This is a new restaurant on Main and so we had to give it a try. The price for AYCE was so affordable with the amount of selection you get. We had the regular AYCE and it looks like you have 3 rounds to order. We only made it to round 2 anyway. The interior was well designed and felt like we were transported into a little section of Japan. The servers were very attentive and all the food came out very quickly. Everything was delicious and I love how the rolls are only 4-5 pieces. We mainly ordered sushi, but their hand rolls were good, their garlic edamame was really good and I also enjoyed their Hamachi collar. I was also surprised to find their yellow sushi to be very fresh and sweet. Highly recommend this place and would suggest coming in between rush hour so that you can be seated quickly. First time here with my family and our experience here was not that good. Not that good because we ordered about 8-10 orders of sushi and it took at least 15-20mins for each order to come out and on our table. It just kind of took a while and we weren't even halfway with our list of orders. But, besides that "long waiting" part. wow...speechless at how good this was. we were so caught off guard, for $49 per person for the premium AYCE we were not expecting too much considering that's quite cheap (here fishyfishy charges $78+). the salmon, scallop, sweet shrimp, cucumber salad, and yellowtail collar were standouts. i would say the same quality as top notch sushi restaurants that would charge $18 per 2 piece nigiri alone... we normally do not enjoy white fish much either like yellowtail, but it was so tender here we were amazed it was like butter. we ended up ordering 72 dishes for the 2 of us we can't wait to be back!! this will be our new staple read more

Very good ayce spot that we were recently introduced to by a friend. Love their ayce premium selection, including unlimited fresh wasabi. The soft shell crab and sashimi selections were all delicious. We maxed out the premium plates and ordered very little from their regular sushi menu afterwards. By ordering all the premium items you mind find yourself getting full before ordering the regular rolls and sushi pieces. I found it odd that an order of sushi was only 1 piece per order, most restaurants have a minimum of 2 pieces per order. You can order more food through various wait staff instead of waiting your waiter/waitress. Also reservations are available as there can be a wait. The parking is an issue as it gets busy and hard to find a spot in the rear garage, parking lots across the street at the movie theater or down the street was our best option. read more

This is my go to AYCE sushi spot right now. Fish-- usually very fresh. Occassionally we got a few less fresh fish, especially on weekdays. Quality is great for the price. They have weekday lunch special, and weekday night special now. Kids prices determined by height. My 9 year old is full price now. My 7 year old is $19.99 weekend dinner. Sushi doesn't have too much rice. They have some good no rice rolls. Service is usually good for an AYCE. Maybe having a bad day or just didn't like us. Wow first time trying after passing by this place! We had to use the waitlist tracker and it lets us check our line in the yelp app. It was a Sunday night so kind of busy but also not everyone in our party arrived yet. Once we got in, the place was very nice, the decorations were very beautiful near the front. Our table was near the back on the left side and we got busy ordering the AYCE menu! Unfortunately my son was too tall and we had to pay half price for him, but he had a few bites of rice and teriyaki chicken... I got almost everything I wanted to try! Review is a bit overdue as I dined in on 01/28/26. 5/5 for their service and the salmon nigiri, spicy tuna crispy rice, yellowtail collar, salmon collar, and baked green mussel. I think you're good to go getting the regular set, my least favorite pieces were the premium sashimi items. Salmon nigiri is definitely the top item here, I was not a fan of the pepper tuna and pepper salmon as it felt like the pepper specks were too large and overpowering for the seared fish. Bathroom was clean too, and I was visiting every 15 minutes or so because I got full during the first round. Pretty spacious in the restaurant, ambience is casual and unpretentious. Came on a Friday a 7:00 and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table for 2. Convenient free parking right around the corner! We opted for the premium option and ordered one of every item on the premium side. I was surprised to find myself getting full from that first round, it was quite a lot! From the premium menu, my favorites were salmon blue crab and their tuna sashimi. The soft shelled crab was one of my least favorite (too sweet and salty). Had to force myself a bit to finish it. The rest of the menu was good. Good fish to rice ratio. Each round did take a bit of time to come out, and the servers weren't not as available when we tried to put our next order down, but not too badly. Overall I had a great experience. Been coming here since the days it was Tomomi, and I love seeing how Eat's has evolved with the revamped menu. It's always a good sign when a place reinvents itself but keeps the quality consistent -- and that's exactly what they've done. We went with the premium AYCE option, and it was absolutely worth it. The ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order, so each round comes out tasting just as good as the first. I mainly stuck with sashimi and no-rice rolls, and the cuts were thick, clean, and buttery. You