We've stopped here twice now while traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. I had the soup and salad bar both times. There was a selection of 3 soups. The tomato Florentine soup was good; I added some pepper. The salad bar has a varied selection, including several fresh items, which I believe are locally sourced. Today, for example, the frisée was crisp and tasty. The unsweetened iced tea was delicious. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant is clean. It is family friendly and should be able to accommodate a large group. (There are many sandwiches on the menu, but we haven't tried those.) This Eat 'n Park is a good choice for a fairly quick meal. It's good value for money and worth getting off the turnpike -- it's close to the entrance. We'll stop again. read more

Over priced Sub par food, great service though. Basically the only place you can go if it's after 9 pm

Good breakfast bar. I love the corn fritters. The food can be hit or miss depending on how long the bar has been open. The waitress took some time getting to our table, but once she came she was very attentive taking our empty plates away. It is a nice spot to have breakfast on the way out to Indiana. read more

For a good sit-down environment, Eat'n Park is a great, sociable place to go. I have never seen this place empty, and the environment is always warm and welcoming. The salad bar is immense, and I could easily fill up on salad, but the menu choices are also good and sizable. The food is decent, and the service is way beyond exceptional. The wait staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are very easy to fit into your budget. For American dishes, Eat'n Park is a great place to find it. I can't wait to return. read more

Disappointing. Got there just before the breakfast buffet closed so we ordered breakfast from the menu. We had a longer than normal wait for our food, and it arrived barely warm. No hot, steaming breakfast. Cold home fries. Cold eggs. The eggs Benedict was over cooked. Coffee was good and our waitress was good, but we won't be back. read more

If you spend any time at all in Somerset, chances are that you have been or will go to Eat n Park at some time. I grew up in this town, and as a kid, spent a great deal of time at this place. Great food, moderatly priced, and family friendly, tuis is a place enjoyed by young and old alike. Great breakfast bar and salad bar, and the food is pretty exceptional. read more

This is my favorite Eat n Park. The food is better prepared and tastier than others in Western PA. They use local ingredients for their terrific salad bar. They will make changes to sandwiches if you request it. Staff if always nice, however I have gone late at night and they have been too slow- chatting with other customers and neglecting tables. read more

Honestly, we went here because the Summit Diner treated us SO poorly (we left the diner before we even had the opportunity to order food). I wish I could remember our waitress' name but she was a breath of fresh air after being treated like garbage at the other place. My advice to future Yelp readers - don't judge a book by it's cover. We only chose the diner because it looked cool and we already have Eat n Park's where we're from. I can honestly say that I've never been treated this well at an Eat n Park before. If for some reason we ever have to come to Somerset again, we'll be back :)! read more

This is a Good place to get good food at a very reasonable price. There is value it going there for a meal or snack. Service is very good. The menu offers the basics as well as occasional surprises. Go there! read more

Visiting from out of state and wanted to try something we dont have at home. The service here was wonderful. The restaurant was very clean. The salad bar was full of wonderful fresh food. They had a huge variety of food so it was hard to choose. I would definitely go back. read more

Well this was a good experience for us. It was very busy but you would not know it with the quick service we had. Soup and Salad bar looked great but we pasted on that, I got the lunch special steak & cheese with cole slaw and my wife ordered a BLT & fries. We both drank there delicious ice tea. Clean and well run place to get a quick meal. read more

My Husband and I eat at Eat n Park regularly. We have NEVER had a problem with them. The place is clean, including the bathrooms,(and smells good too) the waitresses are polite, and the food and bakery items are great! The menu displays a good variety of foods to please everyone, and fair prices. Why would anyone NOT want to eat there!! read more

Eat N Park has many different selections from breakfast to dinner. The prices are awesome too. The soup and salad bar is fresh and crisp. My last meal I ordered a Salmon sandwich that was superb! The waitress was very caring as well. She brought us our drinks in a timely manner and made sure that our meals were excellent. The cookies and pies are very tasty! The smiley cookies are always a "take home" dessert every time we visit. Eat N Park knows how to give a very tasty meal for a reasonable price. read more

We ate here because we were staying in a hotel nearby. The service was friendly and helpful both times we went (dinner and breakfast). My favorite part about the restaurant is that it had dietary information on the back of the menu, including calorie counts for the healthiest options and even a list of choices for those with celiac's disease. I went with the salad bar which was a little strange--the only meat on the bar was something chopped up that looked a little like ham but tasted a lot like bologna--yuck! There were 3 soups as part of the salad bar and both the potato (soup of the day) and the chicken noodle were very tasty. There were a couple of different choices for bread including a biscuit-looking thing which proved to be pretty awful and cornbread which I didn't try. The best part of the salad bar was the selection of fresh fruits--huge strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, and delicious pineapple--that's what sold me on it. My husband had the rosemary chicken with a side salad and a side of fresh fruit. One nice thing here is that you can choose whether to get a larger or smaller portion of chicken, which is great in a supersize world! He had the blackberry pie for dessert and I had a scoop of sherbet. They had lots of tempting smiley-face cookies on display but we managed to resist them. For breakfast, he had a standard breakfast and said the bacon was particularly good and the eggs were done perfectly. I resisted the breakfast bar because it looked delicious but calorie-laden, though the fruit was tempting. I opted for oatmeal with fresh strawberries and a skim-milk latte. The oatmeal was just ok, and the latte was not as good as Starbucks or Panera's but at least it tasted like a latte. I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to friends looking for reasonable prices, friendly service, and pretty good food. read more
