I enjoy an occasional meal at East Coast Wings, at various locations - burger, chicken, and of course the wings. I had never been to this location however, and I won't be going back. It took forever to get waited on, and it wasn't because of the customer volume, but rather just unfocused, inattentive servers! And the restaurant was really messy, uncleared tables, trash on the floor. It was such a mess that I decided to get something to go. I ordered the 5 Wings, medium with celery ($8.99), and their classic Cheeseburger ($12.49). By the time I left with my order, I had been in the restaurant just under 50 minutes! While the food wasn't bad, it was not OMG either. I much prefer the wings at Waldo's. And they included carrots, not the celery I requested. The cheeseburger was well sized and tasty. read more

We've ordered out from here before but this was the first time we ate inside. Service was great and the restaurant was extremely clean. we started with the pretzel bites and chose the beer cheese sauce which had a nice kick to it. I had the buffalo chicken lettuce wraps but actually asked if I could do Korean bbq sauce instead of buffalo and they said no problem. It was SO good! I wish I thought to do this sauce change before, definitely my new go to. My husband had 15 boneless wings and chose 3 different flavors. My daughter got the mini corn dogs with a side of fruit and we got a side of Mac and cheese for my son. No need for a to go box because everyone enjoyed everything! East coast is the sauce king when it comes to wing joints! If you factor in all the heat combos there have to be hundreds of options here! I usually go with boneless wings here just to mop up the sauces. And their side salad is always solid. On this last visit I tried the boneless wings in the new voodoo ranger ipa bbq sauce. Well, tonight Brianna set the bar high for the other waiters and waitresses. I will say that this was our best experience here, all around. The thing that made this visit was our waitress, Brianna. When we got to get sited the host told one of the waitresses (a blue shirt girl)that they needed more clean tables (because the free ones were still occupied with dirty dishes) and she just ignored her didn't even looked. When we got sited we wait for about 15 minutes and no one would come to greet us, even the waitress with blue shirt pass by our table several times and just would give us a side eye, kinda like the stink eye. After a while another waitress came and asked us if we have been attended, we told her no, she apologized multiple times and said that in that case she will take care of us, her names is Ashley S. She took care of us and she was the sweetest, after that everything went good. We have been to this restaurant several times. At first it was good but not anymore. The last 3 times our order has been wrong. First we called to see if they gave military discounts they said yes. We ordered and when we picked up they tried to say they could only discount some of our order. We spent 75.00 and when we got home there were no carrots or ranch dressing. When we called they said they couldn't give us a credit or coupon because the carrots are free. I said it is included with the order so it is paid for with our order. She said they would put a note on our account so next time we would be sure to get them. When I said I didn't understand why they would put a note to include what is automatically supposed to be included she said again that was all they could do. So if you don't care that you won't get all that is included for a rather expensive meal already then give them a try. If you expect to get what you paid for go somewhere else. Three times back to back to back we have received our food burnt and with hardly any sauce whatsoever. Not even going to talk about the tater tots or the potato chips that were cold and chewy. Manager blames it on the chicken being frozen when it comes in. But should the chicken not be frozen? Placed an online order to pick up for dinner which included 25 Cajun ranch boneless wings, which is my favorite considering we visit ecw often ( other locations) when I got home my son opened the box and started getting wings out and I noticed they gave us plain boneless wings with ranch (plain old ranch) poured on top! I was already irritated that I placed my online order at 5:15 got there at 530 was told it was almost done and didn't get my food till 555! Came here after working hard all day at my local business. I just wanted hot chips and wings. There was one table here when we came in. One other table came in while eating. We ordered the "hot" chips. They were cold, old and rubbery. I used to work in the restaurant business. It is not hard to fry up hot chips to order. I explained to the waitress they were cold. She was very nice. Came back a couple minutes later with the same chips they had just refried. Covered in double grease and burned. I refused to accept them. Then the wings came. Barely warm. Obviously they are storing cooked food in the back expecting people to pay for old refried food. The other location is much better. They actually give you fresh food to order. The waitresses were very nice and apologized but obviously they have some pretty lax people in the back cooking, or should I say reheating old food. read more

The food was good, but when we walked in we stood at the host desk for 7 mins before anyone greeted us. The manager was hanging out talking to the people at the bar. The waiter was doing the best he could he obviously was waiting bar and taking tables. We never got a refill on our beverages and once the check was laid on the table after 20 mins of no one coming back we scratched together enough cash to pay so we could leave. As we walked out the door the manager and 3 waitress were sitting outside on the sidewalk smoking. The service ruined it for me. We will try another location next time. read more

Most east coast wings and grill establishments I have been to have always been good and a nice atmosphere but this location was absolutely infested with flies, dead and alive. My group and I sat at the bar for drinks and were getting flies in our faces and on our person, as well as dead flies on the bar and tables. We drank our beers and asked for our checks because we could not imagine how bad the flies would gather around our food when we ordered. We told the manager why we were leaving and she was fairly rude about it. Cant imagine what the back of house looks like if that's what the front of house looked like. Would not recommend this place unless you don't mind flies crawling on you. read more

