I could have crushed a whole rack of those easily. The truffle tortellini with sirloin was also very good. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the truffle was not overpowering. The sirloin was also tender and cooked a perfect medium rare. I was not too much a fan of the sticky Toffee Chocolate Pudding. It was more of a chocolate cake and gave the illusion that it would ooze out but it was just dry and dense. More chocolate and very little Toffee. But I did try the cheesecake and that was delicious. It was an unfortunate way to end the meal but overall I thought Earls was really good. I've been here twice for happy hour and waited to review after the second experience to post. The food is good. The service is fine. It's just blah at the bar. Nobody did anything wrong, but nobody went out of their way to acknowledge me. I had to flag someone down to order, get my own silverware after the food was delivered by a runner, and ask for the bill. Perhaps I'm someone who likes to be greeted or asked if I want another drink before my first drink is swiped away before I was done. I get it, bartenders are busy and aren't supposed to ask me how my day was or if the food is good. But in a time where technology disconnects us, feeling seen is important and I'm going to spend my time and money at restaurants that prioritize making every guest , not just regulars, feel welcome. read more

Second time eating here and I don't think I'll be back. I was really disappointed. I ordered the Avocado Benedict expecting to break into the poached egg and see a runny yoke, but instead it was hard boiled. My Mom ordered the American breakfast and the bacon was virtually raw. We did ask our server if she could bring us cooked bacon, which she did, but it just wasn't up to the standard I was expecting. Both of our meals came with a little green salad, but I think they put pure vinegar on it, so again, we were disappointed. It was also very loud, so we had trouble hearing one another. read more

The portions were generous, the service was attentive, and the menu had a solid variety of options. That said, I do wish they had more vegetarian selections to accommodate a wider range of dietary preferences. I ordered the Cajun Chicken, which was deliciously juicy with just the right amount of spice. It was served on a fresh bed of salad with a side of perfectly cooked potatoes--an excellent combination. We also tried the Baja Tacos, which offered a great balance of flavors. For drinks, the Coconut Mango Refresher was unique, though it leaned more tart than expected with just a hint of coconut flavor. We went to Earl's Kitchen & Bar for the first, and last, time. Before we get to the food, let's start with the ambiance. Think seedy piano bar meets modern industrial. The booth's loveseat style benches come complete with springs poking you through the upholstery, and could definitely use a refresh. The family restroom unfortunately, did not come complete with toilet paper, although there was plenty of paper on the floor. When I pointed it out to the server she just rolled her eyes, shook her head and indicated that additional restrooms were available by the front door. Not exactly inspiring confidence that it was an issue that she intended to resolve. Lunch began with an offering of three types of water, of which we selected still. We had the roasted corn and avocado dip as a starter, which was very one note. There were large chunks of very hard avocado, very bland roasted corn and pickled red onions which managed to overwhelm the flavor of its companions. I ordered the bibimbap and my companion ordered the petit sirloin with greens and frites. The beef in the bibimbap steamed, chewy and flavorless, the crispy rice was well beyond crispy and into burned. The egg on top was well cooked as were the vegetables. The petit sirloin was cooked to medium rather medium rare, the salad greens were completely undressed although the fries were cooked properly. Our server was attentive. I did note on my aborted trip to the restroom (which is by the kitchen) that a line chef spilled a bag of rolls on the ground, picked them up and scurried to the back area with them, where I can only hope they were thrown away. read more

Came back and said they were out of it, suggested the $27 dollar a glass. Sorry nope. Burger tasted decent, but was on small side. Salad that came with it was okay size. Friends weren't hungry and ordered chicken fingers I think or whatever they called it. Very small portion of chicken and fries. We sat outside which was nicely set up with cushions and string lights etc but overlooks stairway with noisy passerby's as well As a parking lot. Interior is vast and spacious and lovely. We came to Earl's for lunch and enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant was open, bright and upscale. The server was very nice. The food came out in a timely manner. All of the food was chef's kiss!! The calamari was the best calamari I have ever had. It was seasoned and the right amount of crunch, but not hard. Get it! The truffle and steak tortellini was good, but overloaded with too many diced onions. The steak and sushi were amazing!!! The sauce that came on the steak made it unique. When you walk in this spot is beautiful from the bathroom to the lighting. We had 11:30 reservations and they sat us timely. Now we did have a party of about 15 people so that can be a challenge. We had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was