    Tonkotsu Ramen
    Bao Y H.

Ordered on GrubHub for pick up. Parked in the back and went through the rear entrance. Everything was ready when it was projected to be and pick up was seamless. Food was eaten about 30 minutes after pick up and everything was still good. All of the sushi and sashimi seemed fresh. Only issue was both of our noodles in the ramen dishes were stuck together in one large hard piece. It was difficult to unstick so we just eating it in big chunks which makes the experience less enjoyable. Probably would stick to eating their ramen in store. What we ordered: - Tonkotsu Ramen (Creamy tonkotsu (pork) broth with house shio (salt) sauce topped with chashu (roast pork), menma (bamboo shoots), scallion, red ginger, kikurage mushroom and seasoned boiled egg) - Miso Ramen (Miso broth, 2 pieces chashu, fishcake, bamboo shoots, corns, seaweed, scallions, half soft-boiled egg) - Sushi & Sashimi Lunch (4 pcs sushi, 6 pcs sashimi, 1 spicy crunchy tuna roll. Includes choice of miso soup or house salad but we upgraded to a Kani Salad instead for $3.50 more) After pick up I remembered that I have come there for their All You Can Eat a couple years back and it was a good experience. I will likely be back if I am in the area.

~39 for AYCE sushi, such a steal!! Came at 12 pm on a Saturday and it was empty!!! It's also BYOB The sashimi was very fresh, the tempura was super crispy. I'm a lover for salmon sashimi and eel and I enjoyed it very much. Not surprised since this is my second time coming back here The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and attentive Deff recommend :)

East Hana is another AYCE sushi restaurant but I prefer this place over the others (cough cough Sushi Palace). The quality is so much better and the sashimi cuts are thicker. The appetizer options are more wider here as they have pork buns and takoyaki! I love how for their sushi's they don't skimp out on the filling and sashimi and have the right balance with rice. The best part if you can't finish it, you do have to pay a penalty fee but they do also let you take it home.

All you can eat is the best deal ever--just do it. Everything was pretty tasty. Sushi did not skimp on the amount of fish. Service was efficient and patient with my party. Only con is the place lacked ambience. Free parking behind the strip mall.

East Hana is a repeated visit, always with fresh sushi and a welcoming environment. We try different dishes each time we come, and always end up leaving satisfied. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help with a recommendation. 10/10 place to bring a group and enjoy some good food!

Easy Hannah has always been a favorite spot for my family, and today's visit only reinforced why we keep coming back!First, the cleanliness of the place is impeccable. Every corner is spotless, which immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere. They also offer a designated parking lot for customers located conveniently in the back, which makes getting in and out hassle-free. The staff here are consistently friendly and accommodating. Today, the restaurant wasn't very busy, so our wait time was minimal, and the service went above and beyond. The server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We've been enjoying their all-you-can-eat sushi for years, and the quality never disappoints. Whether it's a busy day or a quieter one like today, Easy Hannah always delivers a great experience. We'll definitely continue coming here! Highly recommended.

East Hana Sushi never disappoints! The quality of the sushi is consistently excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It's also perfect for takeout; everything is packed neatly and stays just as delicious at home. I'll be posting pics of my recent takeout soon because it looked as good as it tasted. Highly recommend for sushi lovers looking for both dine-in and takeout options!

This review is just for pick up, but I already have plans to come back for the all you can eat! I searched Yelp while in the area for a late-ish dinner and luckily found East Hana. After double checking that it wouldn't be too long of a wait, I placed an order over the phone, picked it up less than 10 minutes later, and was home enjoying some fantastic sushi in no time. 5 stars for the eel avocado, salmon avocado and the seaweed salad! All of my go tos anywhere I order from, but fantastic nonetheless. Fish was fresh, and not to much rice, and I loved the seaweed salad as well. No complaints! And lots of plans to return.

