    Turkey dinners

We had a perfectly acceptable Mel here while traveling on a road trip. It was clean, friendly service. Food was decent, hot and fast. It's a chain so we felt reasonably confident it would be ok. The nearby local diner had a huge line so we decided to come here instead... but even tho this wasn't our first pick it was good.

The food was great they accidentally messed up our order, but then made it really fast one bad thing is there was flies but other than that, it was really good service 4.5 STARS

Come to Eat'n Park in Somerset, PA and ask for Cathy as your waitress & she'll set you up & make you SMILE!

I'd like to give Cathy, who is a waitress at the Somerset Eat'n Park, 5 stars as she is so dedicated to her job in that she always fulfills our needs and always makes sure everything is neat and in order. I had such an awful day today @ my Dr. appointment, but ya know, before we left, she had me laughing so much I had forgotten what a stressful day it was. I just hope Eat'N Part realizes what a dedicated and hard-working lady Cathy is, after all she is what makes this company thrive. Without workers such as herself, this restaurant wouldn't thrive as it does now in Somerset! Thank-You!

This was our first time with this American dinner style chain restaurant and we really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty, more than fair portions, and very reasonable prices. We would definitely consider this chain next time we encounter them.

Stopped in this small city for the night since we were going head out to a nearby tourist spot and not much was opened at the late hour. We needed to eat and came here. The customer service was good, nice and friendly people. Took our order quickly and for our drinks. The restaurant seems pretty taken care of and clean. In my opinion, this is like a Denny's or IHOP; it has that vibe. The vibe wasn't the best. My fish came in it's own plate but was full of oil. So I just ate around it. Shrimp and broccoli were pretty good. Husband had two chicken filets with Mac and cheese. He said the Mac tasted old but it sure was cheesy. Lol! It's a sit down place but like I said reminds me of Denny's and IHOP. Any stellar? No, but decent food and great customer service. If it's one of your last choice limited option, I'd stop by here than fast food.

Whale of cod fish sandwich. Big!!

Road trip dinner didn't disappoint! I was in the mood for a substantial meal after lots of driving during the day. There's not that many options in the area and I picked Eat 'n Park for its close proximity to my hotel. I was deciding between a cheeseburger and a fish sandwich and my waiter helped me make the decision. When the fish sandwich came, it was HUGE. It's quite simple, just a piece of cod fried to golden brown and crispy between a roll (toasted!). I slathered some tartar sauce onto the fish and inhaled the whole thing. There was the option for a second side but I only asked for one - fresh potato chips. It came with ranch dressing. The chips were not a lot, which worked for me because I didn't want to eat too many of them :) Pricing was reasonable for the portion: $13.77 after tax.

The Mushroom & Onion Cheeseburger was fit to be my snack.

Over priced Sub par food, great service though. Basically the only place you can go if it's after 9 pm

The service depends on the staff and what time of day because I have had great service here but terrible service too!

If you follow my reviews, you know I'm a fan of old-school diners, the classics, and honest home-cooked food. Summit hits all three marks, serving straightforward and delicious American standards since the 1960s. The three-egg omelet loaded with veggies and sausage was exactly the pre-ski power-up I needed. My son stuck with his go-to breakfast burrito, and my daughter went with the classic two eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Everything was spot on. The staff has just the right level of "WWA"--Waitresses With Attitude. They are perfectly polite, but they hold the line on proper behavior and will quickly put anyone in their place if they step out of line. It keeps the environment grounded and authentic. A few tips for your visit: * Seating: Expect to wait for a table in the lobby or outside during peak hours. * Payment: Bring your wallet--this is a cash-only establishment.

Despite it being in Pennsylvania, it throws off a distinct hillbilly atmosphere. The usual signs about Jesus, Christmas and, of course, patriotism were in abundance. My party ordered a variety of dishes and I opted for the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Sorry to say, the food was just adequate. The beef was overdone and the gravy had the sheen of the bottled gravies at the grocery store. The mashed potatoes were the star of the show, however, as they were very good. The hamburger and pancakes ordered by others get similar reviews. It was a hamburger and tasted like one. The pancakes, being hard to screw up, were just pancakes. This is a cash-only place, so come prepared to be vilified for wanting to pay with plastic. The prices were lower than the norm but that did little to make me feel better upon leaving. Despite the dearth of customers when we were there, the service was also lacking. I had to seek out help to get a refill on my iced tea and we waited a while to pay...with cash. I can't really give this place any additional stars. Stop here if you absolutely can't wait to eat.
