Finally had the chance to try out Eating House after its relocation from 8st. We arrived on a Tuesday with a 6pm reservation, the crowd had not yet begun so we were sat right away. I had the Stillwell Angel drink and it refreshing all while being sweet. Our table ordered a few appetizers including the Local Burrata "Timba" which was delicious, 'Kung Pao' Cauliflower, and the Brussels Sprouts 'Cesar' which was a very nice change up to the typical Cesar salad. For my main course I decided to finally try their famous Pasta 'Carbonara' and it was better than I expected, the truffle is just the right amount and the egg on top was the perfect topper. Everyone enjoyed all of their dishes as well as the drinks. We made sure to leave some room for dessert and ordered the Dirt Cup for the perfect amount of sweet to end such a great dinner. Definitely recommend coming here, make a reservation if possible as it seems to be busy, by the time we were done there was a full house and it was only Tuesday. read more

Birthday dinner at Eating House. The pasta carbonara is probably one of the best dishes I've ever had. The service was impeccable and Patrick took very good care of us. I chose the #miamispice menu; the burrata, the pasta carbonara (which comes with an egg yolk in the middle of it which is mixed into the pasta at the table) and the dirt cup for dessert. I have always been a huge fan of Eating House and all the wonderful new items they continuously bring out on the menu. I must admit that I do miss the vibe & quality of the food from the OG location. Once this restaurant reopened and relocated, I do not feel the same love in the menu and food as it was. Now I see a lot of people complaining about food prices but unfortunately, it is the times that we are living in. Food costs have gone up and so have labor costs. If you cannot afford to eat out, then stay home simple as that. I had reservations for the 4:20 eating experience, which is my favorite of the year, but I will say that I was let down starting off with the menu they had which is preselected. Now the issue I have with this is, If you have customers paying for an experience, make sure that all items to choose from are available starting with the alcohol down to the last eatable item available. This is a big mistake for whoever was in charge of stocking & supplying this experience. The first time this has happened, but still disappointing. read more

Was not planning to return anyway from how over priced and plain their menu is but I ordered a simple burger medium-well only to receive it rare. I didn't ask them to remove it from the check because I myself am in the industry and I know things happen. So I ask them to make it as i ordered and put it to go. I get home to only find out they use the same burger they under cooked but didn't even cook it correctly for me a 2nd time. You guys are pathetic. I hope the Owner, chef Giorgio Rapicavoli reads this and fires the chef that was in this day 10/18/25 during the lunch. The Eating House in Miami has recently moved from just off of Calle Ocho to the pedestrian area on Giralda Street. It's a beautiful new larger space, very modern with a beautiful bar. The wait persons and staff that greet you are very friendly and helpful. And the menu is superb. I had the yellowtail snapper which was cooked just right and it's a very nice portion. I also had the grilled carrots which were a great accompaniment. I also had the dirt cup for dessert which was wonderful - candied hazelnuts on top of hazelnut ice cream with a crushed chocolate topping - delicious! This restaurant has always had great innovative dishes and the move to a larger space did not change that approach to food. Being a client of the old Eating House, I only thought it would be appropriate to celebrate my birthday at the new Eating House. So I am writing a review after trying the new Eating House on Giralda. I wish, I could have given them a good review as I did in the past. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THIS RESTAURANT?? The service was horrible to begin with. After waiting for more than 20 minutes to order, our food took another 30 minutes to arrive. We each received our appetizers separately. The brussels sprout salad was so dry, hardly no dressing. Asked one of the food runners for salad dressing and they never brought it. When the second food runner came, we asked him and he brought it. Our table was off balance. Our beverages almost spilled all over the table. The food took another eternity to come and when it did, it came out one by one. By the time, I was halfway done eating my food, my son got his and after another 10 minutes, my daughter received hers. The food was average not good. I ordered the Brussell Sprouts as my side dish, I used to order them at the old location and I loved them. These Brussell Sprouts were one of the worst, I have had. Definitely not going back. We only saw the waitress when we ordered and one other time that she came by. The bill was dropped off by one of the other waitresses. Service was horrible and we were automatically charged a service fee, which obviously was not earned. read more

