Terrible. I ordered two pounds of crawfish and all the extras by phone. When I got there they had initially lost my order but then found it. I paid via card. After an hour and still no food I found out they had lost my food again but would make it again. Then they came back and said they ran out of sausage...that was when I decided to cut bait (literally) and asked for a refund. 3 days til I supposedly will see the refund. Over an hour wasted. Passing through on I-30 Wanted some seafood and found this place on Yelp. Was easy on/off exit so decided to give it a try. The catfish were thin fresh fillets of crispy perfectly fried and seasoned morsels of white fluffy fish. The fried shrimp were also well seasoned , not salty and fried really well. Also tried the fried green tomatoes which came with a white dipping sauce that was excellent. These weren't your typical big slices of fried green tomatoes but rather bite size pieces that you could just pop in your mouth. They were nicely fried and had a slight sweetness that went well with the hint of spicy seasoning.. Delicious!! The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and quaint. Will definitely stop here again if I'm ever in the area. read more

The food was fast and fabulous. We had the three piece catfish with fries and slaw, fried pickles as an appetizer. The pickles and fish both had a perfect flaky breading and good flavor. Great crawfish. Also buy the Willie dust and dust it on everything! If it was for crawfish they would get a 5! But the catfish and chicken. The portions are so tiny! Like no way make a meal. My son got a chicken dinner (kids meal) and there was on piece of chicken the size of his pinkie. We ask the waiter if this was normal..he said yes. The taste, the service is excellent. Gotta say, I reviewed this place as 5 stars just 2 years ago. After tonight I'm gonna have to bring that down to 1 star. Here lately the place has gone downhill drastically. I got my food which was quick and that's good. When I got home I opened my crawfish bag to 7 crawfish, 5 mussels, 4 potatoes, 2corn, and 1 sausage. My actual order was 2lbs crawfish, 1lb mussels, 4 potatoes, 4 corn, and 1 sausage. No big deal right, people make mistakes. It's the follow up that got me. I called back to let them know what happened, the guy that answered the phone was super nice and got the manager, this is where it went downhill. She didn't even let me finish telling her what was wrong before saying, "let me ask my manager," and just sending me straight to hold. She told me I would have to come back to get it corrected, all I wanted was for them to take my name down, like they have in the past, I was told no in a way that had a lot of attitude. So it made me mad enough to say some expletives and hang up. Here is where it gets interesting, I took the food back to get my money back. When I get there Gary who has worked there "9 1/2 years," as he says, tells me he doesn't appreciate me "cussing out his manager." I told him I said some expletive words in anger from the attitude from his manager. He then proceeds to let the manager with the attitude argue with me at the register about what she said. I told him that I was not there to argue with him or his manager and that I brought my food back and I just want my money back. His response, "it's just me and you in this restaurant." Keep in mind this was in front of the entire staff and customers were just outside the door in the outside eating area. I once again just asked for my money back so I could leave. I get home and review my receipt to find that they refunded me what was in the bag only and not what I ordered. My wife goes back to get the rest of the refund and the response was "our register is already shut down." They offered us free food in the next 30 days in exchange for the difference. My wife said okay and left. I honestly want my money and they can keep thier food. The whole ordeal has me never eating here again. 10/10 would not recommend. Horrible customer service as of late. I have both receipts and proof if the owner would like to discuss. Not interested in local management as they are 100% of the problem. The rest of the staff is super nice and friendly though. read more

My husband and I recently moved to Arkansas from California and one of my promises to myself was to try things I've never done before. Well, I have never eaten catfish before so we decided to give Eat My Catfish a try. From the time we went through the doors, ordering and waiting for our order, the place was packed! Good starting point! It smelled delicious and I could not wait to try the food. I ordered the two piece catfish meal, which comes with two pieces of catfish and two sides of your choice along with hush puppies. I got my order with FGT and coleslaw. The catfish was AMAZING! Not fishy nor boney , as what I was told it would be by others. The catfish melted in my mouth and had a great seasoning. You have got to try their Willy Seasoning, its to die for. Oh I should add that my husband ordered their boiled shrimp (I'm allergic) and he said it was one of the best shrimps he's ever had! I was visiting from Dallas, TX last weekend, and 3 friends and I went here for lunch. Got there at 11:30 and left 6 hours later. Food was DELICIOUS, and the employees there were awesome. I have never eaten anywhere where I felt so welcome and had such a good time due to the company I was with and the friendly employees. I had catfish, fries and green tomato relish. The other store that just opened in Little Rock At it's new location is out of control! The management in charge should not be in charge!! I always see the managers on their phones not helping there fellow co workers when the store is packed and help looks much needed! I've seen the way the owner treats his employees and I could hear the owner "Travis" arguing with an employee from behind the counter! We ate at the Benton location last week. I ordered a 2 piece catfish dinner. The catfish was so small it was ridiculous. No flavor The hushpuppies were tiny not to mention gummy inside and overcooked on the outside. The fries were okay. Ordered the fried pickles and they were the worst I had ever had. Grandson ordered the chicken tenders. Being a child he liked them but they were overcooked somewhat. Hubby ordered the fried shrimp and for Arkansas the shrimp wasn't to bad. Again.. overcooked but gummy inside hushpuppies and fries. For what we paid it was small meals, not cooked well and little flavor. Not going back. read more