not cooked all the way through..yes ut was raw. They corrected it and we ordered a rib eye medium and it came out well done. The service was ok. Our server did not seem welcoming nor happy. The food was good, nothing noteworthy. Our main takeaway was that when I was going to order the chicken tenders (starter) she told me they were out of the tenders (no problem, Ill order something else). Once I ordered my food and we recieved our food, the server told my guest that they were out of dates (which were supposed to be on his salad) and pretty much just walked off. It was just odd. I brought my family and in laws here to celebrate my birthday , since they hadn't tried this place out yet. I made a reservation, but since we came on a weekday, it wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. We ordered calamari to share and my mom had the clam chowder to start. It took some time for our orders to start arriving , but since we were a party of 9, it was understandable that our food would take a bit longer. All together, the entrees we ordered were the crispy shirmp roll, the steak & sushi (spicy tuna roll), BBQ ribs & Cajun chicken, steak frites, and margherita pizza. Although the sushi was good, they excel more in their other dishes. Overall, everything tasted fresh and well seasoned! For dessert, we ordered the sticky toffee chocolate pudding. It was so nice that they made me a portion of my own in addition to a ful serving for my family to share. It satisfied my sweet tooth just right with the caramel and ice cream. Our server was also really friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. They even gave me a signed birthday card from the whole staff. Decadent! The ambience is very nice albeit noisy. The service is quick and friendly. They did overcharge our table for two separate drinks so... I guess watch out for that but everything was delicious. The pollo tacos were amazingly moist and the homemade chips were great w the fire roasted salsa. My husband got the sushi and beef which was wow!! Jealous of his dish. Super tasty. We also got the dumplings and guac. I asked for the seafood tower for two but they charged for the seafood tower for four. It was a ton of food so that's probably what they rang in. It was just an unpleasant shock when we received the bill. They don't have any paper/plastic cups. While I think my daughter is crazy smart, I don't fully trust her with a glass mug. I am a fan of Earl's Kitchen + Bar! This place was clean, appears modern and upscale, a fun vibe, friendly service, and we were able to walk in on a week night and get immediately seated with no wait. Earl's has both a large dining area and a spacious bar area along with an open kitchen - I like those. They can handle large groups in the bar area - it was somewhat loud at times, so if you're looking for intimate dining, ask to be seated away from the bar. The dress was interesting, there were some groups decked out for formal parties, moderately dressed groups who I'd say were business casual, and a couple families like us who were dressed down after a day at a theme park. No one seemed bothered by our casual dress, but next time, I would certainly wear better than athletic pants and a pullover. At our table, people ordered steak, salmon (me), and chicken. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The desserts were excellent and the drinks looked good, although we didn't indulge in any cocktails. We are from out of own town, but next time in the area, we would certainly consider eating here again. read more

Random Wednesday night , sat outside on the patio. It was calm and all of the food was delicious. We ordered the Charred Corn + Avocado Dip as our appetizer (chefs kiss) then our waitress Yazmin gave us the option to split our entrees which is why you'll see half a bacon cheddar burger and half of the steak fries in my pic with truffle fries. The food and drinks here are great! My boyfriend loves the burger and lychee martini. However, every time we come there is nobody at the front and it takes a minute to get someone to seat us. Also, last time the waitress stared at our IDs, left, then came back and said she needed to take them because they have a new system and didn't return for about 15 minutes. Came here for a large bridal shower. They had fantastic and attentive service for the entire period. The drinks were good, my food was just okay. I got steak frites, fries were good. Steak I ordered medium, got well done. I inquired if it was possible to make a new one, med rare this time. They remade it and had out a new portion fairly quickly. The new steak was medium well. Overall, the flavor just wasn't there. The horseradish was strong though so I just dipped my fries into it and slathered it all over the steak. Not sure if the regular tables had salt and pepper on them but the steak and fries would've benefitted from some seasoning. We were getting cabin fever over the long weekend and had to run an errand in the area, so my fiancé booked us a reservation for dinner. We arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation and we were seated promptly. Our host was kind and friendly and we chatted about our mutual interest in The Last of Us. Our server (Aidan or Hayden I'm not sure if I misheard) arrived and we placed our drink and appetizer order. There were some nice cocktails on the list but I opted for my standard, a Tom Collins. My fiancé got a Don Julio margarita. Both