    Amazing.

Chaw is an absolutely amazing server, but even more than that, she is an incredible host who truly knows how to make guests feel welcomed and taken care of. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. What really stood out was how knowledgeable she was about the menu. She took the time to recommend different dishes and drinks that she thought we would enjoy, and her suggestions genuinely enhanced our entire dining experience. It never felt like she was simply taking our order--she helped guide us through the menu and made the evening feel much more personal and enjoyable. We already love coming here because the food and drinks are consistently A+, but service like Chaw's is what really makes us want to keep coming back. Great food can bring you into a restaurant, but exceptional hospitality is what makes you remember the experience, and Chaw absolutely delivered that. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, professional while still being warm and personable, and made us feel like valued guests throughout the entire meal. It is increasingly rare to find someone who takes this much pride in creating a great experience for their customers. Thank you, Chaw, for taking such great care of us and making an already great restaurant even better. We will absolutely be back and hope to have you take care of us again. Highly recommend!

We were in Alhambra and we came across Eat AYCE Sushi. The reviews on Yelp were great, so we decided to dine in there. Public parking is available behind the restaurant. We were greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant was very clean and had relaxing and inviting ambience. They have different tiers either regular or premium for all you can eat. The restaurant has digital touchscreen mounted on each table to place your order. They have wide varieties of sushi, sashimi, rolls, carpaccio, tempura, karagee and more. We ordered snow cone roll, Albacore Delight roll, sushi blossom, fresh water eel sushi, baby scallops sushi, squid sushi, octopus sushi, egg sushi, tuna sushi and baked mussels. For carpaccio, we tried albacore, salmon, and tuna Shoutout to Samantha! She was our server during our first visit. She was very sweet, attentive and friendly The service was excellent! The staff were very professional. Our orders came very quickly. My goodness! Everything was fresh, buttery, savory, rich in flavor and of high quality, just divine! Since our first time there was excellent, I was craving their sushi. On our second visit, we ordered one premium and one regular. The quality and quantity of the seafood were excellent. Shoutout to Lin! He was very attentive and friendly. For Permium, I ordered pepper tuna, salmon, soft- shell crab, scallops, octopus and more. As I expected, everything was heavenly. We had such an excellent experience in both times. Definitely, Eat Ayce will be my go to sushi restaurant. The price is reasonable compared to high quality food and excellent service. I highly recommend Eat AYCE Sushi.

All-You-Can-Eat Sushi for $29.99! We really enjoyed our experience at Eat Sayce! What caught our attention was their All-You-Can-Eat Sushi special for just $29.99, with up to 2 hours of dining time. There was a great variety of sushi, and we loved that we could try different rolls and dishes without worrying about ordering just one or two things. For the price, we think it's a really good option if you love sushi and want to enjoy a relaxed meal with plenty of choices. Just keep in mind that everyone at the table has to choose the AYCE option or order à la carte, and there is a charge for excessive leftovers -- so order what you can actually eat. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back! If you're a sushi lover, this place is worth checking out!

First time here and impressed with the price, the quality of fish, and spacious space. In addition, free parking for 4 hours behind the restaurant was very nice. Food came fast. Service was good. Will definitely be back soon.

Joanna our server is super helpful. We came Thursday night as a table of 9 and we can be a handful with how many questions we had. She answered them all and quick service. The place is still as beautifully decorated with the glowing tree and sleek wooden furniture. The food is amazingly fresh, ordering on the tablet makes it so much easier especially with the descriptions, pictures, and directions on limits and price of drinks. Everything raw came as soon as we ordered, carpaccio, nigiri, no rice rolls, and salads. My favorite was the peppered tuna and salmon nigiri, if my stomach had room I'd eat so much more. The hot foods did take longer but really worth the wait, the teriyaki chicken, bulgogi hot plate, karage, mussels, miso soup, vegetable tempura, and shrimp tempura. Mussels were my favorite and had scallops! Since the last time, it has gotten so much better and convenient. Would definitely come back and I also asked if they allow a one person for ayce and they said yes.

The sushi at EAT's was okay! Their fish to rice ratio is good but their fish comes out warm which is a bit concerning considering it's raw fish. Their sides and other rolls were decent! My favorite were their baked mussels, salmon collar and their crispy spicy tuna rice. Service was excellent! We received our orders quickly and our server was attentive! There is a good amount of seating inside the restaurant but it gets packed. There was a wait at 8 pm on a Wednesday which was kind of crazy!

Liked the quality of their fish. Was fresh and yummy. The carpaccios had a good sauce that complimented the sashimi. Poke salad was really flavorful. You order everything from the ipad but the servers were still super helpful. They kept giving us more wasabi and ginger when we ran out, or when we needed more napkins. They were really attentive. It wasn't too busy when I went so no lines! Booths are also cute. Place has a clean aesthetic.

We had a great experience here! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and there was a really good variety to choose from. We also tried the AYCE premium items, and there were plenty of delicious options that made the upgrade worth it. Our server was Lin and he was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the experience and will definitely be coming back again! Thank you Lin!