can really taste the quality in the fish -- no shortcuts here. The premium selections are where it really shines. If you're debating whether to upgrade, do it. The added options make the experience feel elevated and totally justify the price. The host/front desk staff never explained anything when we walked in, and the menu was never explained at the table either. Since the menu had 3 rounds listed, we assumed we were ordering AYCE. No one told us it was pay-per-dish at that time or that à la carte had a cutoff before closing. We ended up getting charged around $220, and even after they modified the receipt to 2 Premium AYCE plus special plates not included in AYCE, it still came out to around $160 for two people. The food was okay, but the lack of explanation made the whole experience frustrating and way more expensive than expected. read more

The servers were nice but at times, it was hard to get their attention as it appeared to be busy. We opted for the regular which included 3 rounds of ordering. We ordered nigiris, such as salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallop, and eel. For cut rolls, we got spicy tuny roll, Albacore Delight Roll, and In & Out Salmon roll. For sides, we got miso soup, seaweed salad, spicy garlic edamame, shishito peppers, and spicy tuna crispy rice. We also ordered poke salad, cucumber wrap, and yellowtail collar. We enjoyed our food but the quality isn't over the top amazing. However, I still think it's worth a try. The yellowtail collar did take a while for it to come out. The order arrived near the end of the meal and they seemed to have waited until several parties ordered it and cooked it together before bringing it out. The four of us came here for dinner and had an incredible experience, it is a must-visit for any sushi lover seeking a never-ending sushi adventure! The sushi-to-rice ratio is perfect, and every bite was delicious and flavorful. They offer a wide variety of sushi, cut rolls, hand rolls, small plates, and appetizers, so we didn't feel the need to upgrade to the premium menu. That said, after such a great experience, I'm definitely tempted to try the premium options next time. Listen, it's NOT a bad place. It's spacious and clean and service is pretty normal. But as a sushi purist and someone who's very selective for my calorie and driving to/fro efforts - it's hard to give it higher marks for the quality of fish. We stopped in for dinner the other night. There is plenty of parking in the free parking structure behind the restaurant. The restaurant is elegant and charming. One of the best looking sushi restaurants in the SoCal area. I love that someone in your party can order the Premium Menu AYCE and another can order the Regular Menu AYCE and share. And we did just that. We ordered all of the Premium Menu items and shared all of it. There was more than enough for both of us to share and still order a lot from the regular menu. The premium items such as the new style sashimi, nigiri and small plates were all delicious. On the regular menu we ordered a lot of different small plates. The chicken katsu, gyoza, and salmon tempura were all stand outs. Our favorite was the baked mussels which are mixed with scallops and crawdads. They were amazing. The regular nigiri was also high quality. Do not sleep on the salmon and the pepper salmon. They are so fatty and buttery. We finished with a half order of udon. A perfect way to finish the meal. This is one of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants in the area. Reasonable prices especially for weekday lunch. The seared pepper salmon is one of our favorite items. Generous sized salmon and yellowtail collars as well. The rice to sushi ratio is good, it's a small amount so you're not stuffed with carbs. The premium menu is also a great value for the additional items that you get and not everyone in the party has to order it. We usually get one premium to share. Service is usually very good and the food comes out pretty quickly after you order. They did a great job remodeling the space from the previous Japanese restaurant. Yes, I come here almost every month sometimes multiple times a month. It's my reason to keep working and making that mula so I can have more sushi! Today, I'm complimenting some of the changes I've noticed. 1. Baked mussels are sooo good now! No off putting fishiness! 2. I love the sweet sushi ginger. No more soapy taste. 3. Points system works very well! Good points today: We had ordered a yellowtail collar, the server had initially brought it to the table across from us before realizing it was the wrong table. She hadn't even placed it on the table or anything yet but thought she should follow up with us anyway. She has spoken with the manager after dropping off the plate with us to let us know what had happened. She was willing to replace the plate for us as I'm sure some customers would fear cross contamination. That's true but I witnessed everything and the plate never left her hands nor did the other table ever touch the plate so there was never a concern. I still appreciated that she went above and beyond to make sure we were fully satisfied. That yuzu wasabi sauce they put on the squid nigiri is sooo good!! Con: tempura dipping sauce is still just sweet. No dashi flavor. We added some shoyu at the table, that helped but it's not tempura dipping sauce. Today's sushi pieces were below avg compared to previous visits. Still good but much more filling given the rice portions were the same. Neutral: sushi rice does have added sweetness. From day 1 the consensus was this place likes to