If you know anything about ECW, you know they have a LOT of wing flavors. This location is in a good spot, and the food is, for the most part, good. We have been to this East Coast Wings before and had a great experience. However, the way we were treated at this visit just ruined the whole experience. To me, it is just unacceptable to be treated rudely at a place of business especially if you (the customer) weren't being rude first. This evening after we got the check, I was unclear on some of the charges on our bill. It was 75 cent wing night and we weren't made aware that they charge you for flavors. However, I was waiting to ask our waitress for clarification and another waitress came up. She approached me with what already seemed like a hostile vibe. She answered my questions but was hostile and clearly annoyed about it. Then when she finished answering my questions I mentioned that there was still an extra drink charge on our bill. Then she responded with "I'll have him re-ring the bill." as she rolled her neck and eyes and walked off without saying anything else. It wasn't really about what she said but the apparent attitude and way she said it. My order of wings and side salad came to ~ $15, then I realized why I hadn't been here in so long. I like ranch and BC dressing for both salad and wings. They insisted on charging me another $1 for dressing on my order. I'm paying $15 for lunch and u wanna charge me another buck for 1-2oz of salad dressing???!!! To nit pick and gouge me on a lunch order for salad dressing when I'm ordering salad and wings, just trivial and distasteful, pardon pun. With so many eating establishments around, just cancelled my order and took my money elsewhere. They tell us don't judge a book by its cover. We should also not judge a person by their appearance. We sat down and our waiter covered in tats, on his hands, and neck. He seemed very nervous and wasn't sure about items on the menu. When we ordered he over thought it. Kids menu says 2 hamburger sliders. So we ordered it that way and he kept thinking we wanted 2 orders of hamburger sliders. I'm screaming inside saying this isn't going to be good. Our waiter takes our order and then quickly comes back to ask to a question to ensure he was right. Then he came back again to see if we wanted the chips as an app or with the meal. Then he came back to see if our drinks were full. Then our wings came out and he goes to the kitchen and comes back and he looked completely defeated and as if I was going to scream. There a problem with the kids meals. He said they need to get some meat and kept saying how sorry he was. We said no worries they can have some chips and carrots as we wait. Five minutes later out comes the kids food. He again said how sorry he was and wanted to ensure we were 100% happy. Now the wings were very good, wish they had more sauce on them. I had medium and felt like I needed hot. My wife got the extra hot but also said it needed more sauce. She asked our waiter and poof he was there with more sauce. I went up to pay as the kids finished up and spoke to the manger. I complimented the manger above the amazing, some of the best I've had in a long time. Come to find out today was our waiter first day, a waitress had called out and he got thrown to the wolves as they were short staffed. I time the manager the new employee was a keeper, and needed time to leaner the ropes. He had something you can't train a personality. So if you come to this location ask for Jack. My only issue was the kids meal. I had said something to the manager and felt it should have been taken off the bill. As there was so many issues with it. The positive note is the food. Every time I come here the food is good and cooked to order. Also, the people are nice. However...expect to have the pacing of a five course meal, just without the courses. We had a server greet us about 3 minutes after sitting down to order drinks and appetizers...we ordered an appetizer that came out quickly, then we waited another 5 minutes for our waitress to come. Once she came (again, awesome and attentive service) we ordered. Then we waited about 35 minutes for our entrees. We ended up spending a grand total of an hour and 5 minutes here. If you want friendly service and good food and you are not in a hurry, this is an awesome place! read more

This may be the worst wings I have ever had. Here are the reasons: Food: Wings were very dry and flavorless, no matter what flavor you chose, they all taste the same. We can't even finish our wings. We threw many of them away at the end. Service: Bad. We ordered 25 wings and ask if we can divided into five wings per flavor; I think it's common in most of wing restaurants, but the waiter said no without thinking or asking. I know he wasn't sure about the policy because he just said 2 or 3 flavors maybe. When food came out we found that he also messed up our order. So we got 20 wings in regular buffalo sauce and five in special sauce of the month, but they all tasted the same. Order at the counter, the menu is hard to read, everyone uses togo menu to read. There is no extra dish to catch the grease or discard the bone. Have to ask for it. read more

My experience here was so bad I will not be coming back. Me and a friend of mine arrived at 8:30pm, to a dining room with chairs put up on the tables as if they were minutes away from closing. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip with chips, which was loaded with grease and flavorless. I asked for a manager but instead was told by a waitress that they would take 50% off of the price of the dip but not take it off completely and said manager did not address me directly. I was not offered an alternative, instead I had to sit and bear the disgusting bowl of grease and cheese. As we Sat at the table I observed a waitress having a conversation on the phone using explitives( the f word more than once ) which could be clearly heard across the restaurant. I guess since it was almost closing time customer service and courtesy already left the building. All the while trap music with more explitives blared from the kitchen. This by far has been the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experience I have ever beared witness too. I don't normally write reviews for restaurants unless they are exceptionally good. However, in this case the opposite applies. My family has eaten at this East Coast location three times because it's the closest to our home. All three times we've been the service has been pretty bad. The food is good and the waiters/waitresses are always nice, but seem to forget about the table. Our food was wrong the first time. The second and third we waited for at least an hour before getting our food. Out waiter never came to check on us. We had to flag down someone else to get refills on drinks and chips. I really think this East Coast has potential to be awesome if they retrain or hire new people to help serve. We will not be going back any time soon. :-( read more
