Youngest daughter and I went to lunch today. Got there early, only a couple customers. My hot buffalo wings were fine. Unfortunately, my daughter's medium boneless wings were STONE COLD. We are talking they were sitting out a little too long. They were room temperature cold and hard. I swear they were from the night before. It awful. Our server made it right and comped her meal. But in all seriousness, boneless wings take a few minutes to cook. And you couldn't get THAT right? 10/10 to our server. She was a sweetheart and was apologetic. 2/10 for the lazy slugs in the kitchen who failed miserably at the simplest of tasks. Pitiful. read more

Bumping East Coast Wings up a star after a few additional visits since my last review back in 2023. In the past, my issues were with the consistency with the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. I have been back a few times since and these issues have been corrected. Food has been on point and the cleanliness of the tables has not been an issue. Service is always very good. Wings are always the best option here. Several flavors and heat levels to choose from. If you want to stray from the wings, then I recommend the wraps or cob salad. That cob salad was actually very good and would highly recommend. Beers on tab and a full bar. Recommend. read more

1st visit ever. Last visit ever. Walked in to place an order to go. Waited about 5 minutes before someone appeared & took the order. Waited about 10 minutes for the food, paid, left. Ez enough. Ate some fries in the car: hot, fresh, Way Too salty/seasoned. I had ordered 5 bone-in Chili Thai medium spiced wings. Received 3 flats & 2 drums. Ok. Wings: Way over cooked and tough. The meat had No seasoning and No taste. The Chili Thai sauce had little to no flavor and certainly did not taste like anything nearing Chili Thai, or Chili, or Thai, or really anything at all except maybe some really weak and unflavorful standard buffalo sauce - which as stated, was not what I ordered. The "spice" was non-existent. Just yuck. Also ordered and received crudite. The carrots when whole must have been massive. As they were apparently sliced in the kitchen, deemed by their appearance, they must have been at least an inch and a half, looked, and tasted of dirt, so I imagine they were not peeled nor washed. The sides looked grungy and discolored. The celery was so pale that it was closer to white than green, and again I do not believe it was washed because of the dirty taste. The requested "chef created" (according to their printed menu) blue cheese dip was so runny it couldn't attach itself to the wings nor the vegetables and tasted very blah. Yep. One Star. Never again my friends. Ordered at 6:17pm on the phone, the gal read to it back to me THREE times, everything correct. I arrived at 6:50pm, food isn't ready. No biggie. 7:15pm and she comes with my food and only 2 of my 3 items are in the bag. She then tells me that she "meant to tell me" when I came in that they didn't have sliders... I didn't order sliders? I got tenders? So now I am sitting here another possibly 30 mins while they correctly make my food. No apology, just a "she's still new" with an attitude. If the food was for me and not my husband I would not be waiting here. Never again. read more

Called and asked to speak to a manager, put on hold and was spoken too by the rudest most condescending girl ever. Then was repeatedly hung up on. Decided to give them another go finally. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very friendly and attentive, something that improved this visit from the last. We started with the loaded tater tots. They seemed to be just frozen tots with processed nacho cheese and bacon bits on top. They were far too rich for us to even finish. The fries we ordered were pretty good but nothing special. The boneless wings I ordered for my main dish were better than I expected. The kamikaze sauce was actually really good. The bourbon honey mustard kind of just tasted like a strong mustard, didn't really get the honey part of it that I usually really enjoy. We might come back at some point and give them one last try but I won't be rushing back any time soon. read more

ECW Mocksville has always been bad, but I checked reviews and recent ones were four and five stars. So, we went here for my birthday, and it was so BAD that we left without eating. First, the place was almost empty, and it looked dirty. The windows were absolutely covered with fingerprints and smears. We were told to take any table, and the one we sat down at had not been wiped. A server wiped the end but said she could not reach the far side. My son wiped that for her. They gave us warm celery in two plastic bags. I am guessing someone did not pick up a take out. Maybe the wings were previous take out not picked up too. They were rubbery and dry to the point that they were inedible. They didn't even have but a couple of tablespoons of sauce on one side. I have never left a restaurant before, but I did tonight. My son and I drove a half hour to ECW in Salisbury where we got great wings and a cookie skillet. I've eaten at ECW Mocksville two or three times and knew it was not the best, but I know now that I will NEVER go back to East Coast Wings in Mocksville, NC. read more

I do NOT recommend ECW in Mocksville. My husband and I went Friday, 6/13/2025 we were sitting at a table in the middle so we were very noticeable. There were three waitresses not helping anyone but standing in a corner at the kitchen door laughing and joking around after 20 minutes of sitting and waiting on ANYONE to wait on us; we got up and left. Fast forward to Saturday evening 6/14/2025 - ECW in Clemmons - Excellent Service and we left our waiter a large tip. Maybe the employees in the Mocksville ECW could be re-trained by the Clemmons ECW employees on how to be respectable and how to treat customers. read more

