After viewing all the good reviews we tried this restaurant and was disappointed. The food was very oily and the fries had too much salt. I am not sure what but both me and my wife got sick after we left the restaurant. They seem to be very busy on a Friday night. Pros: 1) Friendly staff and very polite. 2) We brought a coupon for buy one and get one half off and they messed it up so I had to go ask for refund which they did without any issues. But what if I did not pay any attention. 3) reasonable prices. Cons 1) They claim to be the best catfish place. But no they definitely are not. 2) I can see the staff are not very experienced. 3) catfish, Chicken tenders and Fries all had too much oil and not very healthy. 4) I like attention but not every few minutes some one comes and asks are you doing ok do you need anything. But finally when we needed a to-go box there was no one around. Overall. We had a bad experience but I will definitely return again and update the review. read more

I've had the food before at catered events but this was my first time to check out their Benton location. When you walk in there is a wall with the menu on it. You place your order at the counter before being seated. Don't worry if you didn't have time to see all of the menu on the wall...there's another menu at the counter . Totally had to try the garlic fries... so delicious . Prices are very reasonable. Everything was fresh & hot and quick. Staff was very courteous. We had a friend from out of town today and decided we wanted to let him have some Southern Pride catfish so we headed out to Eat My Catfish. We all ordered catfish and Paul our guest from San Antonio Texas and I ordered gumbo. The gumbo Roux was good but you could tell that the shrimp was frozen and it was tough to eat. You also need okra in your gumbo. The catfish was good but it was not very crispy they needed to change their oils. For dessert we ordered the fried pecan pie with ice cream. Again it's time to change your oils the crust was not crispy at all but I do have to say the pecan filling was wonderful. Our ice cream had part of the ice cream container in the ice cream so make sure when you're dumping out that little cup you get rid of the styrofoam. We will be back but I was a little disappointed especially since we had guests from out of town. Do better next time. read more

I'm not a big fan of seafood items. However the catfish is good but the chicken tenders are my favorite. And sometimes I enjoy a crawfish or two, I just can't eat very many of them. But it's a fun and enjoyable place for lunch or dinner. read more

I have heard great things about this place so we came to try it out on Sunday afternoon. The cashier said they were out of potatoes so we requested fries and they said we couldn't do that. We asked for a mich ultra and they were out of that. We asked if we could get extra shrimp with our bucket and they said we couldn't double up which wasn't the case, we were asking to pay for more shrimp. The food was alright but the service just sucked at the beginning and that's the reason we won't come back. read more

If you're in Benton, Arkansas and love catfish, Eatmycatfish is delicious, but don't expect to get a deal: I presented a coupon from the "Restaurant Guide of Saline County" after placing my order and Eatmycatfish declined to honor it. I was told upon presenting it that the coupon wasn't good on weekends. When I explained it was Friday, they explained that they meant it was only good Monday through Thursday. I said it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon, to which they replied "yes, it does," but even after she validated I was right, she declined to honor the coupon. Maybe I'll go back there sometime, but I have to say I'm not inclined to go back anytime soon. *********UPDATE********* You know what speaks volumes for a business? When the business owner, himself, reaches out to you personally to take responsibility for an unfortunate situation and make it right. Best catfish I have eaten in Central Arkansas in a few years. Best fried okra I've ever eaten. The peel and eat shrimp are jumbo and cooked perfectly. Love the spice that they make and place at the tables along with some wonderful Cajun spiced tarter sauce. The service is superb for a "order then seat yourself" kind of place. The staff seems to care greatly that you are well taken care of. I like this place more and more every time I visit! read more

This place has amazing Southern Fried food!! Everything was fresh...as fresh as fried food can get...but not over cooked. Catfish is done with cornmeal batter, shrimp are fried firm and just perfect! The only food item that are also available other than fried are the shrimps, which comes in 'broiled' option. Eating at this place is not expensive at all and even though I am not a big fan of fried food, the catfish is good. I wish they had more 'non-fired' options. read more