Had a great experience at eating house! Relaxed, modern yet cozy vibe. The bartender is great! The captain crunch old fashioned (yes you read that right) was somehow sweet like captain crunch but not over the top dessert in a glass. It was exciting to see bone marrow done right! Great flavor on top and plenty of bone marrow to spread on the bread! Maybe the prettiest bone marrow I've seen in a while too. The chicken plate was great with spicy carrot sauce and toasted carrots. I loved that they fried and roasted chicken options. The Parker rolls were perfectly fluffy and flavorful! Walking in, I really liked the clean, modern aesthetic and the bright atmosphere with lots of natural lighting. We had a big party so we were able to try a lot of the brunch menu and let me tell you it did not disappoint! It was amazing!! My favorites was the heirloom tomatoes, the loaded tater tots and the chicken and waffles. The heirloom tomatoes had this coconut all over it and I thought it would make the dish super sweet but the fish sauce balanced it out really well. It was really cold and refreshing and delicious that I almost ordered another one. The loaded tater tots tasted really yummy with the truffle cream and black pepper. The truffle wasn't overpowering and the tater tots were nice and crispy. Yummy deliciousness! I only had a bite of the chicken and waffles from my friend's plate but the chicken was seasoned super well and the mini waffles were crispy and it was really good. I order the captain crunch pancakes and they were sweet and tasty but I prefer waffles more than pancakes for texture reasons. My friends really liked these pancakes and I really liked the flavor and if this came in a waffle form, I would hands down get it again. read more

Wow! This place was phenomenal! I hadn't been since they reopened and man what a mistake. I should've checked them out the first day they reopened. From the second I say down the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Lloyd was very thorough and expressive when it came down to explaining the tasting menu. He went into detail with every ingredient and just made the food sound so good. He was right; the tasting menu was extraordinary. The tasting menu was 7 courses and very fairly priced. The attention to detail in each course was impressive. I would have to say my favorite dish was the Shivers BBQ (Lloyd predicted it'd be my favorite). To wrap it up, I'd definitely recommend you check out Eating House and try out their tasting menu which they offer every Tuesday-Thursday. AMAZING!! Another 5 star for chef Rapicavoli. The flavors in every dish are paired so perfectly. The crispy potatoes are a perfect blend of cheese, caramelized onions in some bone broth with the perfect crispy potatoes. The Brussel sprout salad was amazing and they have crispy brussels at the bottom which add an amazing taste. The tuna crudo was so tasty with the truffle Leche de Tigre. The cauliflower was amazing. And the chicken comes with a baked piece and a friend piece. Both were incredible. The ambiance is amazing and the service was also amazing. When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and sat at our table. We were acknowledged immediately. Melissa was our server, and was amazing, attentive, and informative. I can say the service was great. Really attentive and knowledgeable, but we disliked every dish. The tuna crudo broke the rule of never serve grey food. And the egg yolk on top was a big turn off. The ribs were tender and flavorful, they fell apart the second you'd put your fork on them, they were anything but bland. The "Dirt in a Cup" dessert was just an incredible way to end the night, so good it'd be better to try it yourself than describing it. When Eating House closed at its former location, I was devastated...so you can imagine how happy I was that it reopened even closer to my apartment! I was fortunate enough to swing by and find a seat at the bar tonight and it is just as good as it was before. I was saddened by the experience I recently had. Always a solid choice to have increíble food and service. Food was solid but extremely slow to come. The bread for our appetizer came out 20 min after we received the burratta and the 4 dorito sized pieces were not worth the wait. The burratta and frita burger definitely were but the time it took for for them to come out made it very unpleasant. I'm not sure why the service was off, maybe it was because the servers had a shift change. I feel like that's never a good exp. Unfortunately that was the case here. read more

