Saw some great reviews on Facebook and since the sun was rising from the east and I was in the area, I decided to come in. First, as you walk in, you can see this place is well-kept. The floors are clean, the tables are wiped down, and everything from the displayed items for sale were well organized. First impressions are definitely important! The service was great! The owner or manager I think was working that morning and she was friendly. She gave me plenty of time to decide on what I wanted (even though the menu was short and simple, I still couldn't make up my mind). She rang me up speedy and efficiently. The coffee I decided on was the Cafe Mocha. I normally opt for just black coffee (my simple morning fix) at other coffee places but this time I had a gut feeling East Coffee was going to make something special in terms of a specialty coffee. After I received my mocha, I was not disappointed! There was something different about their mocha. It tasted really smooth and had the right amount of sweetness without being overly sweet. It had just the right amount of espresso and chocolate essence to it, probably the best mocha I've ever had. While you wait, they have an array of puzzle and games on the tables. Seems like they want you to hang out! I tried this one puzzle where it had blocks connected to a band and I think you must make a cube out of it. Anyhow, I never got to finish it because either A) I was too slow to figure it out or B) The drink was made too fast. I think it was the latter, of course. I've been meaning to go to East since they reopened, and I am SO GLAD I finally did! The inside is adorable (sad I couldn't stay but, COVID -- will be back again once it's safe!). I ordered a Latte with extra espresso (quad shot) and a Jalapeño Bacon Croissant. The latte was simple and delicious, and the croissant -- OMG. I'm going to have to stop myself from going and getting one daily. If you're in the Temecula area, I highly recommend swinging in for your caffeine + pastry fix. read more

Just left East Coffee and had to throw my full drink in the trash. The barista said she would make me a flat white but what I received for my $5 was a latte. The drink was full to the brim with steamed milk and no microfoam. I politely asked to have the drink remade. I said I would accept a cappuccino (since there seemed to be a frothing issue) but the barista told me I would have to pay for another drink if she remade it. Wow! That's terrible customer service. I had even tipped her 20% prior to receiving my drink. If the owner ever reads this I hope you will offer me a refund. read more

I want to give 5 stars but the weirdest thing happened to me today and I'm not sure how I feel now. I started coming to this shop 1.5 months ago for my daily coffee after dropping my daughter off at school. I recently ordered the cookie butter latte and asked for Vanilla cold foam and the girls there were so amazing let me pay and made the most amazing drink ever. I always add cold foam to my drinks and when I returned today I was met with pushback about adding cold foam to the drink. The guy gave me a hard time and said they were not allowed to add cold foam to that drink . I find it super weird to not let a paying customer order a drink how THEY want the drink. I even asked him if I could pay for the cold foam separately and pour it myself and he said no. Honestly I was so put off by the attitude and the fact that this seems like the most ridiculous thing especially when they offer cold foam on their other drinks. It's just weird. Especially when one employee gives no issues and I have a good experience and loved the drink and then someone else says it's an issue. I'm hoping there can be a resolution but just disappointed with the encounter today. The barista ultimately did say he would do cold foam for me this one time but that they won't be doing it anymore and it has put me off. Just know that you will be met with push back if you want to customize a drink there .., even if you want to pay for it. read more

EaST CoFFee is pretty much the Perfect Coffee Shop. If you are looking to socialize with friends this is your place, and if you're looking to bust open the laptop and get in the "work zone", this is your place. The Menu here is AMAZING. They really take their time on perfecting their recipes, and not to mention their Espresso is PERFECT! Not to mention they have an Awesome selection of drinks for Kids, which includes; Cupcake Steamers, Italian Creme Sodas, Cotton Candy Blended, and of Course- Classic Hot Chocolate :) This place For Sure has the strongest Iced Coffee and Cold Brew around!!! East coffee is cute inside and the service pretty good. I can't tell if the coffee was good or not because I asked for steamed oat milk and it seemed that at least half of the cup was milk and not coffee. Everyone seems to be a big fan of the açaí bowl but we had the chocolate peanut butter bowl and we are not fans. I don't think the ingredients are fresh, the açaí was most likely a premix. Coming from LA we have a lot of fresh options so this doesn't compare. read more

