wow...speechless at how good this was. we were so caught off guard, for $49 per person for the premium AYCE we were not expecting too much considering that's quite cheap (here fishyfishy charges $78+). the salmon, scallop, sweet shrimp, cucumber salad, and yellowtail collar were standouts. i would say the same quality as top notch sushi restaurants that would charge $18 per 2 piece nigiri alone... we normally do not enjoy white fish much either like yellowtail, but it was so tender here we were amazed it was like butter. we ended up ordering 72 dishes for the 2 of us we can't wait to be back!! this will be our new staple

Very good ayce spot that we were recently introduced to by a friend. Love their ayce premium selection, including unlimited fresh wasabi. The soft shell crab and sashimi selections were all delicious. We maxed out the premium plates and ordered very little from their regular sushi menu afterwards. By ordering all the premium items you mind find yourself getting full before ordering the regular rolls and sushi pieces. I found it odd that an order of sushi was only 1 piece per order, most restaurants have a minimum of 2 pieces per order. You can order more food through various wait staff instead of waiting your waiter/waitress. Also reservations are available as there can be a wait. The parking is an issue as it gets busy and hard to find a spot in the rear garage, parking lots across the street at the movie theater or down the street was our best option.

This is my go to AYCE sushi spot right now. Fish-- usually very fresh. Occassionally we got a few less fresh fish, especially on weekdays. Quality is great for the price. They have weekday lunch special, and weekday night special now. Kids prices determined by height. My 9 year old is full price now. My 7 year old is $19.99 weekend dinner. Sushi doesn't have too much rice. They have some good no rice rolls. Service is usually good for an AYCE. They sometimes forget the items or bring the wrong ones, but it is compariable, or a little bit bettee compared to similar restaurants.

4 stars for the food & 3 stars for the service Dinner on weekday ($42 including tax) Came Tuesday around 6:30 & we got seated right away. The sushi was fresh & the interior is so pretty. It was aesthetic & looked clean. Our favorite was the salmon & carpaccio. I also like their hand rolls, not too much rice & good amount of fish. The lady that was serving us was a bit rude or maybe just blunt. She had a straight face while interacting with us & just felt off putting as we spoke to her politely. Maybe having a bad day or just didn't like us. On the first round, we got a few items and we waited about 10-15 minutes until a different server asked if we wanted to order more but we let him know we were still waiting on our nigiri sushi we didn't receive yet. It accidentally was not put in, but wasn't a big deal. A good amount of sushi had a truffle oil taste to me. I wasn't sure if I preferred it or not but overall the food was still good for a good price. Good addition to the food community

Wow first time trying after passing by this place! We had to use the waitlist tracker and it lets us check our line in the yelp app. It was a Sunday night so kind of busy but also not everyone in our party arrived yet. Once we got in, the place was very nice, the decorations were very beautiful near the front. Our table was near the back on the left side and we got busy ordering the AYCE menu! Unfortunately my son was too tall and we had to pay half price for him, but he had a few bites of rice and teriyaki chicken... I got almost everything I wanted to try! Amazing: carpaccio (all), peppered nigiri, nonspicy no rice rolls, shrimp tempura, baked mussels, karage OK: the baked rolls, veggie tempura (mostly root vegetables), teriyaki chicken, katsu chicken, bulgolgi It was quite dark where we sat, the place looked very nice but I think the side we were on seemed like it needed more light.

Review is a bit overdue as I dined in on 01/28/26. 5/5 for their service and the salmon nigiri, spicy tuna crispy rice, yellowtail collar, salmon collar, and baked green mussel. I think you're good to go getting the regular set, my least favorite pieces were the premium sashimi items. Salmon nigiri is definitely the top item here, I was not a fan of the pepper tuna and pepper salmon as it felt like the pepper specks were too large and overpowering for the seared fish. Bathroom was clean too, and I was visiting every 15 minutes or so because I got full during the first round. Pretty spacious in the restaurant, ambience is casual and unpretentious. I parked in the neighborhood and was able to find a spot quickly.

