After writing a professional business letter acknowledging my mistake, the response was not businesslike, insufficient and bordered on rude, lacking an explanation why the refund requested was short $250. Upon next communication as I believed they still had more of my money, their response was "I won't hold my breath for a letter of apology from you." They included a copy of a statement which alleged this sum had been returned to my bill pay provider. That should have come with the refund they had sent. BUT, THEY CHOSE TO BE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL INSTEAD. Here's my public apology: I am sorry you are too rude to do business with and will never transfer my business from another oil company to Attleboro Oil & Ice. Unlike some other area plumbing suppliers, Ardente has rarely run out of commonly-used supplies. My biggest complaint is their small parking lot (I've been blocked in before), and the fact you have to literally drive around the block to get to their warehouse loading dock to pick up larger items like water heaters or toilets. Also, I don't like the brand of PVC fittings they sell (Genova); I have had problems when gluing them, as it seems like they are out of tolerance and fit too tightly over the pipe. When I started my career, several old-timers worked the service counter. Nowadays, they have younger guys behind the counter, who provide decent service for the most part. I have had a younger guy in the warehouse give me an attitude, though, when I asked for help loading an item in my truck.

I had looked into duct cleaners in the areas and came about this place as well as another one. I had a brief text back and forth and they quoted me about $1100 for 1 system and $1650 for 2 system with new customer discount of $100 which i thought was bit pricy. I had got a quote from another place and the guy came in. To inspect. He counted the number of vents, opened the vent and looked into it and told us there are mold and needs mold remediation along with cleaning, UV light... etc and quoted me over $3k which i thought was crazy for the service and he said it would only take 3 hours. I had thought about getting 2nd opinion and the guys was like trying to give discounts to have us pick in the spot which was a red flag. After this I did more research and had a guy JB come in to inspect from Air duct cleaning of NewEngland. He came in and looked around checked and gave us quote of $850 which was lower than initial quote which i was happy about. I asked some questions and he said 2 guys will come in for couple hours and clean the place. No counting vents or mold remediation. The guys was nice and friendly to talk with. We booked an appointment for the guys to come in and clean the place. We did have an issue with appointment as Kayla reach out to me and said that there was some staffing issue the day of appointment so had to be moved. It was a bit inconvenient as it was 2 days before the appointment but we rescheduled our appointment to later date. The day of appointment 2 guys came in Ivan and Louise. They were younger guys and seemed friendly. Seems like they were pretty efficient and worked on the house from around 8 to11:30 ish for about 3 hours and half. I did ask for before and after picture as well. At the end i had made a payment over phone with the manager and they had me sign some documents and they left. They came back in few minutes as they forgot the document to take back to the office so i gave them the documents and had to ask for the photos on the spot. It seemed like they were rushing a bit which was not the best but they did seem like they did mostly thorough job. I did ask if there were any more from the other technician but didn't seem to get any response later. Overall i was happy with the result of the duct cleaning and i would consider this place for again. I may have to be more bold and ask for more pictures as there were more before picture than after pictures.
