I honestly didn't expect much, we lived close to this strip about a decade ago and I remember most businesses suffering, and for valid reasons. The decor and music offer a nice vibe and fun ambiance, a place that can be perfect for a date night or girls night, but also just fun for your random Wednesday evening when you don't want to cook. The chicken parm entree was plentiful and delicious, though, with great portions and presentation. The meat was juicy, perfectly fried and breaded without being overcooked or soggy from the cheese topping. My husband ordered a Margherita pizza which was also tasty and fresh, but I feel like it could have been a tad larger for the price. We had our son with us, so we ordered chicken tenders and fries for him, and I was impressed with the quality and quantity of food for a kids meal. My friend and I randomly found this restaurant on the Yelp app on Saturday and I'm glad we stopped here for an early dinner. The appetizers, entrees, and drinks were delicious. My friend and I got there as soon as the restaurant opened and were promptly seated at the high top tables near the bar. Our server's name is Omar and he did a great job giving us recommendations for food and drinks. I took off one star because there didn't appear to be a lot of chicken in the chicken calzone. All in all, my friend and I plan to return in the future to try some of the other food options. When it comes to their response to the pandemic, my friend and I were able to safely eat inside. The staff wore masks and everyone who was either dining inside of the restaurant or sitting in the patio had to wear a mask. Wonderful experience! I dined alone so I decided to sit at the bar. My server was Omar and he took good care of me :) I had the Caesar salad and seafood linguine, both were delicious (The pasta was a tad over cooked, I like mine, al dente) I love the atmosphere. We tried this place out on a recent Saturday evening. We made a reservation for 6 p.m. (same day). Some of the online listings implied it was located in Toco HIll, but it is actually a mile or two down North Druid Hills Road at (what used to be called) Loehmann's Plaza (at Briarcliff & North Druid Hills). Parking was not a problem as the plaza's lot is pretty big. The restaurant has a front dining area that is probably a patio in the summertime. In winter, they mostly enclose it with plastic and add heaters, so that it is adequate as an extra dining room. You enter through this to the actual dining room. When we went, there was some large baby shower in progress in the outer room. It was pretty noisy (with kids) but once inside we couldn't hear it. The interior is fairly nice. The have a large bar to the left and a couple of long aisles flanked with tables. There seemed to be a variety of people visiting: college couples, prom couples, neighborhood families; quite a mix. The menu had a decent spectrum of choices. I enjoyed some mushroom ravioli; my wife got some sort of sandwich that she enjoyed. Service was a bit delayed in engaging at first, but was fine after that. In all, a good meal. Prices weren't out of line. If we lived in the area, I'd likely go back. We'll definitely keep it in mind for whenever we are in this area around dinner time. read more

An impromptu date for my husband and I took us to the Battery. I had been craving Italian and wanted to try something new. The Salmon Cannelloni was terrific and so was my husbands Lasagna. We started the entire meal off with a entree portion Cesar salad that was quite taste. The Suite 21 was my cocktail of choice because I do love a dirty martini. I don't usually write a review for a place I didn't physically dine at, but I didn't have a good food experience so here we are. I ordered the Margherita pizza and the bruschetta to-go. I've never had such stale and stiff bruschetta and the pizza was really bad - it didn't even taste like Margherita! If you're searching for pizza, then this is not the place - head to Domino's instead, I promise it's better. Our favorite place for dining with the entire family! We take our 3 young kids there once or twice a month and it's always excellent. The food is great, the wine and drink list is expansive. I could barely get my butt in the passenger seat before I opened Yelp to pen my review. We had reservations on a Friday night and were excited to try this place since we had heard so much about it. I'd have given this place 3.5 stars had we not had a terrible encounter with the manager. I'll get to that later. The ambiance is cute. It's tucked away in a shopping center with patio dining and live music. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and scored a great table. Our server was clearly super busy, but did the best he could to serve his tables well. Things were a little slow and we had to ask for things more than once, but we could see that he was hauling tail to keep up with his tables. We ordered calamari (good), marinara pasta with seafood (okay) and veggie tagliatelle with shrimp (good). I frequent another Italian restaurant that gives double the seafood, and makes homemade pasta, but I still like this one. When it was time for the check, my husband provided a $50 open table reward. The server comes back and declares it declined. We stare blankly so the manager comes over and spoke to us in a disrespectful tone, insinuating that we were trying to get over. I implored him to investigate further. I asked if he tried to call the phone number. He snappily asked if there was one - I nodded and told him to call. He came back and informed us that number said there would be long wait times. He clearly hung up and thought it was over. No sir. It is not. My husband calls and in 5 mins told him how to process it. The manager takes the advice and came back sheepish. He apologized for the "inconvenience" but by this time, it fell on deaf ears. What a poor display of customer service. We spend a lot of money on dining out and we will never spend another penny here. Not one. read more

Eataliono was on my list of restaurants to try in my neighborhood for some time. I finally decided to try it last night and I was quite underwhelmed. Their menu seemed so promising and perhaps I ordered incorrectly however, everything we ordered was fell a bit flat. From the caprese salad which had a very dry mealy mozzarella to the Marsala chicken which lacked the sweet Marsala, dinner was a bit disappointing. Given the abundance of Italian restaurants in the area, I likely won't return however, I would encourage you to try Eataliono and just avoid the caprese and Marsala. We saw an order of their fried cheese sticks go by which looked quite promising and it appears their seafood linguine is a popular dish. Perhaps stick with those. read more

Went here on Valentine's Day. We expected a long wait although we had a reservation. It took a long time for the food to come out but the real issue was the seasoning. The lobster ravioli were $30 for 6 ravioli that were filled with minced lobster meat mixed with filler. The mini crab cakes were filled with celery chunks. My food was cold. I sent it back and they heated it up. No apologies. Hubby's Italian Wedding soup was good and so was my Greek salad. His chicken Florentine was not seasoned either. I had an awesome time at EATaliano Kitchen in Toco Hills. The restaurant is beautifully and smartly decorated. On their patio they have a lovely fireplace (romantic) and heaters to keep you warm if you decide to eat on the patio. The music playlist is classy and relaxing, which I enjoyed. My boyfriend and I came to the restaurant around 4:30 pm so the restaurant only had about 2 patrons dining in, which was great. Our server was very attentive and prompt. For our appetizers, we had shrimp scampi which was amazing! I would definitely recommend it. The sauce it came it had lemon juice, garlic and parsley which are necessities for a great shrimp scampi sauce. For dinner, I ordered the seafood linguine and my boyfriend ordered a steak calzone.