    Shrimp Tempura Roll and Eel

All-You-Can-Eat Sushi is a great bang for your buck. For ~$30, you can fill your belly up to your heart's desire and get your money's worth. The menu includes salads, soups, hot appetizers, kitchen entrees, sashimi, regular rolls, and special rolls. AYCE sushi generally offers inferior quality fish with limitations on certain items... so I usually lower my expectations when it comes to the rolls. I ordered... *Eel Sushi - 5/5 This was the best item I ate. They used long, thick cuts of eel and it was grilled perfectly. *Salmon Sushi - 3/5 Didn't taste as fresh, but not the worst I've had. *Spicy Salmon Roll - 3/5 Average. It could've been spicier. Rice seemed stale. *Shrimp Tempura Roll - 1/5 Messy, messy, messy. Some of the shrimp tempura were dry and soggy while others were too hard to even bite into. The roll was cut unevenly and sloppily with an obnoxious amount of rice. *East Hana Roll - 2/5 Supposed to include spicy crunchy crabmeat, avocado, topped with pepper tuna with chef special sauce. There was waaaaaaaaaaay too much rice (as expected for an AYCE establishment). The crabmeat wasn't spicy or crunchy; it was just imitation crabmeat. The sauce was overbearingly sweet and they didn't top it with pepper tuna... I basically ate a California roll drenched in sugary sauce. Meh. Nothing great here. Rolls and fish weren't the freshest. It seems like they use cheap ingredients. I wanted to try more special rolls but I was so disappointed in the East Hana that I decided to pass. I would probably skip this spot and look elsewhere for better quality. I will say the service was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant was clean with ample parking in a lot in the back.

Excellent service, fresh food and great prices! All you can ask for in a restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh!!! From favorite to least favorite: Broccoli in brown sauce 10/10 Dragon roll 9/10 Green salad with ginger dressing 9/10 Crab Rangoon 8/10 Miso soup 7/10 I didn't try the tuna roll but my sister said it was delicious. The menu is robust and definitely has something for everybody!! Even an all you can eat option, though we didn't try it, there seemed to still be some good options on it. This is a great place to visit in Metuchen. It's a little tucked away from the main downtown area but it's so worth it!!!

My go to stop in Metuchen for sushi. They have a very good variety of sushi for AYCE, along with other items on the menu. They have the option available all day for lunch dinner and are open all 7 days unlike some of their competitors. Service was up to standards. There a good amount of traffic for take out orders also. There is a private parking lot at the rear of the restaurant. Ambiance is nice too. They have TV mounted on the wall, which has a slideshow constantly playing their menu items and pictures. In essence, it helps decide what to order as you eat along.

$32 for AYCE dinner. I've been wanting to eat the AYCE here for quite some time, and I'm happy I've finally got the chance. Nothing stood out as "bad" - a lot landed in the area of "pretty good" with some things to make note of compared to competitors: - All around good sashimi. The cuts are smaller than the typical piece (cut in half). - Some fish, like Yellowtail and Tuna, are available only as sushi or rolls, not sashimi. - The specialty rolls we got were HUGE. Way bigger than other specialty rolls at other locations - Be aware of ordering too much! - All the fish tasted fresh, and the yellowtail sushi I thought was super good. The boiled dumplings were solid. - Good service. While the ice cream (I had the green tea - very creamy!) was the slowest to come out, most of the food came fast. - Not a big restaurant. Fairly crowded at 9 pm on a Sunday - Someone at my table was not that hungry, and they allowed her to order off the regular menu instead of the AYCE like myself and my boyfriend. That was appreciated!

One of my new favorite sushi spots in the area. I've gotten the same experience dining in as I have delivery. Sushi is fresh, staff is awesome and pricing is fair. Always a steady flow of people during lunch time but a relatively quiet spot. If you are in the area it's worth a visit

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

Like many people today, I'm mindful of what I spend dining out, so I expect good value for the price. Since I live in South Jersey, I brought the food home to eat later. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The ramen included four slices of chashu (pork belly), but three of those slices were entirely fat with no meat. I understand that pork belly naturally contains fat--that's part of what makes it flavorful--but receiving pieces that were essentially all fat made the dish unpleasant and felt like poor quality control. I called the restaurant to share my concern, but the response was underwhelming. I was simply told the manager would be informed. When I asked if there was anything further that could be done, I received no real resolution--just a basic explanation of what pork belly is. As someone who understands the product, that explanation missed the point. The issue wasn't what chashu is--it was the quality of what was served. Everything else about the meal was fine, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, customer service matters just as much as the food. A simple effort to address the issue or offer a solution would have made a big difference. As a former business owner, I've always believed customer satisfaction should be a top priority. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and for that reason, I won't be returning.
