I have been here a few times and always have the same Chopped Salad. It is delicious! Fresh lettuce with artichokes, peppers, white beans and salami. It was great! I also tried a cup of the Wedding Soup. Loved the meat balls! Great broth! It was a larger portion for the smaller cup. In the past, I have tried the chicken piccata and it was delicious! Walking into EATaliano, I was pleasantly surprised at the decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant. There is a nice sized patio area that you see before entering, and the main dining space has a rustic yet modern feel. The menu has Italian favorites including calzones, pizza, and pasta dishes. My inner fatty was sooo excited! I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan which was delicious. The portion size was large and I was able to take some to go for lunch the next day. The eggplant was nicely seasoned and tender and the pasta was cooked to my liking. I went on Valentine's night and there was a bit of a wait for the food because the restaurant was pretty busy. However, our waiter was attentive and made sure to check in with us while we waited. Since it was Valentine's Day, we were offered complimentary Red Velvet Cheesecake. The cake was a little dry, but overall satisfying and really pretty lol. We also ordered a cannoli which I did not care for (had a weird taste and texture to the filling). We live in the area. This is our go-to local spot. The food keeps getting better. Our favorites are the arancini balls (they keep tweaking the recipe and they're pretty perfect now), chicken parmigiana, risotto with mushrooms and chicken, and the pizza (I get the green goddess, yum). We miss being there in person. The owner Marc would always come say hi. I'm so glad to see they're pulling through the challenging COVID times. read more

We've been going to the Lidl grocery store for quite some time and wanted to try EATaliano as it is like next door and looks good from the outside. Last night we finally went. This is a very cute restaurant with a nice outdoor patio that is heated and it was no problem that we had our dog with us. Service was very friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. I was impressed before I even walked through the door. I love the outdoor sitting area before you enter the front door. The entire setting is just well designed and has a really comfortable feel. Our waiter, Omar was excellent. He was knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. The Italian accent also added to the authenticity of the restaurant. They have excellent drink options. My lady and her best friend ordered the PUMPKIN SPICE MARTINI and it was amazing! I'm not a big alcohol drinker but I kept taking a sip of my girlfriend's (she ordered 3 lol) . I had a really hard time choosing what to have for an entree. Everything sounded really good but I ended up going with steak calzone. It was great but the beef could have had more flavor. My lady and friend ordered Mussels and loved them. My friends also RAVED about the authenticity of pasta plates so I will definitely be getting the pasta the next time I come back. I got their 12 inch vegan pizza with mushrooms spinach and olives and it's delightful I'm eating it right now and I couldn't be happier. I also got their salad with quinoa and cherry tomatoes and avocado and it's a perfect healthy hearty complement to this -still pretty healthy- pizza. So glad we yelped and found this little gem! It was our son's birthday and he wanted his favorite: Fettuccini Alfredo. The food was delicious and fresh. We had an appetizer of Buffalo wings, which were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with a tangy Buffalo sauce. My husband and I both ordered the seafood linguini, mine with homemade marinara and his with white wine sauce. Both super yummy, piping hot, with right amount of shrimp, mussels, and clams. I finally stopped by this place after years of not noticing it was in this plaza. It was a date night and with covid, I'm down for any place with outdoor seating. The service was good. I ordered chicken Parmesan with grilled chicken and my boyfriend ordered chicken Marsala. The food arrived in a decent time however, it wasn't seasoned very well. It was visually pleasing but the chicken and the spaghetti was bland. I fixed the spaghetti up with some salt and pepper and pushed through the meal. Boyfriend liked his chicken Marsala. I was disappointed in the bread. I feel all Italian spots should have complimentary bread but ima bread head. I was disappointed it wasn't garlic bread...if it was I didn't taste any garlic. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. I had the riveted steak sandwich and my wife had the chicken parmesan sandwich. They both came out hot and we're delicious. My only issue was that my side of French fries was way to salty. It wasn't a problem because the sandwich was very large and filling. Our server offered to replace them but I was stuffed. Came here last Friday for a birthday dinner. First off...Love the location. Located in a shopping center with a beautiful patio seating area. And they also have live music! I'm not sure if this was a Friday night thing but I loved the band. I would have to say that this place looks a lot better than it really is. Don't get me wrong, my food was good but nothing to brag about. I ordered the greek salad as an appetizer (super fresh) and the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti as my entree. Presentation was beautiful for both dishes, check the pics. I also had a 6oz glass of moscato, which was very sweet and crisp. Our waiter was a little annoying but he did an okay job. We waited a total of 2+ hours, made 6 phone calls, waited 7 times on hold, and spoke to the manager. This place is a disaster. When the food did come it looked like it had been sitting. Fantastic food made fresh. That's why I'm writing this review. Even the simplest item, such as spaghetti, you can taste the in house touch. Our server was nice, and the follow up was there. The restaurant was clean. Options of outdoor seating with very nice heated (during the cold weather), high top table seating, regular restaurant seating, and the bar are all options of where to sit. I especially loved the steak calzone; I loved it so much I strongly considered returning to this place and picking one up for my flight back to Chicago. My 6 year old said it was delicious, he's a foodie like me:) He loved it so much that he asked me do we have an Eataliano is Chicago. I told him no and he replied with "see that's why we need to move out of Chicago". The guy wants to leave his hometown for this calzone lol. It's THAT good. Eh, is all I can say. I've only had the chicken parmesan and it was average at best. Pretty pricey at $21 and was expecting better and bigger portion. I'm used to a pounded flat chicken that is breaded and fried. This chicken was thick and didn't taste like it was fried. Looked like it was all thrown into an oven and baked. Not much sauce on it and the cheese was hardly melted. Flavor of the chicken wasn't bad. The sauce and spaghetti it was served with was good. Also, the garlic bread sticks were pretty good. Spent over $100 to get delivery through Door dash. The pastas were fine but the "vegan" pizza was inedible. This negative review is just as negative to Door Dash as the only type of pizza offered under "Pizza" apparently is vegan so it doesn't stand out when trying to place an order. Not sure why you can't order a non-vegan basic pizza from this restaurant through Door Dash. To their credit, the restaurant apologized and mentioned something about asking a manager to approve sending out another pizza, but since it took 90 min for this one to get here, it's not worth waiting.