So my Wife had a rough day at work and decided she wanted to eat her feelings. Trying to disguise it as a surprise for me as I was fine staying home but sure I'll be a good sport. First time at the Eating Hoise. We were promptly greeted just walking up, and the door was opened for us. We had reservations even though it wasn't busy at all. My Wife had already decided that we were going to do the tasting menu. This is someone every quarter, so it's best to follow on IG to find out when the next time it will be done. Lloyd was our server ad was exceptionally friendly from beginning to end. The entire staff was friendly and professional we started off with drinks, EH old fashioned and a margarita. The tasting menu is five courses and plus dessert. It was more than enough to feed 2 people and leave full and satisfied. The plates were drool worthy. We could have definitely had seconds only if we had room. Our first time here and definitely would come back. There is another restaurant a few doors down owned by the same owner called Luca. We had American caviar served with salt and vinegar tots and and everything Creme fraiche. It's not real caviar I wish I knew what exactly it was but it was good! Lol. The carbonara fries were so delicious . The Parker house rolls were so soft fresh and buttery with a little hint of sweetness. And you can't go wrong with queso frito. Outstanding restaurant. It's a beautiful place with friendly, knowledgeable servers. They're all highly professional but patient and happy to go into detail about the menu. You can tell this is a well-trained staff. We ate at lunchtime. Our party of three shared the wedge slice, watermelon caprese, parker house rolls, grilled chicken salad, local yellowtail, and -- my favorite -- the cheeseburger. I was super excited to try the Eating House Miami Spice menu. My bestie and I just knew we had to go to Eating House as we had not been to the new location. We frequented the Ponce location often as my friend lived close by. Our server was nice and gave us recommendations. He was attentive throughout the night. We sat in the back room which was perfect for us as outside was a little loud. We ordered a bottle of wine- the Pinot Noir it was good. We decided to get the arancini balls and the watermelon burrata. The arancini balls were delicious- and the sauce they come with was so yummy. I wanted to love the watermelon burrata but texturally I don't feel like they paired well, the stringiness of the cheese was an odd pairing to me and my friend. For our main we had the short rib with mashed potatoes. The short rib was tasty and fork tender. The mashed potatoes were so thin I could barely get it on the fork I was disappointed. For dessert we got both ice creams- popcorn and fruit. Both tasted good but the popcorn melted so quickly that second scoop was like mush. I enjoyed the fruit ice cream. Overall it was not what I remember of the Eating House that did the 420 menu where I would not be able to even stand from being full. I left hungry and had to go to another spot for a couple apps to feel fulfilled. Not sure if I would go back as for the price- leaving hungry should never happen. read more

Eating house is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. I was so happy to hear it was reopening. It's been a foodies dream since it's inception and now after reopening it's just so much more than when it started. I went for its infamous 4/20 menu. I was thrilled to hear they were doing it again. Of course as always it didn't disappoint. It started off with yellowfin tuna pepperoni. I love cheese so to start with stracciatella is phenomenal to me. It has great flavor and it wasn't too heavy to weigh down the tuna. The next course was papa frita, my husbands favorite. Absolutely delicious. It is an experience. They serve it and then mix it in front of you. If I had to critique anything I just wanna mix it myself because I want to experience it I should of asked so it was my bad. The next was max and cheese. My favorite. I wish I would of taken a tub of it home. Just full of truffles. Completely opposite with the color scheme of all the other dishes. Black white and gray it was full of flavor. Cheesy but not overpowering. Neither was the truffle. The fried chicken sandwich. Ooooffff. Perfectly breaded. Would make any chicken sandwich look bad. It was also amazing. By this point I was reaching my stuffed limit but I was able to try the carne asada. Tender and well made. I'm just gonna skip to the star of the show: THE PANCAKES. man. I could eat like so many stacks of these. Obviously gaining like 20 pounds. But it would be totally worth it. Def a dining experience.
