In the past, I'd simply arm myself with a can of Spider Killer and spray them as I encountered them. Now I'm older and wiser and decided to hire professionals to spray instead, so I wouldn't have to have anxiety and mini heart attacks every time I'd see a black widow. Looked on Yelp to find a company nearby my parents' home with high Yelp reviews. Good Earth was my first choice. Getting pricing info and making an appointment was seamless with Yelp's messaging system. Kevin was so helpful in keeping me apprised of the process and the appointment time/date. On the day of, Zack showed up promptly and with a smile. I was so surprised when he told me my one-time treatment would actually allow follow-up visits within 30 days. He told me the first treatment would be spraying and then the second treatment would be getting rid of the webs. Wow, what a great deal! Both days Zack was punctual, friendly and professional. We even talked about the celebrities he looks like! (You'll have to meet him in person to guess which celebrity) On the second treatment day, he came armed with a cobweb brush and I actually felt kinda embarrassed because it was like he was doing housekeeping for the spiderwebs! Excellent experience and so far I haven't seen any spiders left! Highly recommend this company. We'd requested ahead of time to have the garage treated as well (because normally they only treat the outside unless we ask them to spray anywhere else, in which case they're more than happy to do so). My wife opened our garage up before heading out with our kids, and the tech could've easily finished the job and just moved on. But instead, he knocked on the door afterward to let us know he was done so we could shut the garage. He specifically said he didn't want us to leave it open longer than needed. Some might say that's just part of the job, but the truth is, small gestures like that aren't so common anymore. At least not in my experience. It showed genuine thoughtfulness and care--and that matters a lot to us. Great service, as always.

Barrier Pest Solutions provided inadequate service to my residence for three years. Initially, it…read moreappeared as though it was a fairly decent company, as their representatives were cordial. However, the dilemma with Barrier Pest Solutions is their claim that a sufficient service would be performed and billed roughly $120 per every three months. In actuality, this has, consistently, proved to be an insufficient service. Indeed, it was necessary to re-treat my residence prior to the next service date. In fact, the chemicals used were hardly ever effective for a term of three full months. CONSUMER WARNING: Barrier offers a "free return-service" if needed. At face-value this appears reasonable. Although not initially disclosed, there exists an inconvenient 'fine print' permitting Barrier to charge the account if the request for return-service fails to meet specific terms and conditions. As a result, I terminated service with Barrier. Within a short window of time, having second thoughts concerning the termination of a family-owned business, I respectfully requested services to be reinstated. Several repeated inquiries went unanswered. With a little persistence, a response to the inquiry was ultimately received: Short answer -- Yes, of course, you may be reinstated, but NOT at the rate which was billed previously. The new rate: $120 for services performed and invoiced every TWO months, a drastic one-third increase billed to the consumer. Conclusively, Barrier grew weary of honoring their return-service policy. Therefore the previous agreement was withdrawn. From my perspective, it was an error in judgement that Barrier denied the request for reinstatement under the terms of our previous agreement while replying with a counter-offer at a steep 33% rate increase. In retrospect, considering Barriers brazen counter-proposal, I am satisfied of the decision to terminate service. Although, I would make the argument, that Barrier essentially terminated the agreement by means of failure to adhere to its own terms and conditions as presented to the consumer.

On a few routine maintenance visits in the past, the technician arrived while our dog was in the backyard, and the service was rescheduled. We completely understood that decision and never had an issue with it. Recently, however, we developed a wasp nest that needed treatment. We scheduled an appointment, but no one showed up. We later received a last-minute email explaining the technician had experienced a family emergency and that our appointment was being rescheduled for the following week. We completely understood and had no complaints. Unfortunately, the rescheduled appointment came and went with no service and very little communication. We still had the wasp nest and were left wondering what was happening. Shortly afterward, we received another last-minute email stating they would be coming out on a Tuesday. They never confirmed that the new appointment worked for us, nor did anyone contact us beforehand. The technician arrived unannounced while our dog was in the backyard. Because we had no idea they were coming that day, we had no opportunity to bring our dog inside. Rather than attempting to coordinate another visit, Noble Way cancelled the appointment and then called to inform us that they would no longer provide service to our home because there had been "too many incidents" involving our dog. It's frustrating to be dropped as a long-time customer for circumstances that were largely created by their own scheduling and communication failures. Had they simply communicated with us before arriving, we would have happily put our dog inside. Instead, they repeatedly cancelled or rescheduled appointments with little notice, then blamed us when one of their unconfirmed appointments couldn't be completed. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and unwillingness to work with a long-standing customer were extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend Noble Way Pest Control based on this experience.

All Clear was one of the two companies that returned my call and thankfully they were able to get a technician out sooner. They sent Grant out a few days later to evaluate our property. Grant let me know ahead of time he was coming so I was prepared. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He evaluated the situation and spent 45 minutes going over my options with me. In the end a lot of what could be done was dependent on me purchasing products myself and doing work but I felt a lot more confident about what to do and how to proceed. His information was extremely valuable and he didn't even charge me for the visit! Several weeks later and the rats are far fewer in number. I would definitely recommend calling All Clear Pest Control for your pest problems.