I must say that I'm highly disappointed in the service provided by East Coffee today. It has been a while since I've stopped in for some great pastries and a nice chai. However, the service and the products did not measure up. I ordered a Lorraine quiche and an açaí bowl. I literally received a burnt slice (slither) of quiche either overheated or overcooked, I'm not sure but it was crunchy, a quiche, crunchy. Strawberries weren't available for the bowl that I hose to order so I asked to have "frozen" mango to replace what they didn't have. The young lady told me I would still be charged full price regardless of what was missing, who does that??!! Oh by the way I would be charged extra to add the "frozen" mango in place of the missing strawberries. Then another young lady proceeds to call a manager on the phone to see if I needed to be charged extra. Ummm really?!!?! I expect better from East coffee. I just moved into the neighborhood about a year ago and found this gem. I love Le Coffee Shop so I was pumped to know this was a second location of theirs. I come to East Coffee at least 4 times a week. They have the sweetest employees who always strike up conversations and remember my order. tl;dr: coffee was 8/10, but employees didn't wear masks! I came in during a work break while my lunch was getting ready next door, and I ordered a cafe miel (honey and cinnamon latte). They asked me for blonde or dark roast, so having that option is definitely a bonus. The interior is really nice and the seating areas were open, and everything looked neat and tidy. The coffee itself was pretty decent, but I'm giving 2/5 because neither of the baristas were wearing their masks (one wasn't wearing one at all, and one was wearing one but it was pushed down all the way). Maybe I'll come back after the pandemic is over but until then, please keep this in mind if you're trying to be safe. read more

This is some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. The workers were very friendly especially the one that helped me named Abby. The cookie butter latte is to die for and me being deathly lactose intolerant I was happy with the oat milk. Went here for the first time on 4th of July before joining the festivities at the sports park and it was wonderful. It is very cute inside & has a really great vibe. There was plenty of parking. We ordered two iced white mochas and they were delicious. Not too sweet, not too strong, almost perfect. They offer a variety of drinks and snacks. The best part of my experience here was the staff. Both of the workers had a smile & were extremely friendly. They took care of us quickly and the drinks were made almost immediately after paying. They even took the time to bring our drinks over to the table we were sitting at. I will definitely be going back here next time I am in the area! read more

I come here several times a month, and with good reason. I've tried many different types of hot + iced coffees and all of them have been fantastic! The staff is super friendly and the environment is clean and usually peaceful - great for studying or finishing work outside of the home. The best London Fog I've had in a long time. The Earl Grey tea leaves this place uses are not overpoweringly perfumed, yet it still provides a hint of citrus. The tea is fresh steeped to order instead of being made in a concentrated batch, which I really appreciated. It wasn't too sweet either, I felt that the Barista knew exactly what they were doing. The Soymilk wasn't runny, I don't know what brand they use but it is creamy and of good quality. If I'm in the area again, I'll be excited to come back and try some of their other drinks! read more

Had a few different of their selections. Chai and tiramisu. It was just ok. The chai wasn't very spiced. It only really tasted like cinnamon. The salted tiramisu was just a mocha coffee. Nothing outstanding about this coffee shop and kind of run-of-the-mill coffees. Lighter roast than other places which is fine. Just wasn't all that impressed by it. read more

I ordered the iced mocha and it's perfect!! For me at least, it has the perfect mix of both espresso and mocha. Price was 4.89 for a 16oz iced mocha which is not bad compared to Starbucks prices and tastes way better than the mocha chocolate at Starbucks. Definitely will be trying again. read more

This place is awesome!! Totally blows some other coffee houses out of the water around here in Temecula! I ordered a black iced tea with mango, and a chocolate muffin which was amazing! Everything is super affordable + amazing service. The team at East Coffee was so friendly and nice! The aesthetic of the coffee shop is really on point & the service is pretty quick considered we had ordered 7 drinks. Unfortunately the comment all my sibling in laws & I noticed were that our drinks tasted a little watered down, ranging from the cookie butter latte to the chai.