Oh wow, The speed of service is crazy. Our order rolled out very fast. They chefs and food runners are really moving, Usually there would a delay but as soon as they took our list the plates really pile up. My server is on point too, she rolled up with napkins before I needed them. ( I hate when you have to ask for more and they take forever to get some) Inside it's well lit at the tables, and pretty spacious (can't say the same for parking)

AYCE Sushi in Alhambra was always questionable for me, but man was I impressed by Eat's AYCE Sushi. This location has had its resolving changes of management/restaurant names, but I'm glad I finally gave it a try cause now I'm looking forward to my next visit. My favorite thing? The quality of fish to the ratio of rice, it is perfect portion. Between the fresh fish and the various appetizers, everything was done really well.

Came on a Friday a 7:00 and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table for 2. Convenient free parking right around the corner! We opted for the premium option and ordered one of every item on the premium side. I was surprised to find myself getting full from that first round, it was quite a lot! From the premium menu, my favorites were salmon blue crab and their tuna sashimi. The soft shelled crab was one of my least favorite (too sweet and salty). Had to force myself a bit to finish it. The rest of the menu was good. Good fish to rice ratio. Each round did take a bit of time to come out, and the servers weren't not as available when we tried to put our next order down, but not too badly. Overall I had a great experience. I may come for their lunch special since it seems very popular from other reviews.

Been coming here since the days it was Tomomi, and I love seeing how Eat's has evolved with the revamped menu. It's always a good sign when a place reinvents itself but keeps the quality consistent -- and that's exactly what they've done. We went with the premium AYCE option, and it was absolutely worth it. The ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order, so each round comes out tasting just as good as the first. I mainly stuck with sashimi and no-rice rolls, and the cuts were thick, clean, and buttery. You can really taste the quality in the fish -- no shortcuts here. The premium selections are where it really shines. If you're debating whether to upgrade, do it. The added options make the experience feel elevated and totally justify the price. Bonus: the staff was genuinely impressed (and maybe a little amused) at how much I managed to put away solo. Great service, great quality, and truly a bang-for-your-buck AYCE spot. Glad to see Eat's still delivering after all these years!

First off, the staff were really nice and constantly checked if we needed anything. It is also always nice to walk into an establishment that is gorgeous. It sets the mood for the entire meal. As for the food, the fish and sushi itself are pretty good quality. All the appetizers are done exceptionally well too. I love the variety and options. The no rice rolls were some of my favorite. I do also appreciate the baked rolls for those who might not like sashimi as much. The rice to fish ratio is also perfect. It is really affordable especially if you go during a weekday as well. I highly recommend.

It's okay... second time I got premium ayce and everything was dowsed in truffle oil. Service was mid she forgot our drinks. Ambiance was private and we had a booth in the back. Maybe will come again but prolly not.

We had a pretty bad first experience here. We came in about 30 minutes before last call and thought it was still AYCE. The host/front desk staff never explained anything when we walked in, and the menu was never explained at the table either. Since the menu had 3 rounds listed, we assumed we were ordering AYCE. No one told us it was pay-per-dish at that time or that à la carte had a cutoff before closing. We ended up getting charged around $220, and even after they modified the receipt to 2 Premium AYCE plus special plates not included in AYCE, it still came out to around $160 for two people. The food was okay, but the lack of explanation made the whole experience frustrating and way more expensive than expected.

This time i almost finished a whole plate to myself. I think if i didnt eat the squid legs i wouldve been able to finish. I still ask for things seared cause seared fish is the best. It looks like they added a dessert menu as well all the way in the back. I wanted to try their clam miso but the salmon plate already came with miso soup and you cant upgrade it. Service is always good, water gets refilled pretty fast without having to ask and if you need anything they get it right away. Parking is pretty decent. But, it turns out this restaurant is Korean Japanese, which is fine. I was greeted by a hostess when I first entered and it turns out she was also the server. She was nice. The restaurant is relatively spacious and well-decorated. The menu was plentiful. The restroom, though, needs updating, but it wasn't dirty. These were the items I got: Skirt Beef & Tempura Bento ($23): It came with miso soup, side salad, rice, teriyaki beef, tempura, 4pcs of CA roll, & 2 pc tempura roll. I think it's actually big enough for 2 people to share. Everything was decent except for the beef. Next time, I think I'll stick to chicken or salmon. 3.7/5 stars Salmon Roll ($9): This was simple and delicious. The portions are small though. 4/5 stars. There is free parking on site. Overall, I think I'd come back to try other dishes.