Tablet to order, super deaf friendly. Visual, easy to see and decide what to get. Esse free cart checking out process. Great excellent, would be back!

Even though this is an AYCE place, they did not sacrifice the qualify of the fish compared to their a la carte location! Really enjoyed coming here for a friend's birthday and the service was great too! Favorite piece is definitely the seared pepper salmon - be sure to ask for a side of ponzu and truffle oil, thank me later :)

Came here recently with a friend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I'm not always a fan of AYCE sushi because I'm kind of a sushi snob, and quality definitely matters to me lol. But I have to say, this place does AYCE really well. Everything is ordered through a tablet, which makes it easy to keep track of what you've ordered. I also like that they offer a light rice option, and most of their rolls only come with 4 pieces. That way you're not stuck eating a huge roll and can try a lot more variety. The service was friendly, and the food came out surprisingly fast throughout the meal. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if you're looking for AYCE sushi in the SGV, I think this spot takes the crown. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm craving all you can eat sushi, we ordered the regular option btw.

Great service. Waited about 30 minutes for a 5:30 group of 5 on a Saturday. Waiters always checked if we wanted to order more to get the most food within the 2 hour time limit. Every nigiri was decent but the yellow tail and tuna nigiri weren't as fresh. Tasted like it was in the process of being defrosted and had a watery taste. Not fishy but also not great. Hot Items: Tempura takoyaki and katsu were amazing and so crispy. Baked mussels weren't baked long enough so kind of watery and not a crust like other AYCE sushi spots. Mussels were also chopped which was a different texture than what we were used to. Udon was decent and better than most AYCE spots I've tried.

    10/10

10/10 Service amazing and on it for all you can eat. Our waitress was Johana was on it. Food amazing and overall great experience. Left a smile on my face! :)

I remember when they first opened, I was thinking to myself, "Hell yeah, finally it's closer to us…read moreand now I don't have to go all the way to like Torrance or something." Well that was ages ago and it wasn't until now that I was able to visit and try out their delicious katsu, which hands down, is super good! I went during National Library Card Month. During the month of September, the city of Monterey Park is running a special where if you have a MPK library card, you can get deals and freebies from businesses and you can get an iced or green tea from Kagura if you show them your library card. I got a cold canned green tea, added to a cup of ice, refreshing and great with the delicious katsu that I got. I did a walk in for a slightly later lunch after dropping by Asayoru Maid Cafe across the street for a drink during their morning Asa shift. I went on a Thursday and was seated immediately. Staff is very friendly and checked up on me several times. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's simple and elegant in it's own way. No extra frills or bells and whistles. There were a couple other tables dining there and pick up orders too, so I can imagine it'd be busy during the weekends and lunch/dinner rushes. They have a paper wait list outside for those times. Limited parking in front of the plaza, but there's a parking structure next door. For my lunch, I got their demi glace loin katsu. It comes with miso soup, a side of rice, huge helping of cabbage salad with dressing, hot mustard, and some small sides of a sweet carrot salad, cucumber pickles, and 2 pieces of potatoes. Each side added a nice balance to flavor. I mention this in some reviews and to my friends that usually you get full because you get tired of the same flavor and texture all of the time, so I really enjoyed the small bites of crunchy texture from sweet, sour, and savory. The katsu is really where Kagura shines, as it's what they're known for. Super moist pork katsu meat inside, deliciously tender delicate layers of meat. The crisp of the breading outside isn't too greasy, but has the perfect level of indulgent oiliness that balances out. All perfect with a fluffy bed of rice and the demi glace brown sauce added a deliciously savory, slightly sort of fruity ketchup-y flavor (added this to my rice too!). Definitely want to come back to try more of their menu!

Understandably they're more know for their yakitori, but the other hot foods were just alright. 3/5 We parked at the plaza across the street and we were seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon. We came during their ramen/lunch special so we decided to give that a try. We ordered Hakata ramen with a beef bowl ($13.75 + $6) and a spicy hakata ramen with a curry bowl ($18 + $6.50). We also got a few yakitori including 1 chicken gizzard, 1 chicken heart, and 1 enoki with pork belly. Both ramens were just okay, nothing too crazy. The curry tasted good but it did taste like the curry you can buy from the box in a grocery store. Not like I disliked it but again, nothing too special. The beef bowl was also standard. The chicken heart and gizzard were grilled well but the enoki had that weird watery mushroom taste that I do not like in a mushroom so I kind of disliked it. Overall, I think the food was kind of pricey and just alright. There wasn't really anything to complain about and the food was just okay. For the price, I might go somewhere else for a nice bowl of ramen.

The fish was tender and the skin was beautifully crisp. It was served with a slightly tangy dipping sauce, which provided needed acidity. The salmon salad was good, but the greens were slightly wilted. The sashimi salmon itself was buttery and lovely. The avocado on top of the salad was beautifully sliced and perfectly ripe.