season things on the sweet side. Sushi still tastes great so not complaining. Hence the neutral rating. Just an observation. It did leave some of us feeling the food coma harder than others. Note: free parking available in the back! There's an alley way you can take to short cut to the front of the restaurant rather than walk the entire block around. Be aware is 15 min temporary zones on the first floor parking. Your entire party must be present to be seated. Additional condiments available upon request. Go there 30 mins after opening if you want to avoid the sewage smell. AYCE sushi spot with a cute and spacious interior, but the sushi itself didn't really hit the spot for me. The fish-to-rice ratio was good, though the rice was inconsistent throughout. The fish seemed fairly fresh, but the flavors were lacking and tasted similar no matter which fish I ordered. I went with the premium menu, but many premium items weren't included- such as uni and toro- which was disappointing and didn't feel worth the price. I'm also not entirely sure what was in the premium hand roll, but the blue crab hand roll was very heavy. Flavor-wise, the garlic edamame was the standout for me. Service was good overall. The staff consistently cleared empty plates and checked in to make sure everything was okay. There were so many items to choose from the regular option so we opted out of the premium option, which was $48.99/person. We ordered Carpaccio, tempura, miso soup, house salad, baked green mussels, baby lobster rolls, sushi, takoyaki, edamame, salmon collar, spider roll, and Philadelphia roll. We went in on a Thursday night, we are two adults and two kids. They measured both of my kids at the entrance , and one had to pay and one did not which you were totally fine with. We went with the basic all-you-can-eat option. We put in our first round and food came out very quickly, my older kid was very excited to order his own rolls and get his own plates. Service was fine and we were checked in on often. I do like that the roles are only four pieces so you could try a little bit of everything. Ambience was more chill and relaxed, tables and booths were nice. AYCE had so many options, from salads, to appetizers, two small plates and so many rolls. Well, I'm going to break the trend and not give Eat's a 5 star. Perhaps I'm biased having been to many other AYCE sushi spots dozens of times, mostly in Vegas, so I can't help but make comparisons. Plus: The interior feels very spacious, modern and clean. I really like the ambiance. Service was prompt and friendly. The staff worked fast and were very attentive of clearing tables, filling water, bringing out dishes. Minus: The flavor was not there. Many of the items we ordered had little flavor. The wasabi was very weak with a powdery consistency. It didn't mix with soy sauce to make a thick paste, it just crumbled apart. The menu isn't as extensive as what I'm used to or had hoped: ie. Few nigiri choices, fewer appetizer choices and no dessert. One item that was questionable was the sushi blossom. We tried the raw fish on top by itself, and they had a weird fishy (not so fresh taste) The other nigiri were fine, but the rolls really needed more flavor. The tempura sauce was pretty sweet and didn't pair well. However, we ended the meal with miso soup and a bowl of udon, which was savory and soothing. We left there full, but was very thirsty the entire afternoon, and something didn't sit well in my stomach. Again, I can't help but compare it to the many places we've been to in Vegas and in Pasadena, so that's my take. Many others who gave Eat's 5 stars of course feel differently. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated with nice music playing. The servers were friendly, attentive, and prompt. The food quality was good. My highlight were the pepper salmon and Pink Lady. I felt the menu wasn't extensive enough considering the price point for Weekday lunch - $39.99! There were too many rolls options. By 2nd Round, we were stuffed with all the rice and crab filled rolls. There should have been some sashimi or carpaccio options. There appetizer section was minimal. Speaking of the price, there needs to be an update. On their website and at the restaurant posting, it still says $29.99 for Lunch Special (Mon-Fri). This was why we went. My group got the standard ayce set & we think we ate our money's worth. They have nice dimly lit booths & interior looked really nice. The quality, service, flavor and vibe are all amazing. The staff is so incredibly kind. This is by far the best sushi place when it comes to rice to sushi ratio. Highlight for me was the premium seared scallop and the pepper salmon. The reason I didn't give a 5 was I felt they could have a few more nigiri options or premium options like Uni. Though the quality and taste for all the food we ate was outstanding. Price: 5/5 - $108 before tip for all you can eat sushi, plus sake, plus soda is crazy value. I came back again on a Sunday evening and had a yummy yummy time :3 I did not like when the host looked very visibly surprised when I said it was just me, but it really encouraged me to eat my weight in sushi so maybe i owe it all to him. I went with the premium dinner this time and tried everything on the premium menu along with some other dishes I hadn't tried before. Hits: sweet shrimp, jumbo scallops, yellowtail sashimi Misses: all of the crab dishes :/ The crab was just not hitting. I would not get the premium menu again, i think their regular selection is still good and I would maybe order the ones i did like on the side and pay for just those.