Stopped here for dinner at 5:10 this afternoon. Came in, walked thru the restaurant and sat down at 5:14. Sat there until 5:24.... and walked out. NO ONE acknowledged we were there, no one brought water or menus. Disappointing. We enjoy the food, but if we wanted to wait to eat we would stay and home and wait. Need to be a bit more attentive to your customers or you will have more walk out. read more

We visited this East Coast Wings at 6:00 on a Friday evening. We sat right away and quickly served. Our server was courteous, made excellent recommendations and was very attentive. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was excellent. read more

Don't go! Turn around now! We arrived at 7:15pm. Shortly after, a screaming match happened in the kitchen between workers...the f bomb was heard multiple times through the restaurant and the restaurant went quiet. All the staff were not around for about 10-15 minutes. Finally our gravy fries came out, cold, the cheese was not even melted, still had a chill on it. That got sent back. Our chicken was hardly even warm. It was just awful. It's like a bunch of young people running it that have no idea what's going on. Workers leaving out the front door to chat with other workers. I called in an order at 7:52 & showed up at 8:25 to pick it up. The host went to the kitchen to get it & send another waitress back up to tell me my order "died" in the window. I asked her what that meant & she said she wasn't sure..another girls chirped in & said it means it got cold in the window? THEN she asked me what my order was. Turns out shortly after another customer walks in & had MY order they send home with her. When I spoke to the manager he and the surrounding teenage girls onlooking were VERY unapologetic. But the last two weeks we have had to make other plans. It's hard to pay rent, if you can't keep the restaurant open. Okay. Let me just start by saying they are WAY understaffed. Either that, or people are just too lazy to show up. When we went in, there was literally ONE server for the entire restaurant (not a huge place, but there were about 7-8 tables full). That's why I wasn't entirely disgusted when it took her about 15 minutes to even get our drink order. I understood. Poor little thing was working her heart out. Anywho, my husband and I had heard this place had better wings than BWW (which my husband loves, yuck). We were in Mocksville one day running errands and our little one said he was hungry, so we decided to stop here for lunch. Other than the understaffed issue, it was fine. We ordered the southwestern egg rolls as an appetizer and they were pretty good, especially dipped in their sweet thai chili sauce. My sweet & sour bbq shrimp tacos were pretty tasty. My husband had the wings and really enjoyed the flavors he chose (one was the cheddar jalapeno, can't remember the other). Word to the wise. He did the insanity wing challenge. Halfway through the first wing, he felt like he was dying HA! That's a lot coming from him. He tried the wing challenge at BWW and ate the entire wing without breaking a sweat much less making a face. This is the first time he's ever had something so hot that he literally could not eat it. We sat there for a good hour while he drank glass after glass of soda and milk, shoved down texas toast, and even had ice cream. His face was so red, his eyes continued to water for a while, and he was dripping sweat. He even had stomach pains later that night that like to put him on the floor. The staff that was actually there were extremely nice and helpful. They gave him free ice cream and texas toast (which they would normally charge for). We will be back to give this place another try. East Coast wings always has good food so I can't really knock the food. The service was decent. Several people checked on me and kept my drink full. The atmosphere is what prompted me to write this. There are 3 entrances and all lead you to a different random spot at the front of the restaurant. No indication if I should seat myself or what so I sat at the bar. The place was dead silent. No music playing in a restaurant is huge pet peeve of mine. I mentioned it and the server that took my order said, "yeah you came at the right time". Food was good and was correct but service was poor. Kept having to ask for things like drink refills, had to wait for silverware while I stared at hot food. Even had to ask for sides that are supposed to come with the entree (carrots and celery) Also when a table of 3 asks for a sauce, more that one cup is expected. read more

The food was the only good thing there. The service was horrible! I had to get up and find waitress to refill drinks for us. My husband didn't get his food until after everyone else was done eating within our group (and that was after us saying something twice). But to top it off....no air conditioning in half the restaurant. We had small children with us that we were having to whip the sweat off of their face (and it was not from the spiciness of the wings). Sometimes the wings are good and sometimes not... sauce is inconsistent from night to night, so is the service.

The staff are great and the good is awesome I would recommend this to anyone. I don't have anything bad to say about the restraunt maybe people just need not to be so critical when they come out to eat. read more

Understaffed! Their chicken is really good. If you are craving chicken, that is the place to go. When there is service, they are nice. They always seem scrambled though. Chicken is yummy! Fries are yummy! A lot of local people live there. Nice friery! read more

I have made numerous to-go orders from here and every time the order is wrong. The last time I went, I decided to check it before leaving and BOTH salads were wrong. One of them wasn't even made how it was listed on the menu....I had to tell them toppings were missing. The cooks also were not wearing gloves when putting things on the salad. read more