drinks were well balanced and delicious! The Szechuan shrimp and pork dumplings were outstanding and a great portion for sharing! For my entree I had the Black Truffle Butter Steak medium rare. My steak was cooked to perfection! It was served with garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini (my fave!) and really ticked off all the boxes for what I was hoping for! My fiancé got the Steak (medium) & Sushi with the wagyu beef oshi press. He was very pleased with the dish. I tried a piece of the wagyu beef oshi press and can confirm it was fantastic. We were enjoying our visit so much we had to stay for dessert. We ordered the seasonal Bourbon Pecan Pie and the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. Both were divine! I loved the Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries with the cheesecake and my fiancé raved about each bite of the pecan pie (especially the crust! Mmm!). From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we were satisfied. We've had a lot of misses lately, and there's nothing worse than paying for a meal that left you wanting more. This meal was the opposite, we can't wait to go back and try new things! The restaurant itself is laid out nicely where you don't feel like you're sharing the table with another party. And it looks like there is a beautiful patio area as well (it was pouring when we were there but could see the appeal of some apps and cocktails outside whenever the weather gets nice again. My best friend and I were shopping in the mall and wanted a quick bite to eat and drink and Earls Kitchen + Bar was the perfect spot. The inside is huge and it has a cute patio outside that would be perfect for brunch. We sat at the bar and had a delicious Aperol Spritz, but I've never had one I didn't like haha. We also ordered a round of the vegan corn and avocado dip which was plenty for us both to share. The tortilla chips were amazing super crispy and the dip had great flavor. The picked onions on top was a nice touch. Service was good and we were able to be in&out quickly as we had plans later in the day. Love Earl's kitchen. I've eaten here a handful of times and always have a great experience. Service is great, food is amazing, drinks are delicious, ambiance is fun, just always a 10/10 experience. I ate here this weekend on Saturday around 1pm with my friend and we both ordered the Cajun blackened chicken and it was PHENOMENAL. Food was soooo flavorful, the chicken is so juicy, just everything about this dish is great. The portion size, quality, presentation, flavor is all on point for this dish and actually a GREAT price for what you are served. Also had 2 of the tiny peach Bellinis and they are sooooo yummy. We got truffle fries to share and they are some of the best truffle fries I have ever had. I wish I could remember our servers name, she was great and attentive. Though I could use a bit more mushrooms and kale... it was lacking more ingredients... also it was more on the recognizable oily side.. again, I am not a pizza person... but it was okay. The non-alcoholic drink was just juices and sweet.. not as much of a fan. I wanted a latte but I was very surprised they had no dairy alternative! You would think by now, you'd have at least 1 variation of non-dairy.. very shocked.. Environment Very nice environment, spacious on the inside. I also noticed some outdoor seating. There is also a bar. There is a mix of booth seats and table seats. Very nicely decorated. Fitting for Millenia. This is located on the outside of the mall and there should be plenty of parking but ofcourse I went during the holidays and parking was a little crazy... Dollar I thought it was expensive... maybe that's average pricing now... the pizza was close to $20 and the drink was on happy hour for $7. I didn't like that when they take your payment they have the machine there and then the waitress stands there while you push in a tip amount... maybe it is just me.. Yes? This is a great location right outside of The Mall at Millennium. It's very nice inside with funky art and cool light fixtures everywhere. However it's not too stuffy and you don't necessarily have to "dress up" to visit. The large bar area is inviting with plenty of TV's showing the games. On my visit, I took advantage of the margarita special and tried the mango flavor. It was made just right. For my dinner, I had the steak frites and honestly, it was exactly what I needed after shopping all evening. My server Izzy was definitely a highlight as well. She was so attentive and gave helpful suggestions as this was my first visit to Earl's. I will certainly ask to be placed in her section on my return. When we walked in it was pretty empty because we did get there a little later than we wanted but we were still welcomed with open arms. This service was nice, and our waiter was very pleasant to us. I came here specifically to try this restaurant out right now as it was one listed for magical dining month. That being said, I'm a little disappointed in the magical dining menu as you had to pay for a lot of additions of meats. Nothing came with meat included in the entrée section. Even though the ribeye was not on the magical dining menu, it was very well cooked and the sides matched perfectly with that meal. The one thing I will say that I will come back for are the spicy tuna sushi tacos! They were perfect! Even though spicy is in the name it was not spicy at all it was just perfectly made.
